Flurryheart set up a few more patrols.
Spiritvoid looked up at Moondust, tilting his head before padding over to her. "Alright."
Flamesoul huffed as he looked up at her. "What news?"
Wolfpaw paused, looking at where Aurorastar was gesturing.

(Thanks guys. I've had two PT sessions devoted to my neck [stealing time from being able to work on my hips] and it's still not better. I made a third appointment for the week, it's tomorrow morning [I've never gone on a saturday before!] and hope they can help it get better soon. I'm tired of just laying in bed after work! At least I have the weekend to rest it...)
Lightningbolt was leading the hunting party. He crouched close to the ground, hidden behind mossy rocks and grassy patches from the young deer. It's mother was not far away, grazing. Finally, close enough, he shot out into sight, scaring the young deer as well as the doe. They both took off in the opposite direction. It was then that Lynxspot reached out from behind a rock right in front of the prey, legs out and tripping the fawn. Fallensky flew up above, guiding the mother away from her offspring as she chased the deer away. Finally, Thunderbolt lurched out of the bushes nearby with another cat and pounced on the deer, the two taking it down to the ground. Thunderbolt bit it's neck hard, and it was a quick, easy death. The fawn lay motionless.
Brightpaw grinned. "Flurryheart has been made Head Warrior!" she exclaimed to the young warrior, excited. It was good news. She waited for his response, not sure exactly how he would react.
Oaktree began climbing the tree, and expert at this. Due to his lack of powers, he was always trying to learn more new skills, anything he could to prove his worth. Dangerous, sometimes reckless things, but effective. He brought in a lot of prey.
Emberkit turned, surprised at hearing his name. He caught sight of Airkit, and mewed quietly, "Hello." Then he looked back up at the sky-light in the cave roof above him. Every now and then he would see a bird fly by, and his ears twitched.

Twilightpaw and Rowanpaw were not far away from the kill sight, watching carefully. The siblings stood apart from one another, however, clearly not interested in conversing with each other. This was their first observation of a deer hunt. Their ears twitched as Aurorastar's group approached, a bit surprised and interested. Twilightpaw stayed back, thought, while Rowanpaw padded towards them, along with Lightningbolt. "Nice to see you guys again," Lightningbolt spoke to Zinniapetal and Hollowpaw. As the other cats came over, they all greeted Hollowpaw, remembering her from her last trip to the upper camp. Aurorastar introduced Wolfpaw. "This is Hollowpaw's brother," she spoke. Not just Wolfpaw, but Hollowpaw's brother.
Moondust led the hunting party out towards the pine forest. Ravenfall flew behind the others, just mere inches off the ground. As they got deeper in and the shadows of the dark forest engulfed them, pounding started in Moondust's head, and she sighed. She could tell a vision was coming soon, but hoped it wouldn't interfere in the hunt. "Let's spread out. I smell a massive amount of mice. There's got to be a couple of families nearby," she told the group, shutting her eyes for just a few seconds.

(I hope you feel better soon. It sounds really painful. And the contest sounds like an interesting way to attract new members.)
Flamesoul's eyes grew wide and he leaped to his paws, causing Brightpaw to fall off his back. "She's was appointed Head Warrior!?" His eyes were shining with happiness and his tail was sticking straight out.
(Wait I think Coalflare was the one who was going on the hunting patrol, and Spiritvoid was going on the border patrol. I think.)
Hollowpaw dipped her head to the Upper camp cats while Wolfpaw gave a half-hearted greeting. He was still feeling a little pushed aside, but tried his best to look unaffected by the way he was introduced.

Brightpaw nodded. "Yeah. Maybe one day she'll be deputy and they'll make you head warrior," she mentioned. "Wouldn't that be cool?"
(Yup sounds about right to me!)
Rowanpaw introduced himself to Hollowpaw, smiling at the she-cat, remembering her when he had come to the camp before. "You ready to live in the upper camp?" he asked her cheerfully.

The contest sounds cool, but why I'm up so late is unknown...:/ ))
Airkit stared at Emberkit, "Hi Emberkit. Indigoleaf wants to see you," she mewed to him, but not telling him everything. Then, the kit ran off back towards the direction she came from.
Delphapool watched Oaktree climb as she waited on the bottom. "So.....how much longer until you get there?" She asked, flicking her tail. She then suddenly shot up, blinking rapidly, her ice blue eyes all watery. "Hey! Watch it up there!" She harrumphed, "You got some stuff in my eye, and you just damaged the tree bark!" Delphapool shook her head slowly in disappointment. "One day, nature will get back at you, ya know?" She teased, but not too loudly.

(Hello) (Sorry about my absence yesterday. Rearranging my whole room. I might be busy today too.)
Flamesoul thought of that for a moment, his nose twitching a little. He flicked his tail, giving a small shrug. "Ah... She wouldn't appoint a family member to that position." His voice held a hint of disappointment in it.
Coalflare nodded, heading off in a random direction. She heard scuffling under the fallen leaves and needles and perked her ears, opening her mouth to take in the scents and try to pinpoint the location of the scuffling. Once she did, she fell into a crouch, keeping her muscles tense and her tail just off the ground.
Hollowpaw gave Rowanpaw a shy smile and a small nod. "But I hear it can get pretty cold," she said with a small shiver at the thought of chilly air.
Meanwhile, Wolfpaw was sitting by himself, watching his sister with a slight frown. He scanned the new cats, then his gaze stopped on Twilightpaw. His whiskers twitched a little as he took in her appearance and the way she stayed back from her brother and the other cats.

{Breezepaw} She-cat | 11 moons | Wind Breezepaw is a light brown tabby with dark brown stripes. She is nimble, which helps her whenever she has to escape from trouble (which, in her case, is a lot). She has hazel eyes that always have a glint of mischief in them. She is adventurous, hot-headed, and rather reckless at times; she likes to use her power just for the sake of it, like blowing random or sand all over the carefully cleaned clearing. She doesn't like to listen to criticism and hates being ordered around, which always gets her yelled at. It rarely affects her; she ends up in trouble a few days later again. She grew up with strict parents who are exhausted by her shenanigans. They might've actually been relieved when she chose to switch camps. She feels bad for leaving them, though, and sometimes she wishes she wasn't such a disappointment to her parents. However, when she actually tried to be good and obedient, many thought she was joking and mocked her. After that, she stayed true to her stubborn self. {Cloudwhisker} Tom | 24 moons | Winged Cloudwhisker is a gray tabby tom with dull brown eyes. He has one white paw and a white tail-tip. He's a seemingly simple cat, and he tends to be a bit boring. He rarely offers his voice in things, and usually lets others do whatever they want. He is a bit bitter that he has to be a messenger just because he was born winged, and he feels a mixture of guilt and annoyance whenever he's asked to deliver something (although he makes sure to never show it). He is self-conscious about his wings and wishes he could have a normal body. He used to complain all the time about it, until his father just burst into an angry rant about how selfish he was being and how he should be proud he's helping the clan every time he delivers messages. After that, he grew very introverted and rarely shared his opinions. [ Penguin ~ ❄ ] Middle Camp Warrior OTHER:

(Hi Penguin! So glad to have you! I've added both of your characters, Echoheart will be Breezepaw's mentor. Breezepaw sounds like she's going to be fun! ) "I don't know," Brightpaw prompted. "The clan would sure be in good paws. Of course, I don't plan on letting you take my position of leader as clan," she teased.
Moondust waited as the other cats spread out in search of the prey. She padded forward to head away from their direction, but didn't make it far. The vision overcame her, and she was whisked away from the forest. Around her was darkness and mist. She hissed in frustration. "I already told you to leave me alone! If you're not going to tell me anything, then I can't help you. Go to another cat," she spat into the fog around her, hoping one of the spirits that had brought her here would here her. "Darkness..." a voice whispered from the mist. Moondust rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it's dark. I can see that." Then, the voice whispered again, this time behind her. She gulped as she turned, wondering how the spirit went from one place to another so quickly. But she again repeated, "Let me go back."
Rowanpaw shrugged. "I guess. I've always lived here, though, so it's not cold to me. What's the middle camp like?" he wondered. Twilightpaw caught eyes with Wolfpaw, locking onto his gaze. She tilted her head, thinking for a few moments, before padding closer. She didn't speak to him, though, just listened to the group. Zinniapetal was murmuring about how she had missed Twilightkit and Rowankit's apprentice ceremony. Aurorastar was acknowledging the great hunt. Lightningbolt was being boastful as usual. But Twilightpaw's eyes stayed on Wolfpaw's pelt.
Indigoleaf smiled at Airkit when she arrived, and pushed the prey in her direction. "Eat, missy. Your mother may not pay you much attention anymore since she lost Hailkit and Cavekit, but I've been watching you. And you look too skinny. You'll be made an apprentice in less than a moon. What apprentice can fight and hunt as small as you?" she questioned rhetorically.
As Delphapool spoke, the hawk flew out of the tree, sensing the two. Oaktree let out a hiss. "Darn it!" He climbed back down in a frustrated hustle. "Great. That would have been a great piece of prey to take back," he huffed.
Echoheart was with Breezepaw outside the camp, at the Clear Pool. "Focus," she reminded her apprentice. "Imagine pushing the water apart from the center. Then, manipulate the water using your paws; throw the wind at it," she told her. Breezepaw only had one moon of training left to go, and plenty left to learn, Echoheart knew. "Focus," she repeated quietly. Using wind to part water was tough, but she was certain Breezepaw had the capability to do it, were she to take the time to actually train and work with her powers. Instead, she played with them...Something that often frustrated Echoheart, making it tough for her to do her job as a mentor.

(Hello!)
"Leader?" Flamesoul questioned, pausing. "I dunno. I think I'd make a pretty good one what with all my strength and bravery, and might I add, good looks." He took a few slow, long steps, holding his muzzle and tail high in the air before sending a smirk in Brightpaw's direction.
Coalflare crept closer to the rustling, each step gentle enough to flatten the dead leaves. Once the prey was in sight she paused, tensing her muscles, and pounced, quickly killing the mouse with a nip to the back of the neck.
Hollowpaw looked back in the direction they had come from. "There are tons of trees and other plants, and so many sounds and smells when you go out into the forest. It's almost dizzying," she mused. Wolfpaw kept his gaze on Twilightpaw for a moment longer before padding closer as well so he was right beside her. "Hello..." he greeted almost uncertainly.

"Sorry!" Delphapool sent Oaktree an apologetic look. "Was I too loud?" She asked. "Maybe we should hunt elsewhere. But first, calm down, tree." (LEMME TAKE A SELFIE)
Airkit shrugged, "Myself somewhere around a moon or less?" She replied, "But thanks anyways, Indigoleaf," she flattened a tuft of fur sticking up between her two ears. Idigoleaf was a nice cat.

"Why do I have to learn to part water when I'm a wind apprentice?" Breezepaw replied, focusing instead on making a bit of sand dance around her paws. she liked the feeling of wind and sand particles sweeping against her fur. "Besides, isn't the test supposed to be jumping off the waterfall into the Pool? Why can't I be doing that?" She'd tried to do it a few nights ago after everyone was asleep, just because it sounded fun and she didn't want to wait, but she'd managed to trip in the dark and ended up with several nasty bruises. So she'd have to try that some other time.

(Ugh sorry I haven't been on. Neck. Hurting. So. BAD! GRRR! Really done with this now going on two weeks)
Echoheart gently cuffed her apprentice on the ear. "Because, you need wind to part water. And you have another moon until your upper camp test. Quit rushing it, or I'll keep you as an apprentice for another two moons!" she almost hissed, though in good spirits; she enjoyed her apprentice, despite her constant antics. The she-cat took in a deep breath of the thin, cold mountain air around them. She had been born here on the mountain, and was used to it, even though she had made her home in the middle camp for many moons. Yet, she enjoyed the upper camp, and considered whether she would stay here when she was done training Breezepaw.
Oaktree sighed. "No, it wasn't you," he lied to the she-cat. He didn't want to hurt Delphapool's feelings. As strange as the young she-cat was, she had such a sweetness to her, and he didn't want to destroy that. Despite being a warrior, she still had a lot to learn. And he did, too. But he couldn't treat her like a kit; she wasn't. Actually, in some cats' opinions, she was more valuable to the clan than he was, being that she had powers...
Indigoleaf plucked a couple of pawfuls of soft, downy feathers from the hawk, and pushed them in Airkit's direction. "Split these with Emberkit for your all's nest. Your mother hasn't replaced your nesting material in awhile," she noticed. In fact, the elder had begun to think that Galegust was purposefully avoiding both of the kits...
Brightpaw let out a mrrow of laughter. "You wish!" she half-snorted and half-laughed. Then her face dropped, and she sighed. "I'm moving to the middle camp soon," she brought up. "I don't want to go. I enjoy this camp so much. It's so different from where I grew up in the upper camp," she admitted. "It feels like home. And I'm going to miss you." With a blush, she quickly added, "And Blossompaw! I mean, she's like, my best friend!" The she-cat looked away from the tom, hoping he hadn't thought anything of her mentioning him.
"...Moondust?" Ravenfall prodded. When the she-cat leading the patrol didn't respond, she paid closer attention to the cat. Her eyes were clouded, her gaze not focused. Her ears did not move in response to sound. In a quick second, Ravenfall realized that she must be having a vision. Worried, she padded off in Coalflare's direction, as she was the closest cat to the group.
Rowanpaw smiled. "Sounds great. But this was Flurryheart's home, right? My mother talked a lot about Flurryheart, when they were apprentices they were together a lot," he recalled. "So it must just be natural for you to be in the mountains," he thought. Twilightpaw turned her nose up, looking away from Wolfpaw, attention clearly drawn elsewhere. She grew disinterested in the young tom in a split second, noticing his deformity as she had grown closer. The intelligent, beautiful, yet snotty she-cat turned her gaze over to the leader. Aurorastar was making the last introductions. "Hollowpaw and Wolfpaw's adoptive mother, Flurryheart, has been made Head Warrior. She will run the middle camp," she was explaining to these cats for the first time. "I'm very excited to make the announcement to the rest of the upper camp, so let's all hurry on. Wolfpaw, this will be great for you; your first chance to see how the upper camp cats carry prey back up the mountain, especially large prey like this," she spoke of the deer, finally turning her attention back to the two apprentices she had traveled there with.

I found soo many very rare eggs this morning at 8:50-9:00 am today in dragoncave =√= If only I had gotten them all... there was even the one chicken egg... If you knew my grandma, then she's give you these reeeally relaxing massages. She's really good at it! If only though, Turtle...))
Airkit and ran off but not before saying, "Okay, thank you, Indigoleaf!" Then she was gone in the direction the nursery was. Emberkit soon came into sight, still sitting in the very spot he was not too long ago. She bounded right past him, her wind sending a cool breeze past the young Tom. The feathers flopped around in her mouth as Airkit skidded to a stop in front of the spot she slept in, and the one Emberkit slept in. She bent down, carefully placing the feathers neatly onto the nests.
Delphapool nodded slowly, unsure of if he was lying or not, but something did feel wrong, "OK..but are you sure?" She asked, sticking her face right in front of Oaktree, her ice blue eyes purposely wide and unblinking. "You shall swear to me to tell the truth, only the truth, and nothing but truth, little kitten..."

(That sounds awful Turtle... Do you know what's causing it?)
Flamesoul's demeanor fell when he heard Brightpaw was leaving, then rose when he heard she would miss him. However the newly-risen hope quickly turned to him scolding himself internally. Of course she meant me and Blossompaw. We're both her friends. Yes. Friends. Blossompaw and... I are her... friends. Right. Oh why are males so clueless.
Coalflare was burying the mouse she had caught when she looked up at the sound of a cat approaching.
Hollowpaw tilted her head a bit at what Rowanpaw said. "I suppose you're right." Her and her brother's fur was about as thick as their adoptive mother's, so maybe it was natural. Wolfpaw laid his ears back when Twilightpaw turned her nose up at him. His pelt grew hot as he suddenly became self-conscious. He tried his best to ignore the feeling as he turned his attention to Aurorastar when his family's names were mentioned.

(Thanks, but I'm fine guys I can deal with it. Going to try to be on more ) Emberkit followed Airkit, curious over her strange behavior. "What are you doing?" the little tom asked her, looking at the feathers flying around the nursery.
Oaktree rolled his eyes again. Such a strange she-cat..."Come on, let's go see what prey we can find in the meadow," he mewed.
""Anyways," Brightpaw began, "Let's go swim in the ocean while I've still got the chance. I want to remember what this place is like while I'm in the mountains!" she exclaimed. Besides, she wasn't scared of som setups shark!
Twilightpaw overheard Hollowpaw and Rowanpaw's conversation. "That's not their mother," she spat, remembering her mother talking about the cats before. "Flurryheart just took the crippled and half-blind kits in when their real mother abandoned them," she chuckled, low enough that the adults wouldn't hear them talking. She looked back over at Wolfpaw. "I mean, what kind of warrior could he possibly make, Rowanpaw? Probably as bad of one as you. And Hollowpaw? She's clearly not meant to be a medicine-cat. Too bad she and Wolfpaw can't switch places," the she-cat mocked.
Ravenfall padded over to Coalflare. "Somethings wrong with Moondust. She's having a vision, but I can't pull her out of it. I think something's wrong." She hoped she was wrong, but...

Flamesoul was pulled from his internal thought process when Brightpaw spoke again. "Swimming..? I don't think that's a good idea..." he said, "It's against the rules."
Hollowpaw flinched, Twilightpaw's words stinging. She looked down, cowering a little. Wolfpaw tensed, narrowing his eyes when he saw his sister cower. He turned to Twilightpaw, ignoring his own hurt and forgetting his jealousy. "Being a warrior isn't all about being physically perfect. And if my sister wasn't meant to be a medicine cat, the spirits wouldn't have allowed her to have her healing capabilities."
Coalflare furrowed her 'eyebrows'. She gestured for Ravenfall to lead the way back to Moondust.

Brightpaw rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on. You're not going to let some stupid rule keep me from enjoying what very well may be my last day in the lower camp, are you?" she chuckled.
Twilightpaw grinned. "You wish." Rowanpaw growled, probably too loud because Zinniapetal was looking over. "Ignore her," he told the other apprentices. She's fox dung. She's not worth your time." Twilightpaw's facial expression seemed to hint that she liked that response, however.
The she-cats arrived back where they had split from the group to hunt. Moondust was in that same spot, frozen. Her eyes were wide, yet cloudy and unfocused; her gaze was not on anything surrounding them. She was clearly in another place mentally. "I've been calling to her forever. I've never not been able to pull a psychic cat out of a vision..." Ravenfall muttered, confused.
