Jump in clan! (open)

“Morning.” Beewhisker said returning the smile. It slowly faded into a more serious look. “How are you doing?” She asked with a look of sympathy as she thought about Dewfur.

Thunderfoot twitched his tail as Vultureflight didn’t answer. He felt a hint of fear spread through him as he wondered if there was any hope for the two of them. He shifted in his nest and laid his head down seeming unsettled.

(I’ll try my best to explain all that’s happened xD

Ok so first off the clan is named Viperclan. So first off, Goosestar has recently passed and Adderstar has taken his place. Adderstar is a strict and cold kind of leader so a good group of our cats aren’t exactly enjoying him leading them (so far this is Beewhisker, Littletree, Feathershine, and Whitefox). There’s also a bit of an illness going around. Dewfur, Rabbitface’s mate, just died of it (they have one young kit named Cloudkit), and Thunderfoot and Whitefox are still sick. Beewhisker and Littletree found an orphan kit on their hunting trip. Her name is Dawn and they took her back to camp to be seen by Feathershine (he’s the medicine cat).

Then Adderstar visited them and said that Dawn could stay but with strict terms and the moment she messed up she would be exiled. Beewhisker got angry and argued with him for a while, he threatened to exile her as well. Adderstar left but declared that Dawn would be exiled once she reached 6 moons old. Beewhisker said she’d leave too then. After that, Feathershine went to try and talk some sense into Adderstar, the two argued for a bit. Feathershine came back to the den and found out Dewfur had died. He felt guilty and went out on a walk. NOTE: Dawn herself was asleep for pretty much all of this so she has no clue yet.

We skipped to the next morning after everyone fell asleep. Beewhisker slept in the medicine cat den with Dawn, Thunderfoot and Whitefox. Feathershine was still missing in the morning. He actually went to go talk to Starclan about why Adderstar was leader but no one knows this. Beewhisker went ahead to show Dawn around the camp and also talk to an elder, Vultureflight, who trained as a medicine cat apprentice for a while so he could take over until Feathershine’s return.

He’s doing so now and Beewhisker has shown Dawn the elder’s den, warrior’s den, and is taking her over to the nursery currently but stopped to talk with Rabbitface and Cloudkit along the way. )

“Morning Lionyowl. Morning Firefur.” Cloudysong called from where she sat besides Acornfall and Dovestorm. She waved her tail at the two brothers and stretched out her front legs. Acornfall glanced over at the other warriors and mumbled a greeting. The reddish tom sighed. “Camp is sure lively today.” He muttered.

Acornfall looked at the two and snorted softly. “Did you two rehearse that?” He joked with a grumble. Cloudysong chuckled a bit and gave her white pelt a couple licks. “What are you two up to?"

“He sounds stubborn.” Acornfall commented with a shake of his head. Cloudysong smiled and shrugged her shoulders. “I think it’s good he hasn’t given up... Feathershine’s probably due for an apprentice sometime soon. I think it’d be nice for him to have the help."

Beewhisker gave a small nod and glanced down at the kit. “This is Rabbitface and his daughter, Cloudkit. You’ll probably see a lot of them since you’ll be staying in the nursery.” She explained, nodding to the den. “I’ll have to get some moss to make you a nest later.” She thought aloud.

“Feathershine still hasn’t returned so they got Vultureflight to step in for a bit...” Thunderfoot rasped. He sighed and shifted in his nest. “I guess he was a medicine cat apprentice before.."

Rabbirface glanced towards the nursery also. "Im going on patrol soon also." He meowed quietly. Cloudkit and Dawn played while the adults chatted. "I don't think Gingercloud will mine much." He added quietly. Rabbitface sighed. "But if i really had to i can watch them."

Whitefox looked the herbs over. His stomach was aching but he wanted to get better, for his mothers sake. He quickly add the herbs. They tasted ten times worst then the ones Feathershine gave. He cringed at the taste. Vultureflight whatched the two with narrowed eyes.

Featherflight sighed and flopped onto his side.

Dawn gave a small nod and got to her feet gently nuzzling Cloudkit off of her. "I will be right back ok." Cloudkit gave a small nod and went back to playing with her moss ball. Rabbitface watched Beewhisker. He sighed and began cleaning the dust off of Cloudkit.

Vultureflight chuckled. "Some herbs." Whitefox laid his head back on the side of the nest. He actually felt a little better.

Dawn nodded her eyes wide. "Ok." Nervousness made the kits whiskers twitch. Dawn looked over to Cloudkit and back at Beewhisker. "What does he look like." She asked nervously. This Adderstar sounded like a scary tom. Her mom had always said to stay away from snakes. Cloudkit caught Dawns look. She looked up at her father then back over to her new friend.

"They will." Vultureflight rasped. "They worked when i was a apprentice they will work now." Vultureflight. Whitefox yawned.

Dawn nodded. "O-ok." Sat quietly as she watched Rabbitface and Beewhisker padded away. Cloudkit them came up. "Come on!" She squeak. The small white she-cat padded towards the nursery. Dawn got to her paws and followed Cloudkit. "I can help you make your nest!" She squeaked. Dawn giggled and glanced around. She then noticed Adderstar watching her from the shadows.

Vultureflight turned towards Thunderfoot. "I may be old, but i still have a sharp mind." Whitefox fell asleep.

Beewhisker padded along quietly afterwards. She scented the air for signs of any prey or predator. She moved quickly through the territory.

Two apprentices made their way over to the nursery. “Oh look Sootpaw! It is true! There’s a new kit.” Exclaimed the smaller brown tabby tom known as Eaglepaw. Sootpaw, a gray tabby she-cat, nodded in agreement to her brother. “I guess so..” She mused quietly.

Acornfall looked at the two kits as they came bounding over. He sighed and stepped off to the side to give the warriors and kits room to play.

Beewhisker glanced around, things seemed quiet enough. She was glad the territory seemed safe. The last thing they needed was an issue outside the clan.

“Hey Cloudkit! You’re sure energetic today.” Eaglepaw chuckled. “Must be because of your new friend over there... She sure is small...” He added as he flickered his amber gaze over to Dawn. Sootpaw cuffed her brother’s ear and gave him a shake of her head. “Don’t be rude Eaglepaw.” She meowed as she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws.
