The Gemini Twins "We don't hang out with anyone and we certainly won't hang out with you." (also fting Sagittarius) ⇀↠ 〤 ↞↼
Ones whom were to stay up late were rarely early risers, and yet, here the twins were, their blue eyes having that cat-like reflection in them as they awoke to the quiet world around them. They were almost always the first to wake up in the mornings, no matter what day it was. It was like their own little tradition to be the first ones up. The rare times that one of them got sick was the only time that they got up after the sun had risen. It was rare indeed, to see one of the twins sick, much less, any of the other zodiacs sick for that matter. Their Celestial blood made them prone to be more immune than the average human with viruses and bacteria that might try to invade their bodies.
"I've forgotten," the elder one murmured as he sat up, the thin white sheet covering his chest, the cool crisp morning air hitting his bare skin. It wasn't unusual for the window to be open, as the sounds of the nature around them tended to lull them both to sleep with more ease than that of the sound of a city or, heavens forbid, silence. "What day is it?" Goose bumps started to form on his arms as the warm body next to his sat up, warm arms draping themselves around his shoulders, the warmth of another body making slight shivers go down his spine, a rapid difference from the morning air around them.
"It's Monday," the younger twin's words had left his lips in a slight yawn as he rested his chin on his brother's shoulder, the sleep beginning to leave his body, though at a slower pace. "We just had the day off yesterday. We bought some of that banana milk to mess with the cooks." A small grin came from Katashi's lips and a slight huff of a laugh.
"Good thing we don't eat things with dairy, huh?" Being that of the feline zodiacs, they were more lactose intolerant than most others, which meant they typically avoided anything with dairy if they could help it. That didn't mean they always did, and small taste tests were always in a demand. "Ah, the chirashi wasn't the best, was it?"
"You say that like you expect them to be good cooks," Satoshi sniffed, turning his head towards the window, his blue eyes showing the energy that began to flow through him. He was awake and he wanted to go do something now. Having nothing to do was something that wasn't the best. Twins with too much time on their hands tended to be a curse of demons, something that you would not typically want to have around. Especially when the said twins were the Gemini twins. "Do you think we will have to clean up the trails today?"
There was a slight pause in their conversation as they both got up. Brothers as they might appear to be, they were twins and they were twins that were closer than that of the average pair. While it is said that all twins are very close and show quite a connection between each other, these two had more than that. A bond that went beyond the Celestial magic that flowed their their blood, a bond that was like no other. So as you might expect with those of such a bond, they slept in the same room, in the same bed. Both slept the same way; in just their underwear, sometimes even if that if the summer nights got too hot for them. It didn't bother them and they honestly didn't care, due to their bond just being that way. Despite their own personal differences, they were pretty much identical in nearly every way.
Quick to take a shower, once again, together, and then quickly dress themselves in the standard school uniform, the Gemini twins were quiet and soft in a very eerie way, as if they were ghosts. From the hair gel to even the shower itself, it was like there was barely a whisper of a sound of them getting up and ready for the school day. They did everything in sync and they did everything together, but even with two people doing the same thing, the sound was still eerie and quiet. Their element was air, after all, which along with their unique ability, they seemed to be a master at stealth.
Making their way downstairs to grab some cold shrimp as a snack for the morning before climbing their way up to the top of the building softly, in their agile and feline ways, the twins sat upon the roof, the highest spot that they could get themselves into. It was almost uncanny how synchronized they were together. Taking a bite of the shrimp, chewing, everything seemed to be aligned perfectly with one another. Their blue eyes stared out to the lightening horizon, the birds waking up and beginning to sing their melodies. Off in the distance was the sounds of the largest city. Yet, surrounded by this beauty by the graces of the Celestial beings before them, they were able to stay far enough away from the city life that it wouldn't bother them nor would there be risk of anyone finding their secret.
"Ah... I'm bored."
Those words were typically words that akuma might send to the range of hearing of anyone within the House of Celestia. Bored twins with too much time on their hands were a gift from the devil. Pranks, twists in daily life, tricks, manipulation. All of these things would happen, and these pranks pulled were not usually planned out in a kind way. Making people squeal, making them flinch and react in shock or horror. Annoyance or anger. Bitterness and harshness. This was the goal of their torment, their minds being creative and unique in such a way. Which was why it was a curse to hear such words leave their mouths.
Satoshi's blue eyes darted over to that of his brother, the shrimp that they had taken up to the roof with them long gone as the sun began to rise up. A curious glint had entered his stormy stare, one that questioned what exactly was planned for their entertainment today. As if on cue, there was the sound of someone running into their door with a soft groan. Their eyes met and two crooked smiles appeared.
"It would be a shame if Hotaru didn't have any hot water while showering." A casual comment, yet it was as mischievous as you might think. A lesser form of their pranks, though it would leave a squeal that would wake up the entire house, surely. Katashi's words seemed to trigger a response from Satoshi that both twins seemed to be thinking.
"But only imagine if there was scalding hot water and then cold water." "Or rather, the opposite. Ice helps with such burns." "The colder you are, the more sensitive you are to heat."
"It would really be a shame if there was an issue with the water." In unison, spoken at the same time with no delay or any form of difference between the two. Softly, as to not wake anyone, their words were for their ears only. Blue eyes that met each other seemed to become more feline within a second, tails flicking in the dawn sun's light as it woke up the forest life around the Celestial home. A evil cackle that was formed by two voices in unison was the only hint that the twins had been upon that roof, as with a simple swish of their tails, they had disappeared into thin air.
It wouldn't be long, however, before there was indication of their doing.
Hotaru's shocked squeal at the freezing cold temperature of his shower would be enough to make any room near the bathroom wake up. However, the pained yelp that followed after a small amount of time for him to starsa shivering, trying to work the shower in confusion, would be enough to wake the entire house. The sound of him tripping out of the shower to rapidly get out of the burning heat nearly shook the entire house with his panic.
Appearing on the couch in the living room quarters, their arms linked as they sat side-by-side, the twins had quickly appeared after the ruckus, looking in the direction of the bathroom with nothing more than a mischievous glint in their eyes and a satisfied look upon their slight smiles as they looked at each other and whispered a soft sasuga towards one another as their impromptu prank had been successful. Sitting upon the couch on their phones, however, they appeared to be innocent as you might expect. Then again, shape-shifters whom can materialize in and out of thin air aren't ones to be very trust-worthy, especially with those smug, malicious, yet casual looks upon their twins.
Twins whom got bored and had too much time on their hands were the worst.

Scorpio "Supporting another's success won't ever dampen yours." resilient, dramatic, wise, passionate — ❦ ❦ ❦ —
He was often called a monster for it, but he found that Monday mornings weren’t so bad except for the notion of school later on in the day (and even that wasn’t so bad when he thought about it, mainly because the hibernation he went through on Sundays sustained his strength for the rest of the starting day of the week). It was Friday mornings he despised with a passion, because it was the day he awoke with a grogginess that couldn’t be shaken off with ease from the lack of sleep he’d endured for the entire week.
Currently, as he lay still absentmindedly, he realized that the corners of his vision was blurred, and he blinked them, only to spot the shaft of light that was streaming through his window. It illuminated the minuscule clock and little desk that rested next to his bed. Rubbing his eyes, he rolled over to his side with a content sigh; the glimpse he’d taken out the window suggested a vivid day with good weather, and it was the crisp air that he took a fondness to. In the far distance, wisps of white smoke unfurled like the feathers of a peacock, mingling with the large rolling white specks above their heads, and he watched this with his warm brown eyes while subconsciously running his hand through his tousled locks. They fell over his gaze, though he didn’t bother pushing them to the side; he’d given up on taming them years ago.
Rising, briefly shivering at the lack of his cover, he let his feet touch the cool wooden floor and let his hands rest on the edge of the bed. Again, he found his eyes dancing over to the vast sight illustrated outside. They were far away from the city, and though it did offer a bit of inconvenience to commute to school, personally, he preferred to be surrounded by the quiet orchestra the larks and leaves and wind seemed to conduct. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy the city life or the rushed bustle of lights and feet, though - in fact, mingling in with the human current wasn’t too bad when you had headphones plugged into your ear in Tokyo or Kobe or even Yokohama for that matter.
In any case, he was in the middle of pulling his inky locks into a tail behind his head when he heard a squeal split through the quiet air. Blinking, he raised his head, puzzled, but a little more vigilant than before. He could already feel the drowsiness fade into a thin trail of nothing, and he was about to reach out to grab his hair tie serenely sitting on the edge of the desk when the second commotion came. It sounded rather pained, and if he wasn’t mistaken, the voice was rather all-too-familiar. He recognized the speaker - or rather, the squealer. Hotaru? The name that popped up in his mind was accompanied with an image of the rather naturally sanguine-looking seventeen year old.
Ah, typical Mondays.
But, then again, he thought as he stood grandly in his underwear. When your life consisted of other Celestial beings with different opinions and different quirks, impregnable mysteries, and formidable foes, any sign of alarm was one that could indicate something a little more deliberate.
For instance, it could mean that either a) breakfast was gone or b) someone had lit the kitchen on fire. Again (it definitely hadn’t been him long ago, no, it certainly hadn’t). And those were very grave matters, indeed.
Kuga Haru was, by no means, an early bird. During the afternoons, she was recognizable due to the way her enchanting brown orbs glimmered with mischievousness every time she spoke with an individual or sauntered down the hallway; the obscured air that encircled her had become a part of her, albeit the partial disguise it offered. In the morning, however, she was the reminiscence of a sloth. Not the sin sloth, but the actual mammal that was more or less (as suggested by its name) known for its slow, meticulous movements. If she remembered correctly, for them, their sloth was their savior because the predators in their perimeter couldn’t detect their movement. Sloth for Haru, however, did not come in the form of her savior, but rather the form of something that consisted of a bedhead, haggard eyes, a drained face, and a prostrated soul. In other words, a bit of a nightmare. Gods, she really was like a ghost. One that wasn’t threatening at that, too, with an enervated air to her frail form.
Slowly dragging her feet out of the room and pushing the stray strands of her hair away from her face with her hand after she’d taken a quick shower, she exhaled a long sigh. Today was another Monday to endure out of the (hopefully) eighty something years of her life.
But today was a little different, because her day started off with a squeal vociferous enough to shake the house. Pausing midway in her step, she slowly turned her head in the direction where the shout had come from, and rubbed the back of her neck. A little afterwards, she heard a pair of panicked feet stomping against the floor, and she listened a little more to realize that, when nothing else occurred, it was probably nothing to be too alarmed about. Then again, anything could have gone wrong; someone could have sprung a bizarre set of antlers for all she knew, and she felt a little more cautious than she had been before. She would pass it as something non-serious for now, but if she spotted the smallest wrong movement within the house, she’d do something about it. Besides this, she felt a twinge of something that could be said to border on sympathy when she realized that the voice belonged to Hotaru. She would have to check in with him later and ask if he was all right.
That wasn’t it though because the next thing she knew, someone had rammed into her with the force of a bull, and that being was none other than Kitamura damning Kohaku. And it seemed that, she hadn’t been the only one who’d been caught up in the Scorpio’s mess; someone else had been unfortunate enough to end up being knocked over with her, though she didn’t have time to see who it had been given that she’d also had the air knocked out of her lungs.
Kohaku was fast. He was a sprinter, and he held a certain degree of pride in his legs for being a runner. It seemed that the God of fortune wasn’t in his favor today, however, because he’d spotted two figures he hadn’t been able to see before (curse the walls, if he had vision that could see past opaque surfaces-… actually, scratch that, he didn’t want that ability) and, not being able to stop in his tracks in the right time, he’d run into both of them face-on. Now, it was important to note that normally, Kohaku never ran in the house. But, as he’d stated before, in a house filled with mystical individuals, anything could happen, especially with the start of a panicked yelp, and as someone who was awake and one of the older members of the house, he’d felt the need to find the source of the problem to gauge its severity. Oh, if it was those twins again who’d stirred up some creative trouble… well, he couldn’t really be mad at them for long or be mad in the first place. He’d stayed long enough in the house to understand that, while some alarms had been the truth, most of it came from the twins. It usually never hurt to be a little cautious, though. Right now, though, it did.
Anyhow, they were toppled together in a mess, but he recognized one of the faces he’d collided into: Kuga Haru. He didn’t have time to see who the other individual was, because the smile Haru was giving him was straightforwardly malignant, and he found himself focused on the girl’s deadly intent that seemed to permeate the air. He was most likely in a heap of trouble; he wouldn’t be surprised to find poison in his food tonight.
“Kitamura?”
Rubbing his head (he was going to get a bruise later on, he was sure of it), he leaned back and laughed a little shakily. “Kuga, I didn’t see you there.” Then, facing the other Celestial being, he said apologetically, genuinely to the both of them, “I’m so, so sorry for that. Are you two okay?” His warm brown eyes twinkled with their usual warmth, but the concern and apology within them was more than evident.

VirgoRelaxation? What's that?
Natsumi Ishikawa's day started with a bang. Or rather a scream. It sounded like Hotaru, but at this current moment Natsumi was to tired to really care who it was. She just cared that she'd been woken up. She'd check up on Hotaru later, probably. Natsumi was making no guarantess, even though it wasn't Hotaru's fault he had interrupted her sleep. She was a nice person, normally, she just liked sleep.
"Gemini," she muttered sleepily to herself, shifting so her arm covered her eyes against the sudden morning light. The speed with which she had opened her eyes, after the shock of the scream, hadn't really allowed her to get used to the light at all.
The twins must be up. And that was bad news because they couldn't just keep to themselves like normal people. No, when they got bored, disaster usually ensued. Apparently this was one of those mornings. Just brilliant. Exactly what Natsumi, and everyone else in the house, needed that particular morning. Not.
Now, Natsumi was not a morning person at the best of times, but she was especially not up to it today. Sundays always tired her out; she found cooking strangely more tiring than housework, mainly because everyone in the house wanted to eat something different, which meant that Natsumi had to make at least ten different things at each meal, though they were mainly just variations of the same dish so she couldn't really complain that much. That on top of homework just exhausted her, and to top it all off, it was a Monday and she'd been woken up just before her alarm -- only just close enough that there was no point trying to get a few minutes sleep in - by some sort of commotion that she was liable to attribute to the Gemini twins. It didn't sound like there was anything genuinely amiss, so she assumed it was another of their harmless-but-not-really pranks. Pranks that Natsumi, because she tended to take them way more seriously than everyone else, often found herself on the receiving end of. She was just glad that it wasn't her this morning, even if she did feel bad for Hotaru.
She rather forcefully shut off her alarm, which started blaring about two minutes after she'd been woken up. This just made her deeply unhappy. She insisted that those two minutes made a difference. In her head they did. She was all groggy and tired now, and Natsumi would probably insist that it was those final two minutes that had made all of the difference.
Deciding that since she might as well get up since she was awake, she pulled herself out of bed, stretching before forcing herself to stand up. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, bedhead and all. She would have to fix that. Couldn't go to school looking like a mess, now, could she?
With the help of a quick shower and a hairbrush, Natsumi found herself looking a lot more presentable than before. Her bedhead had been tamed and her hair hung in a smooth black sheet down to her waist before she scooped it up into her customary high ponytail. She then put a little bit of makeup on, as usual, lining her dark eyes and putting on a bit of lipgloss and mascara. After she was satisfied with that, she changed into her school uniform. She was good to go, finally ready for school.
Satisfied, she tried to figure out her best move from this point; she might as well leave her room and go and do something. It was still early, but she figured that getting food was her best bet - her stomach was grumbling furiously and Natsumi firmly believed in not making your stomach angry.
She headed out into the hallways, venturing towards the kitchen in the hope of getting some breakfast before the others got there. She preferred to get her food when nobody else was there, at least in the mornings. It was quicker that way, usually, and she just preferred it. She wasn't the most social in the mornings.
She was just rounding a corner when two people crashed into her, one at running speed and one at walking speed. This knocked her back onto the ground, hard, and she felt herself being winded, the air rushing out of her lungs. She didn't need two guesses to know who was running in the house. It would be Kitamura Kohaku.
Surely enough, once she'd righted herself - taking efforts to quickly brush the wrinkles out of her clothes as she did - she saw that it was indeed Kitamura. And the other person who had crashed into her was none other than a very angry looking Kuga Haru. Well this would be interesting.
This Monday just couldn't get off to a better start, could it? Natsumi was killing it with the sarcasm today. She only wished she was saying it out loud instead of to herself.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine," Natsumi replied with a smile "no worries at all. Mondays get a bit hectic, right?"
Might as well be nice about it. Kuga looked murderous, so Natsumi figured she might as well try to lighten things up a bit and be nice. Poor Kitamura hadn't meant to crash into them, after all.
"I'm just going down to the kitchen to get breakfast. Have you guys eaten yet?" she continued
She figured it would be rude of her not to at least mention that she was going through to the kitchen. They might want her to brew some coffee or grab them something from the kitchen. They might even want to go with her to have breakfast, though Natsumi didn't really think this would be the case right now. But even if it wasn't, at least she'd asked, right?
Hopefully she'd diffused some of the anger that had been emanating from Kuga, who did not appear to be particularly happy at all.

Sagittarius "Someday I'll be strong enough to hug the entire world, so then everyone will be happy."
━ ★ ❀ ✿ ♞ ❀ ✿ ★ ━
The morning wasn't off to the greatest start for our boy Hotaru. First, he woke up in a haze and ran into his own door when trying to go to the closet to get his clothes. Hotaru was one of the Zodiacs whom had too many incidents with the school, or rather, he was one whom didn't want to deal with that kind of situation again, therefore, he was one of the few, if not, the only one who didn't go to school. Considering that those within the House of Celestia were already trained and quite smart, they didn't fully have to go to school, not unless they would like to. Hotaru, after grabbing a girl in a very bad place on accident when trying to keep her away from hugging him, hadn't really been in school. Sure, he new the basics of what you needed to know, but that was where he stayed content. He loved the idea of school, of course. Fear won over his desire to learn how normal human beings worked, however, and he often stayed home.
So of course, he just picked his regular outfit for the day and got into the shower, which was where the morning went from unlucky to bad in a matter of a minute. The seventeen year old boy was washing his hair and it appeared that the hot water suddenly ran out. This had resulted in a surprised squeak from the horse zodiac, flinching back a bit from the freezing cold water. It was timed practically perfectly. Just as he began to shiver from the cold, messing with the dial to frantically try to get the water warmer, the water quickly turned hot and nearly scalded his skin, making him flinch back with a pained scream, out of the shower and bringing the curtains crashing down to the floor with him.
At that, as he shut off the water and put the shower curtains back up as properly as possible, he decided he'd rather go wash in the stream by the forest rather than attempt to finish his shower. It wasn't like he had a low pain tolerance. In fact, Hotaru had an abnormally high pain tolerance which meant he wasn't really phased by what had happened, but even so, it still stung a little. An open black hoodie as the only form of clothing for his torso, the golden chain being around his neck and the beautiful gem hanging by his chest glittering nicely in the light. Black skinny jeans and no socks, of course. Five hair pins to keep his hair up and there he was, set for the day.
It was a Monday.
Which meant he was to be one of the cooks for today and help out in the kitchen. While that wasn't a bad thing, it wasn't a good thing either. When Hotaru tried, he honestly tried with all his best, but even so... sometimes it wasn't really a matter of trying your best rather than it was a matter of trying to cook something properly. The seventeen year old made his way down the stairs, murmuring a soft "sumimasen" to the three others in the hallway; Scorpio, Pisces and Virgo. This was an apology to them for having to push past them as well as a bit of one for being rude during his shower and probably seeming to wake them up. While walking, there was a bit of cold down his neck, his hair still a bit dampened and his sea-green eyes being a bit dulled, unamused by the events that had just happened. His first suspicion was that the culprit, or rather, culprits, of his shower being ruined this morning was none other than the Gemini twins.
Sitting on the couch, already in their school uniforms and playing on their phones, Hotaru blinked at them with a small huff through his nose. The two didn't even glance up at him or give him any sort of bother to acknowledge him as he stopped in his path, originally journeying to the kitchen to start to prepare breakfast.
"That was really rude, ya know? I 'pologize for whatever I did to annoy ya, but I didn't think I did nothin' to cause that kind of a treatment. That coulda really hurt someone." As expected, the only response he got was silence, the twins not even looking up at him. As he stared at them for a while longer, a small frown on his lips, he waited for a bit before giving a small sigh, his shoulder dropping a little. "What would you like for breakfast Gemini?" He was the first to ever call them "Toshi-chan and Tashi-chan" and had suffered for it. Since that day, he had never called them by name for fear that they might get mad at him again. Their wrath was undesirable, to say the least.
"Nothing that you could bare to cook," one of the twins remarked, not even caring to look up. He wasn't sure who was who and couldn't tell them apart. No one really could.
"Unless you think you're up for a platter of seafood and poultry." The thought made Hotaru's stomach begin to shrink a bit. One of the twins looked up from his phone with a harsh amusement to his eyes. "Oh, and eggs. We love fresh song-bird eggs. Think you could go fetch them for us, Sagittarius?" His facial expression seemed to answer that, and both twins gave a chuckle.
"Useless. We don't want anything from you, we'll buy our own breakfast. Go away, you're bothering us."
"Sheesh," Hotaru muttered, walking away from the twins and into the kitchen, rubbing his neck. Normally he'd be on a sprint outside on one of the trails, however, it was his day to cook and he would rather start early and get everyone fed. Besides, he had plenty of time to run while everyone was away at school. While he wasn't too picky on preparing things for everyone, he tried to avoid cooking things with meat or anything of the like. Still respectful of others, however, he did as typically asked. But the Gemini twins tended to word their meals in such a way that made him a bit sick to the stomach, therefore, he wasn't so willing to cook that well at the moment.
Still, he began to make things as he normally would. He went about to start up the stove and in-door grill, being that it was still April and still spring, so it wasn't always the warmest. Grilled fish, miso rice soup, nori for the rice, and fruit, most likely for his pick to be an array of fruits. Of course, the first thing he was going to start on his own was the coffee as well as the tea. He wasn't the only cook for today, so he figured he should at least prepare things for breakfast. Besides, he was one of the very few who didn't go to school, so he didn't have much to get ready for. It wasn't unusual for Hotaru to cook alone in the mornings, wanting everyone else to get prepared and ready for their school day. Weekends, however, were different.

[ my apologies, i'm still trying to make it shorter, but i have an issue with that, aha. i tend to write really descriptive replies and i understand that not everyone can do that and some find that intimidating so i will do my best to hold back on that. ]

(Hey no problem I don’t mind about the replies x Once Natsumi is done with Kuga and Kitamura she’ll head into the kitchen and interact with your lot but yeah I can’t do anything with her yet.)

Pisces "Be whoever you want to be." erratic, mysterious, alluring, talented — ♔ ♔ ♔ —
“Thank goodness,” she heard the Scorpion say with a relieved sag of his shoulders to accompany his genuine words. This morning he was dressed and ready for school (as usual, he seemed one of the more enthusiastic ones to attend it consistently), and his hair, though it was slightly ruffled from their rather abrupt encounter, had most likely been combed and organized. Whatever had caused him to run (she imagined it would’ve been Hotaru’s yelp), he’d hurried at the last minute; she could tell because his hair was loose around himself instead of remaining tied back in its usual tail that was perched on his shoulder.
If she could draw a parallel with something to his personality, she imagined that it would be the forest stretching outside, beckoning and lively, yet quiet all the same. She found that, when she was in the midst of a forest from a hike or for her own leisure and she stopped in her tracks to survey the leaves and the little critters that made the trees their home, the more and more she investigated its covert and endless perimeter, the more and more new it felt. There were a myriad of different things to spot the closer she looked, all diligently bustling with life while remaining quite quiet; so yes, the Scorpion, she thought, reminded her a bit of the a forest.
Watching him rub the back of his neck as he lowered his eyes a little embarrassedly, she couldn’t help but allow the small quirk of her lips. She could only hope that he didn’t change.
“I’m just going down to the kitchen to get breakfast. Have you guys eaten yet?”
It was an inquiry that had most certainly caught him off guard, and he blinked at this, now fully yet subtly taken aback. Most of the time, the rare times he did collide into someone, the response wasn’t so charitable, but Natsumi’s question assuaged a bit of his fears (then again, she was quite kind in his perspective), and it seemed to do the same with Haru’s current ‘temper.’
Contrary to what was being illustrated exteriorly, he’d stayed long enough with Haru to understand that she had the endless patience of an owl and was quite leniently languid at heart. Underneath the veil of mischief and mystery that surrounded her, she was always steadfast and calm with a surplus of affection and attention to spare, and boy, she gave it her all when there was in individual in need of her aid; he’d learned that firsthand back in the day. He wasn’t estranged from her in the least; their history went far back, after all. Living in the same house while knowing each others’ identity, which was far different from the rest of the world, brought quite a few positive catalysts in their relationship. It seemed to do the same for quite a few of the Celestial beings as well, though of course, it wasn’t everyone.
To be frank, as apologetic as be was, he was glad that the individuals he’d run into had been none other than the two in front of him now. Behind Kuga’s murderous smile, he could perceive the twinge of a genuine hello, if not, an amused indulgence; it was evident the way her dark orbs gently glowed as she raked a hand through her own hair. It wasn’t to fix the small messy bumps that had formed from the disarrayed collision, but rather, a subconscious gesture she took when she was thinking. “I suppose it’s all right,” she said as her calm eyes danced over to meet those of his after glancing over at Natsumi, “She doesn’t seem too hurt either, so I’ll let you off on this case, Kohaku-san.” Translation: There’s no need to worry. There was no need to worry from the start.
Sidenote*: he’d always wondered why she always seemed to refer most individuals with the honorific ‘san,’ as odd as it was. No matter how close she was with someone, including himself, the habit never seemed to leave her; the only time it did was when someone told her specifically to refer to themselves as something less formal and more casual, as he had. She referred to him as Kitamura or Kohaku now, but occasionally, she tended to unconsciously slip back to the habit of referring him to ‘Kohaku-san’ as she had just now.
If Natsumi had been injured, he imagined her reaction would have been drastically different - it would have mostly consisted of surprise from the initial crash and deep-seated worry for the maiden. He imagined that he would’ve been no different.
In any case, she most likely trusted in him to understand her words in a different manner from the way it could’ve appeared outwardly, and he too, shared that mutual trust - he found that it was difficult to live in a place like this, strayed from the rest of the world, without it. This wasn’t to say they both trusted each other more than anyone else in the house, though; it just meant that they’d found a comfortable spot in their relationship and trusted one another enough to lace their words with a little more mischief when they were around each other. It was simply a different dynamic - one that was not in any means cherished more than the relationships they held with the other Celestial beings.
Upon hearing Natsumi’s question, he shook his head to the side, and to this, he heard Haru say with her calm voice, “I was on my way down to the kitchen, as well. What would the both of you say on grabbing something together?”
It was then he heard a soft apology to his side, and he felt.. well, what was he exactly feeling? A mixture of greeting for seeing the bundle of energy (though poor Sagittarius, he currently looked a little deflated) and perhaps even a little bit of concern. Haru seemed to catch on what his thoughts were, because she, with the smallest hint of a smile, added, “Perhaps there’s something we can help him with while we’re at it. It doesn’t seem like anyone else is awake for the time being, after all.
“Sounds good to me,” he answered as he tousled his own hair while leaning back to stretch his cramped back. Realizing that, while they’d uprighted themselves, they were still on the floor, he then offered Natsumi a hand (if Kuga Haru was to vocalize her thoughts, he knew that she’d want him to support someone else before herself especially in a situation such as this one) with a small tip of his head, the light in his eyes never quite fading. Oh, er, well, he knew Natsumi was more than capable of getting up by herself; it’d just been his instinct to outstretch his hand in her direction rather than something that’d come from his consciousness. Hopefully he wasn’t coming across as arrogant. Gods, maybe he was getting old; he found himself easily attached yet deeply invested in every one of their wellbeing, especially with the notion that quite a few of them were younger than himself even if it was by a year or two. “Here’s hoping that nothing too serious is happening over there.”
She could feel the presence of the Gemini twins before she saw them. Rounding the corner, she found that she was correct in assuming that they were nearby; they were sitting nonchalantly on the couch with their phones in their hands, their stormy blue eyes fixated on the flashing monitors. “Morning Katashi, Satoshi.”
Perhaps she was getting old; she was growing a little too indulgent to those who were younger than herself. Perhaps it was a combination of the influence of culture and age. She couldn’t be too sure, but it was true that she tended to soften when she was left facing those younger in the house. A year seemed to make a large difference in high school, after all - you couldn't say you were the same when you looked back a year and all the experiences and trials that you endured.
In any case, she resisted massaging her temples upon sighting Kohaku; around most of the the other Celestial beings, she knew that the Scorpion was uncritically open and fond of them to a fault even if the feelings weren’t returned (if only they heard the tales he had to tell of them, typical stupid, dramatic Kohaku) and was prone on doting on them as well. The twins were a part of this; it was apparent the way his warm eyes lit up upon sighting them, just it had when he’d spotted Hotaru and Natsumi, though he kept a certain distance from them when it came to personal boundaries. With those who didn't mind space that much though? That was a little bit of a different story. "Morning," he chirped while simultaneously vanishing into the kitchen. Soon afterwards, she heard something along the lines of "is there anything I can help with?" If Hotaru was lucky, the older Celestial probably wouldn't have glomped him.

[ not going to lie, i have favorites between my sons. the twins are the ones that i favor, but like... hotaru... my poor baby... like, every character's background here probably isn't the greatest. and everyone was ordered to be sheltered from human life, so they all don't really understand how others work that great. but with the twins, they're a bit... different, i guess you could say? very protective of themselves and their own little world?
i love the twins a lot. and i kinda want to use them, but i also would like to use hotaru because he's the one whom is mostly being talked to. that and he's a lot easier to rp since he's so cheerful and friendly. the twins? not so much, but they're super fun.
rip, i don't know if i have that much energy to rp them all. ]
