Robin nodded as well, tapping his chin as he thought. "We'll have to keep an eye on Mark to make sure something like this doesn't happen again...we can't have him killing us off like that."

Angelica walked toward Laf. "What are you doing here? Alex is going to KILL me if I don't die here!"

"Relax, mon amie, he wouldn't try to harm you." Laf soothed in his French accent.

Robin looked over at him and nodded a bit. "They're promising, that's for sure. If we can manage to get Dark under control then we might have a chance. Ah, that reminds me, did you see the other newbie come in? He showed up right after the fight."

Calne nodded with a small smile of her own. "Y-yeah, I'm okay. You're one of the campers here, right?"

"Youcan be sure of one thing. Im getting us out, if it's the last thing I do!" Angelica's heels caught in the dirt as she walked around Laf like she did when she was angry.


"Ange, if it works, Ill be forever in your debt." Laf said, standing up straight and not even flinching at Angelica's anger.

Robin nodded a bit and looked around. "Seems to have vanished...he seems like an interesting character. Even by camp standards." That managed to get a bit of a laugh out of Robin, but it sounded tired. He was just tired, what could he say. "I'm sure he'll show up again eventually."

"Oh, my name is Calcium - but you can just call me Calne," she held a hand out for him to shake, even as Magnesium scurried around on her head.

"Oh, relax, I think I can handle a moment of being soft," he chuckled, elbowing Kakashi in the side a bit. "Besides, I'm not one to really hide that sort of stuff from people I care about."

Calne laughed rather loudly at that. "That's certainly one way to put it!"

Robin snorted and shook his head. "I highly doubt that. You're more than capable of taking care of yourself." he patted Kakashi on the shoulder a couple times with another grin.

"Have you been here long?" Calne asked after her laughter died down.

Robin's smile faded at that and frowned. "What do you mean? Did we get another warning?" he asked, tugging on the sleeve of his jacket.

Calne nodded a bit at that. "Yeah, I think I've only been here for a few hours but it feels so much longer than that...for once I actually want to go home."

Robin took the letter from him and read it over, scowling. "Great. Just when things were getting comfortable. At least I got everything off my chest before everything goes to hell."

Calne shrugged a bit, rubbing the back of her neck. "People are probably glad that I'm gone back home. But I'd rather be there than here."
