Russetpelt curled up in his nest, his tail brushing his nose. His pale ginger pelt sleek but ruffled here and there. His ears twitched to the gentle patter of the rain outside the den, scenting the salty tang of water as it fell gently from the clouds. The tom began to stir slightly as he heard pawsteps approach the den.

Petalfur padded into the den, her fur covered with rain drops, she smiled wit her eyes as she noticed Russetpelt was stirring,
she hurried over to him and dropped the prey next to his nest, "Goodmorning, I brought you food." She purred, she smiled at how the tom's fur was flying everywhere. She moved to the side of him and started to groon his fur, before settling down and hooking her prey with a claw and bringing it closer to her. She could feel an ache in her stomach telling her to eat so she took a bite, enjoying every bite. |

The pale ginger cat chuckled before taking a bite out of the prey Petalfur had dropped before him, "guess i overslept a little." |

Petalfur smiled, "Its okay love, everyone needs a little extra sleep once in a while." She mewed and licked his shoulder. Then took another bite of her prey, but she was still hungry and took another. She gazed around the room and only saw a few sleeping cats. What lazy buns She thought, smiling to herself. She finished up her prey and then began licking her paws, now that she was full her stomach felt like it would explode she laid against the tom; rubbing her tummy. |
