ShimmerWind smiled at her brother and then sniffed the air and noticed a large plump lizard sitting on the rocks sunning itself nearby the river she dropped into a hunter's crouch and started stalking it.

"Great job Poppypaw" Stormwish mewed, walking over to his apprentice. "You caught it, thats the most important thing." Stormwish purred "Make sure you're judging the distance before you jump" He added as an afterthought, after praising Poppykit. Stormwish watched Shimmerwind go after the lizard, ignoring his apprentice for a second as he watched the she-cat stalk.

Poppypaw happily buried her mouse in a bit of dirt and strolled towards the waterfall, hoping to stumble upon some small geckos. She new that she had gotten lucky with her kill and would need to step up her game if she was going to impress anyone.

ShimmerWind pounced on the lizard and finished it off with a merciful swift bite. She picked it up and walked over to StormWish and buried her lizard near PoppyPaw's mouse "I see your apprentice got a mouse.." she commented looking at StormWish

Yes... barely" Stormwish admited. "She did catch it though." Good catch with the lizard! In this rate, we will fill up the fresh-kill pile by midday!" Stormwish heard a bird call far off, and jerked his head at it. "We should get it together, he said.

Orcidblossom threw a sharp glance farther into the cave. There was plenty of room that she wasn't using. The finished putting the last few herbs away. She went to examine the space. There was enough room for around three warriors and more room for herbs. She noticed there would still be room for something else.
She thoughtfully gazed at the space and came up with a brilliant idea. If she could dig a space into the ground and fill it with water, she would have a supply of water for her sick cats within pawreach inside her den. She left her den and headed into the clearing, her white pelt turning a shade of light pink under the raw sunlight.
She looked at the warriors and apprentices in the clearing, wondering if any of them would help her. She wasn't really friends with anyone, so maybe just a cat she thought could make good decisions? She lay her eyes on Stormwish who was at the fresh kill pile.
She headed over, her small paws hardly leaving an imprint in the dirt. She walked up to Stormwish and touched her tail to the distracted cat. "Stormwish?" she inhaled. "Would you mind me asking you if you think something is a good and beneficial idea?"

(Thats fine! My teams called the glacier bears, I live up in the Yukon so my teams pretty small! Its a lot of fun though, keeps me somewhat fit lol!)

Berrybranch had been curled up in his nest for quite some time, but he just couldn't sleep. The irritated Tom stood from his position and stretched, then padded back out into the daylight. His amber eyes shot around. He noticed the evermoving Wildspirit padding out of camp, and Orchidblossom outside of her den, looking like she was thinking about something. The large gray Tom sat outside of the soldiers den and began grooming himself, pulling burs and twigs from his thick pelt.
Wildspirit padded out of camp, following the scent of the hunting patrol, up to a certain point. She then turned off the scent trail and headed towards the sharp drop off of the plateau. She leapt down onto the rocky outcroppings until she made it down to the head of the waterfall. It wasn't some magnificent outpouring, but it was a substantial stream that pushed through the jagged rockface. Wildspirit stopped for a drink, lapping at the cool spring water. She then turned her face to the oasis, looking for any signs of her fellow clanmates.

Wildspirits eyes locked onto Coyotecall as she stood above the oasis. The tom looked displeased as he gazed around, so, being the friendly and personable cat that she is, Wildspirit jumped down a few more ledges and then leapt down onto the ground, landing gracefully next to the dark brown and white, tabby tom. She turned her head and looked at him for a moment, before sitting and gazing around. "Let's go," she said casually. The dark gray, medium haired cat turned and walked away, in the direction of the sunning rocks.
Poppypaw meandered through the oasis, near the waterfall. She kept scenting the air and quickly came across a small gecko sunning itself on a rock by the water. The cadet quickly popped into a hunting position and snuck towards the little creature. As she neared the rock, she leapt snatching the little thing off of the rock. She quickly and quietly dispatched it, happy with her technique.

Coyotecall stared at the she cat walking away from him in surprise. The rock coloured she cat had appeared out of nowhere, and ordered him to go somewhere in the blink of an eye. Still, Coyotecall thought, he did want to hunt at the sunning rocks, and after he had convinsed himself he was going because it was his idea and not because the pretty Wildspirits was going, he followed her. He cought up to her with long strides, falling in pace beside her.
"I'm sure she'll improve, she's catching lots of food here!" Stormwish mewed happily. "Of course this is the oasis. This place is paradise! Imagine a place where it was all like this!" Stormwish had never left the dessert, being born and bred in Oasisclan, and couldn't imagine a forest. Stormwish looked down at the lack in the middle of the oasis, it shinning waters beckoning him. He walked away from the other cats to stare into its clear depths. He could see the mud at the bottom. He was sure there much be fish in this lake, albit small ones. Still, it was worth trying. He bounded onto a rock above the water, leaping from rock to rock till he got to one where he could perch above the deep water. He laid down to wait, tail flicking back and forth as his paw hovered above the water.

The she-cat was quiet as Coyotecall caught up with her. She flicked a glance at him and would twitch an ear every once in a while, but never said a word the entire way to the sunning rocks. As they neared the jagged rockface, her eyes lit up. "I love hunting here," she muttered, eyes flicking around the wall, looking for prey scattered among the rubble. Her tail waved gently as she searched for something to chase.

Berrybranch stood from his position by the Soldiers den as the little white healer approached. "Yes, Orchidblossom, please, have at it." The big tom was always willing to help his fellow clanmates, and had learned that being an interactive part of the clan was a must. He shook out his thick coat and watched he small cat with large, amber eyes, awaiting her response.

"Its much more rewarding then hunting at the Oasis." Coyotecall streached out, the sun warming his pelt as he eyed the rocks."Of course, we had Poppypaw with us so she needed to hunt at the oasis." He had never seen this side of the prickly she cat before, she sides who seemed exited about something. She was quite, of course, but Coyotecall preferred it that way. Just watching her eyes light up as she looked at the landscape that was his home and refuge told him more than idle chatter.
"Are you sure your going to be alright in this heat." The she cats fur was thick and lovely, but it would soon get hot under there in the dessert sun.

Wildspirit nodded and shot a flat look at Coyotecall as he expressed concern for her safety. "I'm fine." She padded away, towards the rock wall. Her coat of dark gray fur was a bit warm, but nothing she couldn't handle. She leapt onto the first ledge and looked down at the cat, expectantly. "You coming or what," She called casually. Her ears were twitching in every direction, listening to the little scratches and scrabbles of prey animals roaming around the rocks.
