Frostsplash was standing near the warriors den looking for his mate. He wanted to get out of camp and wanted her to go with him.

Pinefrost caught eye of Frostsplash across camp and waved her tail happily. The young she cat felt warmth in her chest when she saw him, even with all the gloom from the inner clan war and losing their daughter.

Frostsplash turned as he spotted movement from the corner of his eye. He purred as he spotted his mate and padded over. "Hey!"

"Hey! I was looking for you." The white cat brushed against Frostsplash, grinning. "It's so qmquiet without having to look after kits."

Frostsplash looked over at his mate. "You know, I kind of miss middle camp," he mewed, as if reading her thoughts, "it's so hot.."

Pinefrost purred "So do I. I never thought I would, but it was so much cooler there and it was pretty. But what I really miss is the mountains. The smell of the cool air too"

Pinefrost nodded, "maybe if we can reclaim the other two camps, I'd love for our kits to see the mountains. I hope Barkkit likes it there... I mean Barkpaw now huh?" Her ears drooped suddenly

Pinefrost purred " let's just head toward there then." She didn't feel like dealing with the heat either. The she cat headed towards the forest

Frostsplash purred and followed his mate into the forest. He padded in silence, unsure what to talk about but enjoying the comfortable silence anyway.

Pinefrost kept padding along. When she came across a rock the size of a pinecone, she kicked it, sending it skipping across the ground until it hit a young tree, leaving a dent. "I'm really proud of our sons and daughter. They're growing so fast."

"This life we have now." She blushed slightly as she spoke, her heart beating quicker than normal. "I know we didn't start of smoothly, or very romantically... But because of what we've done, we have four beautiful kits, we have each other, and that just makes all this clan stuff more bearable."
