...And nothing is the same.
First off, I'm Silvie. (No duh, it's in the title, and my name, and yadda yadda yadda.) Known on the old boards as ~Silverheart~, Bourbonwhisker, Silver Heart, Silverheart Deputy of OceanClan... But I go by Silvie. (Yes, I do have my birth name, but I like Silvie for the WCRF. It's a nice name. xD)
I signed up on the old boards on August 15th, 2009. The summer before my sophomore year of high school. (Yes. I'm old. xD) I was on and off throughout most of high school, but when 2013 rolled around, I was pretty much inactive. I had just started college and man, was that a busy time. But now, I've graduated, I'm an intern, and I have a lot less time on my hands than ever... So of course I decide to reconnect! Brilliant idea, right?
(Wrong.)
But I'm apparently a functional adult now, so I can do whatever I want!
So this is a shoutout to those I know, and a greeting to those I don't. If you know me, feel free to post, send me messages, and let me know how/when we met (I may need a refresher). If you don't, and you want to say hi, do the same thing!

Wow, back in 2009 I felt like I was one of the only highschooler on the forums. But it looks like we were the same age when we joined. Cool.

I do sometimes (especially with my younger siblings starting and getting close to finishing high school) but... then half of my coworkers are more than twice my age, so that helps XD

I mean, the paid staff I work with range between late 20s and early 50s. The interns are all around my age (21-23). XD
But I mainly feel old when I go to bed at like 9pm. It's because I get up early the next day. By early, I mean between 330am and 4am. I take public transit into the city and it takes 1hr45min to get to my work. >.>
Thankfully, I only start early on Sundays and Thursdays. Mondays I start at 1230pm and Fridays I go from 630pm to 1230am.
RPing is gonna be haarrrrd. BUT I CAN DO IT... no i can't

Let's see... there are only seven of us where I work. Two are about a year or two younger than me, one just turned 60, two are in their 50s, and my manager is... I'm not really sure to be honest. In her 30s maybe?
Ooh... I can't even imagine getting up that early. Back in high school and my first semester of college being up by 5:30 was bad enough. And now I'm a terrible person who stays up way too late and regrets it every morning...
I'm down to just one rp now, and we moved it from the Warriors forums a couple years ago because things were getting too strict. I've been afraid to take on more than just the one because life.

Nice! Yeah, there are 12 interns at the place where I work, and more than a dozen paid staff. Also volunteers. And that's just in the marine mammals section. xD
I'm getting used to it, but jeez is my sleep schedule gonna be whacked when I'm done hahaha. I'll probably try to stay up late tonight, because of the forums ending, like, tomorrow. o.o
I RP with a friend of mine, though we haven't been doing anything lately because his muse is low. My muse, on the other hand, is yelling at me to join something fun. I might try out just one RP on here to start with, just to test the waters. I can only be on at specific points of the week (so I can sleep, eat, work, and social with the outside world [ew]), but I'm gonna try!

I can't even imagine!
I'm pretty much saying my good-byes to the forum tonight (which for me, just means looking at old posts and things nostalgically) and guessing that by the time I wake up tomorrow I'll check and everything will be gone... Unless I force myself up earlier, which might happen, but I'm not going to count on it.
I would offer to rp with you, but I'm honestly not sure how well I can keep up with more than one these days.

They've been okay as far as I can tell...
The only thing I've really noticed so far is the lack of signatures.
Things are really crazy up through next weekend, but I might consider a new rp after that? What kind of things do you like to rp?

Huh, okay. It's probably my internet. It's pretty slow, which stinks.

Well..... XD I know the feeling... I don't miss the days of my older computers that took forever to load anything... I don't know if you remember seeing Trailed pop up on the old forums back in... 2010 I think, or Future Trailed anytime between then and 2014, but those have been my main rps. Action, violence, being on the run, some romance, etc. I was also in another one that had a similar feel, but was about people who had been experimented on. Here if you care to see it before it's deleted tomorrow. Other than that... I love almost anything with dragons, and I'm open to almost anything else really. |

That sounds cool! I had an rp a while back (4+ years back because I've been off for four years xD) where it was a hidden rebellion and they were plotting to take down the government. Pretty rad. c:

In my house, that is my room. So I just stay in the living room closest to the room where the router is.
