Mina "Apex" Cleveland -- 25 -- Villain -- Mina has pine black hair and emerald green eyes, with a face peppered in small scars, as if a grenade went off in front of her face. Despite the 5 or 6 scars, she's quite pretty, with a fuller body form and well-built muscles. She has a lover, a supervillain only known as Pyrokine, who has given her a baby boy still only a year old. The child's name is William. -- Mina has the ability to generate intense amounts of voltage from anywhere on her body. Through practice, she can now direct these from her palms. However, using her wealth, as she is a wealthy woman, she created an armor suit with high tech gear and weapons powered by her. Basically, making her a perfect battery. The name for the armor, Apex, was coined by some random reporter, saying it was the "perfect apex of home emgineering" or something.
Jason "Pyrokine" Cleveland -- 28 -- Villain -- Jason is not an evil man. However, his love for Mina turned him so, after a supposed hero threatened to harm their baby. Being quite brave but not opposed to stabbing someone in the back, he's fully committed himself to his son and wife. He has brown hair, brown eyes and burn scars all over his body. -- His ability allows him to turn matter into energy, and vice versa. In small doses this is safe, allowing buildings to catch fire by his will alone, etc., but when used to the max, the quantum physics and other incredibly involved sciences can end in accidental time travel, and the such. He's timid when using them.
William Cleveland -- 1 -- Child of two villains -- William has all white hair, and brown eyes, caucasian skin. A perfectly healthy baby boy. -- William's powers have not manifested yet.

Sounds fair. Though, I remember a book I read that had it kind of different. Powers come from this thing called the Chasm (a dimension full of these blue orbs of power) and appear in our world as small blue orbs of light. Not everyone sees these. These only react to some people, and there's no telling for certain who. It means you could get powers at 6 years old, or 60. However, powers are sometimes hereditary, not always though. Finally, if you react with a blue orb before puberty, it usually doesn't kick in until puberty.
Idk, that's my favorite interpretation. It's been a while since I read them, so that's only a rough remembrance.

OOC Here!
Alright Silver.
I was thinking that there could be lots of different ways that powers happened. For instance, with Ty, it's been part of his actual family for generations (I'll explain this more in the roleplay), with Axel and Amos, they were experiments gone wrong. Tessa has her own origin story that I'll hint at in the roleplay, Kai's was an accident, Norman's involves magic, etc.
But basically, I was thinking that much like in marvel or dc comics, the powers they have could have come from anywhere, really.

WIP
Katherine Brooks ---Female-- 23 years old --Her height is five feet eight inches tall. Kate is lithe and strong, her build is like that of a long distance runner, but not quite as muscular. Bright hazel eyes that are almost green with an olive skin tone and dirty blond, almost mouse brown curly hair that ended about two inches below her shoulders. Her hair often frizzes out of control.--She’s kind, clumsy, introverted and extroverted, and smart. While Kate has a strong moral compass, she sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her which often can cause sticky incidences. Even though the woman can be independent, she’s a team player at heart and does what she thinks is best. Which often leaves her at odds with her heart, head and the people she trusts. She has a strong moral obligation to protect what she believes in.-- She has super speed and everything associated with that, meaning numerous secondary applications, faster-than-normal healing from injuries, speed-reading, generate cyclones by spinning her arms quickly, throwing lightning bolts from the electricity she produces from running. As she becomes more confident and trains more, her speed and abilities from those listed above will come into being and increase. --As she is still just a plain old human, she still has most of the weakness that a human would have. If you punch her enough she will either become unconscious or die. If she is caught off guard and doesn’t catch a bullet, she can die. If you find a fancy way of taking her speed away, she’s a normal human without accelerated healing or anything. Lack of Gravity and lack of Friction also are her downfalls, if you get her cold enough, like absolute zero cold, she won’t be able to accelerate her molecules which prevents her from generating kinetic energy, causing her to slow down. One bad thing about having super speed, if she doesn’t eat around 10,000 calories a day, she will faint, not that she’s figured that out yet.

OOC Probably a good idea since the villains are supposed to outnumber the heroes.

(So, let's take some inventory.
Joining form has been done. Basic plot- villains outnumber the heroes, and are kind of running rampant nowadays?? Powers origins- No specific origins. Some gain powers through lab experiments or accidents, others are born, some are created otherwise. What's for sure, is that not all superhumans are heroes or villains- but the strongest ones, they definitely have picked a side.
The things I'm sure we're missing- How the world gov't is dealing with it what country we're set in (I assume America.) rules (Though I bet most of us don't need them. We're mature, right?)

Rachel Proctor AKA Elizabeth Snow -- 24 -- Neutral/Hero -- Rachel stands at 5'8" tall. She has brown hair that comes down to her shoulders in a neat fashion. Her outfit consists of a hunting jacket with a kevlar vest underneath. Her pants are a generic pair of jeans. A bow is slung over her back, a colt pistol in a holster at her hip. On her head she has a leather aviator hat. Rachel is a failed government attempt at enhanced abilities. Being taken at an early age, the girl was tested on frequently. The first major augmentation to her DNA happened at the age of fourteen, resulting in effects that made her into a warrior. She was trained in a special forces program at sixteen years of age, rising to a high rank quickly. At the point in time that she realized she was being manipulated to murder political targets, Rachel quickly deserted. She found refuge in a Russian village, and later came back to America to take up the role of a detective under the name of Elizabeth Snow. -- Rachel's powers are seemingly simple, until one puts together the fact that she happens to be one of the most potent hunters imaginable. Rachel has heightened senses; her hearing, sight, and smell all increased tremendously. She also has some increased strength, enough to lift a car for about five seconds before she must place it back down. As a result of these abilities, along with her military training, Rachel is a force to be feared in a fight.
First hero, had an idea for a dog vigilante, but I'm still writing them out.
