Burningpaw winced at the blow and backed up. He had one last trick to pull and he felt a power surge within him. A fire sparked before Darkstar and burned at his fur around his throat, face, and muzzle. He, then, proceeded to run for his life, not even putting out the flames as they sparked along the leftover dry vines and weeds.
Turtle, I was thinking that Burningpaw could run into the Lower camp and revel Darkstar's plans as well as expose the spies, if the Upper camp cats know about them. He could cause chaos within the Lower camp for that moment.)

(Sorry Sum, the moment I touch Mass Effect Andromeda, I lose all concept of time and other activities) Palewhisper's tail twined around her legs, a sign of discomfort recognized only by those close enough to her. She knew that Bearclaw was close with Tundraclaw, yet there was something about the smoothness in his voice that left her unwilling to trust. In her eyes, the honeyed words were the most dangerous. However, she wasn't about to turn away just yet, no need to make herself look suspicious. "Bearclaw. Do you need something?" It's chill. I'm popping in now, but I'm gonna quote this and then not look at CC so that maybe- just maybe- I can remember to reply tomorrow. xD )

(Burningpaw, being only an apprentice, would know very little about Darkstar's plans, as they are mostly kept out of the loop. Only things like: they've moved into the Middle Camp to wage war- would be things he would know. And the Lower Camp is already aware so there's nothing for him to tell. He wouldn't know who the spies are, he could only guess, and since there are now sooo many Upper Camp cats that are in the Lower Camp, he wouldn't necessarily be able to make an accurate guess. There's also the problem of no one believing him, let alone trusting him. They'll suspect him of being a traitor and spy more than anything, as he has quite the reputation for being kind of rude and maybe bad.
But he can definitely make it to the Lower Camp after a troublesome, dangerous trip. Just remember not to godmod your character! He certainly can't fight off a full grown warrior, particularly not a leader that's vicious like Darkstar.)
Darkstar roared as he dodged Burningpaw's weak, pathetic attack, with ease, due to his strength and experience. The fire missed him, but it was clear Burningpaw's only intent was to distract him, which worked well as the apprentice took off running. "After him!" the leader demanded of his followers, in a deep growl. He didn't seem to take off after the tom, uninterested in chasing the fool. "Kill the traitor on sight," he ordered.

Ebonypaw turned to run after the apprentice. He'd attacked her father and that was not ok with her! Her pelt stung in the places she'd been burnt made running challenging.

I would have Bearclaw chase after him, but he's in a convo with Pale, and Batpaw would be scared of tripping over stuff while he's running. )
Bearclaw shook his head. "I don't need anything. Can't a cat just get to know his Clanmates?" It was true that he didn't know most of his Clanmates well. Most of the Upper Camp cats avoided him as an apprentice, and he only started talking with other warriors recently. He wasn't doing it to be social, though. He was doing it to see how they would act in battle. Some cats fight like they act, and the young warrior seemed to notice that, and he was using it to his advantage as much as he could. In the case of Palewhisper, though. He was scoping out the 'competition' for Tundraclaw. The younger tom didn't like Tundraclaw in a romantic way- just as a friend, but romance tended to distract cats from friendships, and he was seeing what was happening. Bearclaw seemed to be very casual- he was loose, ears flicking at noises, and he glanced around every so often, but his appearance was deceiving. He was on alert- as he always was. In this case, he was alert about Palewhisper's body language, phrasing, and tone, but the vicious tom was also alert about anyone threatening him.

Alright.)
Burningpaw spun around and set the leaves on the groind on fire. He sparked the branches and tried to create a wall of fire to distract those after him, at least for now. He ran and tripped, falling face first. He got up and shook himself before running off. He needed to get somewhere far away from here.

Cougarstripe licked his maw maliciously. Bloodlust in his eyes. Following Darkstar's orders, the tom whipped around and raced after Burningpaw. Quickly shifting into a large bird and soaring into the air to dodge the fire.

Palewhisper looked a little surprised by his statement, looking around nervously. As much as Bearclaw was trying to get a read on her, she was trying t do the same thing to him. He was on the younger side, but was definitely still larger than her. "I- well, I suppose so" she responded, not quite sure what to say. Really, idle conversation was not a strength of hers. "What do you think of this camp so far?"

"It's okay I guess, I miss the snow though" She told him honestly, trying not to look around for Tundraclaw. Really, she couldn't depend on him, especially if they wanted to keep their feelings a secret. In all honesty, she wouldn't have considered leaving the upper camp for a moment if it wasn't for Tundraclaw. With him, she was more than willing to accept the change.

Hey guys. I can have Russettooth chase after Burningpaw.)
Tundraclaw had noticed that Bearclaw was talking to Palewhisper, but he didn't think much of it. He ignored the semi-friendly situation and focused more on gathering a patrol. With all the racket that was currently going on with the escaping apprentice, setting up a patrol was a little challenging at the moment. Rolling an extremely annoyied gaze at the whole situation, Tundraclaw glanced in Russettooth's direction. "Go get him. Then come straight back here. Got it?" His tone was harsh and a bit condescending to the warrior, but he wasn't annoyed with Russettooth.
~~~
Russettooth nodded and left after Burningpaw. He could smell the fire infront of the camp, but it didn't last long. He barely even flinched when he barreled in after the traitorous coward. The large dark red tom saw Burningpaw as a target and nothing more, feeling raw instincts and bloodlust fuel his savage need to chase down the little tom. He did enjoy it, but he was also following orders.
Mint, Maybe Burningpaw should hide somewhere? I doubt a crippled apprentice would really be able to escape two full grown warriors. They are also on a time limit because of the patrol so they wouldn't have all day to look for him.)
Palewhisper was suddenly distracted from the conversation by shouts, curiously turning to see her mate yelling for Russettooth to go after Burningpaw, she had only caught the tail end of the situation, but couldn't help but feel confused. Wasn't he injured? How did he end up all the way out here? There were some smoldering leaves, but most fire was gone. She shook her head, wondering just what in the spirits that apprentice was thinking.
Fox dung! Palewhisper cursed inwardly as she realized that she had never come up with an excuse or joining the middle camp. Really, it wasn't like she could just outwardly say that she only did it to stay with Tundraclaw. Coming up with something on the spot, she told him "A change of pace I suppose"
That is true but, I want to continue the chase for now.)
Burningpaw barreled into the bushes and they tangled with his fur. He set fire to them, with a light spark of flame, and let them catch fire to the other bushes, nearby. They caught fire to the vines and weeds, sprouting even more and the flames became bigger. He ran, knowing the flames would spread and the warriors would have to stop to put it out or the fire might catch on the whole forest. He felt weak and tired, knowing that he couldn't use his powers anymore or he would die from the effort. There had to be someplace he could hide but, he didn't know where.
Palewhisper felt rather freaked out by his expression, but schooled her face to it's usual neutral expression. It shouldn't be a surprise, really. After all, it was no secret that most of the cats that joined up for the middle camp wanted to fight, she supposed she'd have to get used to the bloodthirsty attitudes around her. "It makes sense, there will be an abundance of fights this close to lower camp"
Russettooth quickly put out the small flames that were on the bushes. "Stupid apprentice. Leaving breadcrumbs." He muttered as he put his strong muscles to work and dashed after Burningpaw's trail. He came up on Flurrywhisper's flank with a deadly glint in his yellow gaze "Time to die, traitor." Russettooth snarled as he couldn't wait to slit Burningpaw's throat.
Cougarstripe looked down shifted as a bird, he could just about see Burningpaw in the distance. That little pest. The Shifter curled his lip into a snarl, soaring down and shifting into his original form. He raced after the apprentice, his strides long as he ate up the yards.
Seeing the rest of the cats begin to chase after Burningpaw, she left the conversation with Bearclaw to assist them.
Tundraclaw growled in annoyance as the rest of his patrol ran off to kill the traitorous apprentice. Did he give them permission to aid in the chase? No. He decided to follow them at the pace of a slow trot. These cats chasing the apprentice would have to be his patrol after they finish their job.
