Things that were popular in the 90s/00s? I personally am so grateful to have been born in 2000, since that way I was able to grow up enjoying some great things. I felt like making a nostalgic thread, so feel free to share your memories! List of things that were alive during the 90s/00s (feel free to add in what I'm missing, but please only things from 1990 - 2007; things after 07 aren't quite old enough to be nostalgic imo and I doubt many people here were around/old enough to remember the 80s): Pokemon Ren & Stimpy Courage the Cowardly Dog Hey Arnold! Rugrats Doug Blues Clues Clifford Fairly OddParents Spongebob Jimmy Neutron Danny Phantom Wizards of Waverly Place Hannah Montana That's So Raven High School Musical Camp Rock Invader Zim Drake and Josh iCarly Webkinz NES/SNES/N64/GameCube/Wii Xbox/Xbox 360 PS1/2/3 Game Boy, Color, Advance, DS, DSi, etc. The first smartphones The start of social media The Sims Old computers (Windows XP, anyone?) Courage the Cowardly dog he needs to be up there that show gave me life. Looking back some of that stuff was messed up. Especially the episode where the cousin or something comes and visits and has the hair fetish, and when he tries to shave Courage or whatever the sound of children laughing just plays...

Allow me, the walking/talking A:TLA wiki, to step in. Aang and Katara. Yes I ship them also. Excellent. And Momo means peaches in Japanese. My OTP is in The Legend of Korra, though.

90s kid here. I remember.... Shows: Huggabug Club The Big Comfy Couch KidsongsWishbone Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood Bill Nye The Science Guy Animaniacs ZoomPowerpuff Girls Arthur Dragon Tales Between the Lions Zaboomafoo Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat Pokemon (was around when the craze first hit the US) Redwall (though my dad insisted I was too young and made me stop watching it) CardcaptorsGeneration O!Cyberchase Recess Toys: -Furby (mine looked like this) - Poo-Chi, a robotic dog - Skip-It (toy that went around your ankle and you spin it around your foot and hop over it with the other foot every time it comes around. It would count how many times it went around) -Polly Pocket (the actual tiny playsets that could theoretically fit in a pocket, not the "Fashion Polly" with the rubbery clothes they came out with later) -Pound Puppies playsets (I had two and this one was the best) -Barbies -I had a Dinky Dino, which was basically a Tamagotchi Computers/Technology: - Commodore 128 (the cpu was inside the keyboard!)(admittedly this computer was older than me) - Windows 95 and 98 - Dial-up internet, the sound it made every time you connected to the internet, and having to get off the internet to be able to use the phone - General Mills had a cool site called You Rule School - the original Gameboy, though I didn't own one; my first one was a Gameboy Color. I remember how amazing it was to have a Gameboy Advance SP that had a backlight!!! and even more importantly, a rechargeable battery so that I didn't have to keep saving up to buy AA batteries!!!! - no cell phones - Cassette tapes - VHS and having to rewind. Also, my parents usually wouldn't let me own a movie until it was being showed on TV and we could record it - Bringing handheld CD players to school - Hit clips. They were these little things that you could stick a little cartridge into to play music. Each cartridge had part of one song - that's right, not even the full song. They were also quite expensive for how much you get out of it. Other: - Harry Potter first becoming big - Pokemon cards were so hard to find - Slap bracelets - Glow-in-the-dark stuff was so popular - So was glitter - I always thought this Fruit Gushers commercial was creepy - Bubble Yum gum came in SO many flavors. Watermelon was the best and I'm sad I can't find that flavor anywhere now, just original bubble gum. Strawberry was good too. - That's when Wonder Ball, Ring Pops, and Baby Bottle Pop became popular

Did anyone read Goosebumps? I was obsessed with those things when I was little. I also remember when the Choose Your Own Adventure books were like all anybody read.

I only read a couple Goosebumps books. When I was in elementary school I was obsessed with Animorphs. (Also, after Animorphs, Goosebumps never seemed all that scary.)
