Bearstar looked around the camp. The cats were still stiff from the previous season but their personalities were waking up. He sighed and padded into his den for a moment.

Bearstar turned around to see his medicine cat, "About what?" he questioned.

Bearstar let out a loud huff and shook his head. "I'll call on some warriors to deal with them." he sighed as he walked back to the cherry tree. He leaped gracefully to the meeting branch, his muscles used to the long jump after moons of doing it. "Petalclan warriors!" he yowled. "Come to the tree!"

Rowanpaw exited her and Spiritwing's den at the yowl of Bearstar, but flicked her ears back when she realized it was a warriors' meeting. You're not a warrior, you're not even a warrior apprentice. She scolded herself, glancing around until she sought out her mentor making his way towards her. "Good morning," she muttered, dipping her head respectfully to the older tom. "What's going on? Who dared to wake the beast and cause him to yowl like a dying starling?" She snorted. 

Bluefang, about to exit camp to go for a hunt, froze and turned back around at Bearstar's voice. Although urging herself to go out and rip the pelts off those rouges herself, Bluefang forced her paws to lead her over to the cherry tree and listen to what her leader had to say about the whole rouge situation. He didn't look to concerned, more irritated in Bluefang's opinion. Her lip curled. No rouge messes with my Clanmates and gets away with it. 

Ryeheart grumbled another complaint of tiredness, only half listening to Bearstar yowl. His body slumped as he walked along the edges of the camp until he got to the fresh-kill pile. The tom was completely unlike his sister in every way, not only thinking sleep was more important than daily Clan activities but deciding to obey his whining stomach and have a meal. He dragged a small mouse from the pile and dragged it over to a secluded near the back of the camp and began to nibble at it, watching Bearstar speak to the warriors gathering below with wary eyes.

Rowanpaw shrugged. "Well, it's not like we all weren't thinking it. He can be a grouch,yknow." she swished her tail back and forth for a moment. "Oh, just what we need when we're just coming out of leafbare! rouges! Why can't we just start off Newleaf without any trouble?" she mewed sarcastically, sighing irritably. "So, what is the lesson for today? Am i gonna learn more about the amazing technique of drying herbs out, or are you going to teach me something useful, like how to treat an actual wound or help a queen bring more annoying kits into the world?" Eowanpaw was in a particularly bitter mood this morning.

[ ah, sorry, i was asleep!! ]



"I don't doubt that, Brokensong." Giving a soft meow, Littleberry nodded as she turned back to her own meal, which was nearly finished by now, and continued to eat in a peaceful silence. Her eyes flickered from one place to another, observing her fellow Clanmates who began to gather around the fresh-kill pile, but shyly turned away if she accidentally made eye contact with anyone. When Bearstar announced for all to group together, she gave her full attention to him, wondering what news would be given.

[ ah, i'm so dense, i forgot to write a starter for Bramblethorn! i'll send it in now, hehe~ ]


Bramblethorn let out a quiet yawn as he squeezed his way out of the warrior's den, his back arching slightly in a stretch. "I hope it's not too late..." He murmured to himself, his fur already warming up with embarrassment at the possibility of being scolded for sleeping in. "Perhaps I should check in with Redpaw, I'm sure he's wide awake by now."
