Cloverrain laid her tail on the apprentices' back. "He'll be ok. But he'll be sore for a bit. Sit with him and keep him still for a while ok?" she mewed gently

Hollowpaw could only nod numbly as she stared down at her adopted brother, who now looked as if he was asleep. Flurryheart nuzzled her son, murmuring thanks to Cloverrain over and over.

"Of course," Cloverrain purred softly. It was clear she was tired. "Just doing my job. Keep an eye on him ok?" The brown and ginger tabby shecat looked around for her next patient. she padded to Waterrush and healed her wounds.

Hollowpaw laid her ears back. "It's my job too..." she thought to herself, crestfallen, "and I couldn't do it..." She stood straight, looking toward Cloverrain. She tilted her head to the side as she realized how tired the she-cat looked, yet she kept on despite it. "I should be more like her..." Hollowpaw then looked toward Flurryheart, who was still by Flamesoul, and still injured. She padded around her brother to Flurryheart and touched her nose to her shoulder. "You're still hurt... let me help you?" It was more of a question, as if she was afraid to help her mother without first gaining consent. Flurryheart looked over at Hollowpaw, her eyes cold for a moment, then guilt ridden as she realized what she had felt for her adopted daughter, even if only for a second. She hesitantly held her paw out to Hollowpaw so she could inspect it, watching as it was healed. She tested it gently afterward, extending it carefully, then murmured a quiet thanks to Hollowpaw.

(Hey guys sorry I haven't been on work has been tiring)
Brightpaw was sitting back anxiously, nervous and scared. She did see Hollowpaw's face though, her expression. She chose not to say anything; how could she? She had no clue how to talk to Hollowpaw about any medicine-cat stuff. Zinniapetal seemed to think Hollowpaw knew it all, that she was already trained, and a leader of the clan. But it seemed Hollowpaw didn't believe in herself...
Thistlefoot followed after Cloverrain. "Good healing, being as tired as you are," he noted. Thistlefoot had been Cloverrain's mentor way back, just as he had been Zinniapetal's, and still looked to the she-cat fondly, as he did all his apprentices.
Darknight spoke to Flurryheart as she passed by. "Sorry to hear about your son getting hurt," he murmured somewhat bitterly. He lost three kits...yet hers was healed, of course. And Aurorastar didn't have children, so she couldn't understand...
"Not yet. Practice makes perfect," Oaktree told her, helping her stand so they could travel back to the lower camp, where Delphapool would have to stay. "You know, there's more kits in the lower camp right now, Finchsong's. I'm sure they'll keep you busy with questions, and asking for stories from the middle camp," he reminded.

(It's alright. You don't have to be sorry about that. Work is tiring. It's a fact that cannot be changed.)
After healing Flurryheart, Hollowpaw padded off, looking for other cats to help, her head and tail low. She had let her inexperience get the best of her. Flurryheart gazed after Hollowpaw, feeling a sting in her heart. Her attention was drawn away from the apprentice medicine cat when Darknight spoke to her. She looked to him, noting the bitterness in his voice. Her eyes narrowed for a moment, but she simply gave him a curt nod of acknowledgement before turning to Brightpaw. "Stay with him please. I need to check on the others."

(Unfortunately! ) Brightpaw nodded, though that was certain. She wondered if he was comfortable enough here for the time being, too tired to move. Maybe she could find Violetbreeze to teleport him back to camp...She licked his cheek, sitting beside him quietly. (Want to to Twilightpaw and Wolfpaw?)

Delphapool gave Oaktree a quiet thanks as he helped her get up. "True, so I guess I won't have to worry about that!" She chuckled.

Flamesoul stayed the way he was, no sign that he had even felt the lick, but he did, and if he had the energy to purr, he would have.
(Sure.)

"Hey, Hollowpaw, do you think that this cu-" she suddenly realized Hollowpaw had padded off. Breezepaw searched for the apprentice and noticed how... collapsed he looked. She hurried after Hollowpaw. "Er, hi. You okay?" Hollowpaw was obviously not okay but Breezepaw wasn't sure what else to say.

(Okay, I am soooooo confused about this candy thing! What are we supposed to do???)
Brightpaw watched her Breezepaw go after Hollowpaw, glad.
Oaktree chuckled at the she-cat. "Are you sure you're okay to walk? I'm sure we could go find a cat to teleport you..." he murmured, searching around. They were certainly busy moving the most injured cats, but Delphapool was injured pretty badly too, he thoguht...
Twilightpaw caught up with Wolfpaw outside of the apprentice's den. "Are you just going to stare at your paws all day?" she questioned bluntly, voice smooth and slow as she circled around him so he could see her. The she-cat's tail brushed in front of his face, just barely touching his muzzle.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," Delphapool smiled. She wondered why Oaktree worried so much. How kind of him. She wondered that if he got hurt, she'd do the same. "There are many others who need more help first. I can wait...Or you could just go on ahead first."

"No way," Oaktree scoffed. "I'm with you all the way." As they walked, he let her lean into him each step. "You had me really scared, Delphapool," he told her honestly, looking at the ground as they walked, nerves prickling at him.

Delphapool paused for a second, "Well...if you really want to." She stared at the tom. He looked nervous. She started to wonder if he was terrified of her crumpling onto the ground and never getting back up. "Haha. You were, Oaktree? To be honest, I was worried for you as well!"

Oaktree: "Why?" he asked. "I wasn't even there long...I wasn't even supposed to be in the battle, I wasn't in the forefront!" he reminded. "Just there to help at the end."
(Rp Airkit?)
Echoheart noticed Airkit sitting alone in the upper camp. The wind-powered cat looked to the kit, wondering what she was thinking. She padded over to the she-kit. "Why are you all alone?" she asked. Was she missing her adoptive mother? Or Cavekit and Hailkit?

Sure))
Airkit sat alone, not noticing Echoheart coming over until she spoke. The kit turned towards the she cat, about to answer her question. "I don't know. Cavekit and Hailkit aren't here, so I'm bored." She squeaked.

Delphapool giggled, "Well, you know at the end? When the shark flopped around, throwing a few cats off of it? What if you were also flung off like me? Then you could have broke a few bones as well." She mewed.

"You don't play with Emberkit?" the she-cat asked, surprised. Echoheart had known that Cavekit and Hailkit had picked on Emberkit for his powers being so different, but figured that Airkit and Emberkit were friends.
Oaktree shrugged. "I'd do it any day," he spoke. When they arrived at camp, he settled her in a sunny spot in the middle of camp, the sand sticking to her fur and seaweed wrap. "Ugh, this is why I HATE this camp. I'm going to go see what prey I can catch. Any requests?"

(Sorry for the poof. Took my dogs to get their shots for the first time in years.)
Hollowpaw glanced over at Breezepaw. "I'm fine... just... disappointed in myself," she meowed quietly.
Wolfpaw blew air out his nose harshly, turning his head away from Twilightpaw's tail. "So what if I am..."

(No worries. Really? Are they puppies?)
"Borrrrrrrringggggggg," Twilightpaw moaned. "Let's go out hunting," she asked of him. "No use waiting for your loser sister to come back. Unless you think Rowanpaw has any interest in hunting with you. He only hangs out with you to be near Hollowpaw," she quickly added.

(Nope. They're seven. But money's been tight until now so we finally were able to take them.)
Wolfpaw sighed, but stood. "I guess it's better than doing nothing," he muttered, not saying anything about his sister being called a loser.

(No judgement here, but that's not very safe maybe having pets isn't a good idea unless you do have money to take care of them... I mean, I spend nearly $200 a month on my three birds... But I'm happy they're getting their shots now that's great!!!) Twilightpaw smirked. "Wonderful. Let's go." She led the young tom out, the bright light nearly blinding outside, coming from the dark cave.

(No I understand. We did have money when we got them but stuff happened. They did have their rabies shots, just not the other two they needed.)
Wolfpaw squinted his eyes against the sunlight, blinking hard as his eyes adjusted.

"Where do you want to go?" Twilightpaw offered him the choice, waiting for his decision before heading away from the cave.

Delphapool let out a light oomph as she settled in the spot, and chuckled, "Hmm....maybe a minnow or two? I for you, and one for me!" she grinned cheerfully. She adjusted her position a bit.

"Pshh," Twilightpaw huffed. "Maybe you need to step outside your comfort zone...let's go to The Peak," she mentioned with another smirk. "I bet we can take down an eagle, if it's small," she added, knowing it wasn't entirely realistic.
"I'll do better than that," Oaktree told her, puffing out his chest. Plus, he needed to bring back as much prey as possible, to feed the tired and injured cats that would quickly fill the lower camp.
Echoheart: "Why don't we play then, little one? I'm anxious to see how your powers are coming along; certainly you're almost ready for your apprenticeship, yes?" the she-cat questioned kindly.
