Raindrop padded outside of the warrior's den, passing Oceanbreeze. "Why is the den so empty?" she asked, wondering where all the cats had gone in the middle of the night. Rosefoot's temporary nest was cold, along with several others.

(Gotcha! And that last post is for you Thistlefoot was hard at work in the medicine den replacing old bedding. "Good, glad you're here," he choked when the two she-cats walked in. "I'm getting worst and I don't want to be near the herbs and other cats. Let's not let this spread, if it's contagious," he told them, then coughed.

"Of course it's still good!" Delphapool exclaimed. "But, maybe the kits or the elders, or you should eat it..." She mewed.

(Welcome Storm)
Wolfpaw stopped, moving away from Twilightpaw quickly and turning to face Sharpear, his eyes wide. "I-I..." he trailed off, not sure how to respond.
Flurryheart up at Moondust, having been praying silently for her sons. She blinked quickly, bringing herself back from her thoughts. "What is it Moondust?" Her voice was quiet.
Hollowpaw was just about to go into the medicine cat den, a small fish in her mouth, when she overheard the older medicine cats talking. She had noticed the sickness as well, but wasn't sure how serious it was.
Coalflare stopped at the edge of the Meadow.

Snakefang- male |37 moons| Poison A black tom with white paws, chest, and ears. A white diamond-shape is on his back in the middle. There is also a white spot on the bridge of his nose. His eyes are dark amber. The male's nose and pawpads are black. His build is large and muscular. Snakefang's fur is medium in length. Snakefang is impatient and hot-headed, often snapping at cats that irritate him the slightest, and hurling out insults. He is a loner, and prefers to keep to himself than hang out with others. Snakefang is cunning and intelligent, often using his trickery to his advantage. He is dishonest, and loves to make up lies to cover up what he does in secret, fooling others to believe him. The Tom can convince others to take his side in arguments, and is quite attractive. He likes to flirt with the ladies and hang them, although he isn't looking for a full mate or kits. He is manipulative and breaks hearts after a while. The masculine is secretive and selfish, putting his own needs before everyone elses' and only helped others for his personal gain. It is possible for him to change if he truly met that special someone. His sisters are Snowfeather and Oceanbreeze. [ Stormheart123 ] Middle Camp Warrior OTHER: I liked the first post.
For the contest:
Necromancy: They can summon and control skeletons and decomposing bodies of cats who have passed to their own will. The summoned creatures can do their bidding and will never turn against their masters. It takes a lot of concentration to control multiple bodies at once and drains much energy. They can also control bodies of dead prey and predators, which is easier.
Rock manipulation: These cats can control rocks and use them as deadly weapons, flinging them and growing them with their minds. They can also form the rocks into blades and cause avalanches and cave-ins. Forming mountains, caves, and cliffs is also possible, but weakens them extremely bad and can even kill the cat making it.

Melanism This power is a form of darkness but rather than manipulating the shadows, these cats manipulate themselves. They can turn their fur varying shades of black to blend in to shadows. They are also able to darken their fur color if they are cold which will help warm them as the dark color absorbs more energy. Kits begin showing this power as early as a few weeks old by darkening their fur color. These cats are comfortable in all three camps are great for night patrols. Names correlate to darkness.

(Looks awesome Storm!)
Twilightpaw grinned. "I mean, he's the first apprentice to hold me off so well. Clearly he's doing something right," she remarked, sticking up for Wolfpaw, pressing her fur against his. "I fight hard."
Raindrop chuckled nervously. "I doubt that." But she nodded, realizing Oceanbreeze was right in her attitude and that there was no reason to worry.
Moondust looked around cautiously, and upon noticing all the cats nearby, she motioned to the leader's den. "Can we talk in private?" she asked.
"No," Oaktree responded, "You're injured and need to eat to get better. Besides, no one else wanted it, that's why it was left. Most cats don't like eggs that much, myself included," he added with a funny look at the egg. "They don't taste that great."
Thistlefoot groaned, "Try what?" in his usual grumpy voice. He was busy rolling up old bedding.

Thistlefoot snorted. "Don't waste energy on me. Focus on the other cats first," he ordered.
Oaktree nodded, getting ready to bend down to eat when Petalstorm came running through camp. "DONT EAT THE EGGS AND CHICKS!" she was screaming. Oaktree blinked.

Wolfpaw gulped nervously, but stood a little straighter. He honestly didn't have a clue what to say. He knew his old mentor had taught him better.
Flurryheart nodded and led the way to her den, standing aside to let Moondust enter first before following. She sat down and curled her tail around her paws, waiting for Moondust to speak.
Hollowpaw was listening so intently to Cloverrain that she jumped into the air when Petalstorm yelled, her fur standing on end.

Delphapool shot up, but quickly sat back down after she remembered that she had hurt her ribs. "Whew! That scared me!" She exclaimed, letting out a sigh. "Are there chicks in the eggs, that are about to hatch?" She yelled out to Petalstorm. Chicks were cute, is what she did have to admit.

Petalstorm looked to the medicine-cats as she entered the den in a rush. "It's the eggs!" she screeched. Thistlefoot raised an eyebrow at the she-cat, waiting for her to explain. "Yesterday Redhawk and I caught the eggs and gull. In one nest there were dead chicks. I didn't think about it then, but clearly all the gull eggs are bad! Maybe all the eggs on the cliff are!" she concluded, sounded scared and guilt-ridden. "It has to be what made cats sick in the night!" The only reason she knew if the sickness was that she had led Rosefoot to the medicine-den last night. And as she noticed more cats heading that way..."It's my fault cats are getting sick!" she cried.
Moondust's eyes were glazed, and she was covered in dirty, scruffy fur that had clearly not been washed in a day. "I..." she trailed off, staring Flurryheart right in the eye. "I've had a vision. A vision of something very, very bad..." she admitted, voice sounding small and frightened.
Sharpear considered that. "Fair enough. Twilightpaw is a strong fighter. She has to be since she has no powers to rely on...Now, if you only you could learn not to depend on your powers, perhaps we can make a strong warrior out of you," he contended to Wolfpaw, eyeing the young tom with a calculating gaze. "Gosh, you are so lucky," Twilightpaw breathed in an excited tone to Wolfpaw. Sharpear was a legendary mentor, having trained some of the very best warriors in the clan.
Raindrop nodded to Oceanbreeze, eager at the idea of going for a swim in now shark-free waters, but was stopped when Petalstorm went parading through camp yelling on her way to the medicine-den. "What is that about?" she mentioned to Oceanbreeze and a nearby Oaktree and Delphapool. Oaktree snatched the egg away from Delphapool. "Thank the spirits! What if you had ate that?! Is that what is making the cats sick?" he wondered. What would have happened to Delphapool if she had ate the eggs? Could she have gotten sick as well. Then he blinked, nervous. "Oh no! What if the kits ate an egg?" He looked to Oceanbreeze and Raindrop, unsure if they had any idea if the kits had some.

Oceanbreeze surveyed the scene. "Who knows?" She remarked to Raindrop. When Oaktree asked her the question, she shook her head. "I didn't see the kits eat any, and I am with them a lot," she replied.

Delphapool's eyes widened. "Oh my...it's great that you didn't eat it either, Oaktree." She tried to keep calm, worried for the other cats and kits. "We should stil go check the nursery! Who knows what could happen if the kits aren't checked quickly! They still could have gotten some eggs!" She scooted across the ground.

Hollowpaw slunk into the den at that point.
Flurryheart's interest peaked, her full attention on Moondust now.
"Then why do I feel so unlucky..." Wolfpaw grumbled back quietly.

Raindrop snorted. "You don't watch the kits at all, Oceanbreeze," she remarked. "You'd rather watch your own tail," she said honestly. She padded over to the nursery with Oaktree, calling to Finchsong. "Did the kits eat any eggs or chicks yesterday or today?" she asked the queen. "It's very important, they could get sick."
Sharpear was already making his way out of the training-cave back to the Upper Campsite, and Twilightpaw purred at Wolfpaw. "Don't be silly. You're going to become the best warrior. It's for the best; I heard Rowanpaw mentioning to Hollowpaw the other day that she would make a great warrior. If that idiot thinks that a cat like your sister can be a warrior, then you've got work to do," she said seriously. "But you'll get there."
Moondust sighed. "Our spirits- the ones that aid us, the ones that support our clan- have been pushed out of their home. Bad cats have taken over...evil ones," she tried to explain. "For awhile, I wanted to believe this was just false beliefs on my part, misinterpreting my visions. But now I'm bombarded by visions non-stop, dreams interrupting my sleep. They're trying to scare me. They've been coming into Clearpaw's dreams as well. And I'm sure other cats with our power are probably having the same issues, but not believing them, like I did," she tried to explain.
Petalstorm shook her head. "I should have known not to collect the eggs after seeing those chicks!" she shrilled, clearly upset. "What if Rosefoot dies?" Zinniapetal interjected, "No cats will. This isn't that bad yet. We can stop it before it gets worst," she swore. Thistlefoot was looking directly at Hollowpaw, thinking deeply.
