After reading the new sample, it seems like Needlepaw is finally bonding with Violetkit.
But it also seems like there might be another forbidden love, since Alderpaw is definitely developing a crush on her. -sigh-

I thought Sleekpaw would become the second Mothwing but she was kinda mean to everyone. Needlepaws gang (her (the leader), beepaw (the baby) and sleekpaw (the nerd)) was nice. Still hoping Beepaw is not an evil kitty.

I still don't like her, and she's not the best role model either, I feel like Violetkit will become rude and defensive like her, and the other apprentices.

i love Needlepaw and don't see what's so bad about her ?? granted I never finished the second half of TAQ but from the excerpt she seems like she's just a bit detached but she still obviously cares about Violetkit. I feel the same way about Pinenose. She's not an excellent mother to Violet but she's not mean or anything ?

To me she obviously didn't care about Violetkit idk she cared enough that she took the time to sneak her out to see her sister. and i dont have the thing open so i cant give a direct quote but she did show sympathy, was sincere with her, and promised to look out for her after they left. just because Needlepaw isn't all "uwu its okay!! dont worry about that owl~ its okay that u cant keep up, ur still valid and beautiful and everythings okay~~" doesn't mean she doesn't care about her. Alderpaw clearly has a different style of 'parenting' but just because needlepaw isn't as emotionally invested in her kit doesn't mean she's ready to drop her and run. |

I really don't want AlderxNeedle. Two reasons:
-Forbidden romance is annoying
-Alderpaw is too good for Needlepaw. Too pure.

I didn't like her for a very long time, but it seems like she's starting to soften up to Violetkit, but I'm not judging till I read the book, and it's coming out in a month, so we don't have long to wait. |

I don't really like Needlepaw, but I thought that it was cute how she and Violetkit were bonding. It was sweet when she called Violetkit toadbrain (I think that's what she said, I don't remember ) and calling her kit

I don't like Needlepaw tbh, she has a lot of growing up to do. nah spoilers are fine idk what u mean by 'fitting in just fine' w/ them. chatting and being friendly? ok. killing other cats? not ok. tbh im working on finishing TAQ but yesterday i opened a pdf, read 3 pages, and stopped oops. as for the food thing, that sounds pretty bad but again i'd have to read it to fully form an opinion for myself. My original post wasn't about her morality anyway, it was just what I took from the TAS excerpt, and from that, she doesn't seem like such a horrible character like everyone says she is. |
