(Sorry for poof! And of course, Gingy Yo Storm! Rp? ) Petalstorm nearly gasped. "Are you kidding? The last time we went hunting together we brought back prey that caused the sickness! Cats died! That's the opposite of a good team!" she exclaimed, voice riddled with nerves and panic. "Yeah," Rowanpaw agreed, "but that doesn't necessarily mean you do it so well," he explained. "If even half of what the clan is talking about, you'll be the best medicine cat this clan has ever seen!"

All four guesses are wrong, sorry!))
Airkit shrugged. "I don't really know..." She could see a hint of jealousy in Emberkit's eyes. "But, I don't think that leaving camp is a very big deal, though, so don't start getting upset if you can't go as well." She shuddered. Leaving camp hadn't given her a very good experience.

Hollowpaw tilted her head at him, thinking about what he said for a moment before sighing and looking down. "But I don't want to be the best! Almost being the best has pushed my brother away! After our parents left us, all we had was each other, even after Flurryheart took us in... and now he hates me..."

Rowanpaw snorted. "Wolfpaw is an idiot not to see that you being as talented as you are is for the clan. IF he doesn't see that...he's being selfish, thinking of himself. You have worked hard, Hollowpaw, and you deserve to be recognized for it. And if he doesn't want to...I will," Rowanpaw said with a sheepish grin, pressing just close enough to her so his fur touched hers.
Petalstorm nodded. "Sure. That sounds okay. But help me make sure none of the prey is infected first," she asked, looking closely at the prey in front of her.
Emberkit rolled his eyes at her. "I don't care about that-" he partially lied, since he was a little jealous, "but why would Indigoleaf be taking Soulkit out? Something is going on," he mentioned, looking to the tunnel where the two cats had exited. "Maybe we should follow them," he suggested.

Hollowpaw felt her ears get warm. She gave him a small smile, feeling a little bit better. She stayed close to him for only second though before she changed the subject, her attention being drawn to the assessment. "So how is Breezepaw doing?"

Breezepaw scrambled up the rocky slope. She got up and panted, but at least she hadn't fallen. She saw the herd in the distance, and as she rested a bit she quickly pinpointed one that was leaning on its side a little. She checked the wind and then sneaked towards a tall clump of grass near her target. Once there, she got into a crouch and then sprang towards the goat's back. Gripping its fur with her other paws, she quickly slashed its neck several times, and the poor innocent little goat crumpled. She glanced towards her judges, hoping they wouldn't detract from her score because she chose a weaker target.

Airkit hesitated slightly, "Well, I mean, if you really want to, then sure." She mewed, her eyes following after Indigoleaf and Soulkit. To be honest, she was quite curious as well.

{ Mistberry } She-Cat | 25 | No Power She is a very delicate, well-groomed, long-haired silver she-cat with black paws and emerald green eyes that almost always seem to be turned to the ground. She never speaks, feeling if she does, her past will come back to haunt her. Her past, of course, is mostly unknown, as she was once a rouge who stumbled upon the camp at only 9 moons old bleeding and covered in blood that was not her own. She has quite a few scars that betray what may have happened in her past, but she utilizes her long fur to cover them. She can often be seen grooming herself, as it is likely she uses this to keep herself calm, thus leading to her very well groomed appearance. She is a very fast learner, and was able to earn her Warrior name by 15 moons despite her recovery period and late start. She is a very kind cat despite her silence, and she loves playing with the kits in the camp, never passing up an opportunity to do so. These moments are likely the only ones in which she expresses herself freely, and she almost seems to revert back to being a kit herself when she does. Although she is a Warrior, she does not fancy fighting, or even hunting, but does so for her clan to show her ever-gratefulness to them for taking her in and helping her in a her moment of need. [ *`~Midnight~`* ] Upper Camp Warrior { Servalheart } Tom | 17 | Shifting He is a short-haired light tan bengal with pale green eyes, rounded ears, and ear tufts. His tail is naturally a bob-tail and he has very long legs. He has a very lazy, laid-back attitude, often getting on others nerves because when he is asked to do something, he will either not do it, or follow through with it at a very slow pace. Scoldings don't seem to have any effect on him whatsoever. However, he is very clever, and his control of his power shows that despite his lazy attitude, he does pay close attention. His favorite thing to shift into is a serval, which he can do fairly easily thanks to his appearance and does so often just for fun. His mother is a rouge. When she had him, it was the middle of leaf-bare and she didn't have the strength to take care of both him and herself, so she left him at the entrance of the camp when he was only three weeks old. [ *`~Midnight~`* ] Lower Camp Warrior { Ayla } She-Cat | 11 Moons | Illusions She is a small medium-furred black marble bengal. Her right eye is violet and her left eye is silver. Her fur pattern resembles that of a black jaguar, with the main fur color being black, and the marble pattern a darker black that can only be seen in the sun. She wears a chain link collar that has a few links hanging from it that were part of a chain leash. Her ears are rather torn and she has a kink near the tip of her tail where it broke and healed crooked. Despite her young age, she lives on her own on the streets, having escaped from some bad housefolk who kept her chained outside without food or water. Because of this, she was forced to grow up very quickly. She isn't very good at using her powers, but is able to create simple illusions such as an altered version of herself. These illusions are typically created instinctively when she is in danger, so she doesn't have very much control over them. Although she feigns loving to be on her own, she will often sit on windowsills and watch the people inside, wishing she could join them, but she is too afraid to approach humans. She has a very timid personality, hating the idea of approaching other cats just as much as humans. However, if she is pushed into a fight, she can be quite merciless. The only cat she really trusts is her friend Spock, though she is even weary of him at times. [ *`~Midnight~`* ] Loner { J. Kirk } Tom | 34 Moons | Invulnerability He is a cream tabby tom with a white underbelly and legs. His tabby stripes are pale ginger in color and the stripes on his tail look more like rings. He is nearly flawless in appearance and he knows it, often strutting about on his fence. His collar is greenish-gold in color and the name-tag is shaped like the starfleet logo. His honey-brown eyes betray his cunning and determined nature, though he has a propensity to become too determined, often being the one to provoke, confront, and have a reason to fight. He is very protective of his territory, which is of course his human's backyard, challenging any cat who enters. Though he fights very often, his power of invulnerability is what keeps his appearance nearly flawless. He doesn't remember his mother or his siblings, as he was given away at a very young age. He does however, see Spock, the other cat in the house, as a brother, and values his opinions and advice. His humans are obviously big fans of Star Trek. [ *`~Midnight~`* ] Kittypet { Spock } Tom | 34 Moons | Mind Control He is a medium-haired solid black tom with deep, dark brown eyes and very long pointy ears. His collar is blue and the name-tag is shaped like the starfleet logo. He has a very logical point of view, not seeing why anything illogical is worth doing. However, this kind of view can lead to him ignoring gut instincts and even his own need to show strong emotions. Despite all this, he can have quite an attitude in his own, logic filled kind of way. Unlike Kirk, he is not one to pick a fight, and tries his hardest to avoid them. If confronted, he typically uses his memory manipulation to dissuade his opponent from wanting to fight, though he is capable of defending himself physically very well. Spock has some memories of his mother and father. His mother was very kind and loving, and his father was a rouge and was very hard on him. Spock sees Kirk as his best friend, and looks up to him, though he will never admit it. He is friends with Ayla, often trying to convince her that humans are not all bad. His humans are obviously big fans of Star Trek. [ *`~Midnight~`* ] Kittypet (The characters I have created are meant to be pets with similar characteristics of existing characters and were thus named by the pet owners. They are not them and are merely based off of them. All rights go to the original creator.)(Just in case)(though I don't think it's at all necessary )

Moondust padded over to Mysticsoul, and motioned for Spiritvoid to follow. "So...do you want to try now?" she questioned quickly. "We will be your 'buddies' to make sure you stay safe," she added, recalling what Aurorastar said.
Indigoleaf stepped outside the dark cave with Soulkit; the light was bright around them, reflecting off the few remaining snow patches which were almost completely melted at this point in Newleaf. Waterfall Pool shimmered in front of them, and the sound of the waterfall was loud, but pleasant. "Come look into the pool, and tell me what you see," she requested of Soulkit. She led the way to a jutted rock, a good spot to look down into the water, a flat surface that was safe. Many cats had stood there before, or fished. The water started out very clear, but was only that way for a handful of tail-lengths; below it became dark, nearly pitch-black. The bottom could not be seen. To these cats, and only the Death Cats, this water called; currently, it was doing so. Cats could not explain it, but it existed. Deep within the waters, their power enabled them to feel the death rising from it. Despite the darkness, this pool was beautiful to many cats, and even to Indigoleaf, still. Despite what she knew this pool held. I'll edit this down from the original length later, I'm on a phone. ) Mysticsoul flicked her tail and looked at Spiritvoid and Moondust. "Sure. Whenever you're ready." Soulkit followed Indigoleaf, looking down into the water. Not just because Indigoleaf had told him but because he felt it calling to him. "D-darkness. All there is under the clear. Feels like darkness is calling." He looked up at Indigoleaf. "Is it?"

(Hey srry I haven't been on crazy week. Lol Midnight of course those are your characters! Ha, I love em though! Added the other day Can Mistberry be Twilightpaw's mentor?? That would be fun, giving the rotten Twilightpaw a young mentor who is doing it for her first time, who also has a VERY different personality. Twilightpaw would have absolutely no respect for Mistberry. ) Emberkit smiled, pressing against the cave-wall, crouched down, following along the farthest wall so they may go unnoticed by the cats left in camp.
Moondust nodded, waiting for Spiritvoid to take the lead; she had little understanding of the death cats and their powers. More than cats with other powers, since they both had close connections with the spirits, but still, little knowledge.
"Yes. Look harder," she requested of him. "This is more than just a dark place." Indigoleaf waited for evidence that the little kit could see what she was seeing...Unlike the other death cats, she saw something else in this pool, something more; trapped spirits, deep down, unable to leave the dark water. But these spirits weren't like the ones they usually encountered; they appeared as dead cats would, their physical bodies...decomposing, just a whisp of a soul, and tortured. She had long realized Soulkit was different, and suspected that he may have the same deeper sight of the spirit realm around her as she did. Ever since she was a kit she had seen these spirits, the ones the others couldn't see. Would Soulkit be the same?
Petalstorm, angry, snapped, "I"m not leaving camp until I'm done! I've got to make sure all the prey is safe to eat- more cats could die!" What was wrong with Redhawk? He had to know how important it was to make sure no one else would die...They had already lost so many cats.
Rowanpaw's eyes widened at Breezepaw's vicious, amazing attack. "Apparently pretty good..." Sharpear was surprised; Breezepaw had more than proven herself to him. Echoheart was shocked, and frozen for a minute. It was rare for a cat to be able to take down a mountain goat-kit on their own, even a weak, small goat-kit like that one. Despite it's small size, it was still large in comparison to Breezepaw. She shook her head though. "What were you thinking? The point of this task is to prove your teamwork," she said to her apprentice sharply. "You could have gotten hurt. There was no need to do that!"

(Of course Mistberry can mentor Twilightpaw. That sounds like it would be rather interesting since she doesn't speak. But the personality difference sounds like it'll be a lot of fun to go through.)
Spiritvoid led them to a more private area of the camp before sitting down. He waited for them to get situated before closing his eyes and attempting to call out to the Spirits.
Hollowpaw's eyes were squinted as she watched Breezepaw, and her eyes grew huge when she saw the apprentice take down the goat. She looked over at Rowanpaw, an astonished look on her face. Wolfpaw was staring at Breezepaw as if she had just committed an atrocity.

(CAN'T WAIT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!!! Maybe Mistberry can be with the assessment group then ) Rowanpaw nodded at Echoheart's words. "Yeah," he whispered to Hollowpaw, "Probably too dangerous. Of course, the upper camp will eat good today!" he exclaimed, thinking back to the fish she caught as well, and the rest of the prey to come. "You haven't had mountain-goat yet, have you?" he asked Hollowpaw...She had been down at the lower camp longer than she had been at home in the upper camp, honestly. Sharpear stepped forward. "Bravery should never be overlooked, Echoheart." He looked to Breezepaw, tilting his head as he thought. "Well done." He padded off, calling over his shoulder, "Wolfpaw! Help her carry it down the mountain," he ordered. Echoheart lashed her tail, ignoring Sharpear's words. She motioned to Breezepaw to go take up the task of carrying the large animal.
Emberkit was amazed and surprised when they managed to sneak into the dark tunnel without being spotted; of course, they didn't have a mother watching them anymore, so...It wasn't that hard. His eyes were blinded as they reached the outside. "It's so bright!" he gasped.
