"Rise up, ting ting, like glitter and gold."
Status: Taken but never private!
PM me if you would like me to duplicate it! :3
Introduction:
The sound of a light rain as it hit the ground echoed among the empty streets. It was a steady pitter-patter, and some would call it calming. But when you were running for your life, rain wasn't exactly all that therapeutic. Rushed footsteps could be heard through the alleys, making contact with newly-formed puddles. Listen closer, and you could hear someone breathing heavily, most likely due to lack of exercise mixed with running for an extended period of time. A new sound emerged from the silent night, one loud but known by all. Sirens. You might be wondering what's going on, and that's fine. Curiosity is a powerful feeling, yet it can also lead to situations you don't want to find yourself in. But...if you really want to know, then go see for yourself.
"I've got fire in my soul."
Rules:
- I would like this to be a long-term one on one RP, but it is by no means private!
- All I ask is that you are descriptive and able to type at least 10 lines per post! Thanks! c:
Things To Note:
I have absolutely no idea where I wanna go with this I literally just typed something up out of sheer boredom??? But like I was thinking I wanted to make my character have powers,,, I think that'd be cool yes yes.
Maybe like...my character doesn't have control over their powers and therefore is this huge criminal among the city who struggles with everyday life with police and stuff.
I'm a sucker for sworn enemies that eventually like each other but kind of hate to admit it haha. Maybe your character could be another powered runaway, and maybe they can run into each other and have a fight or something. Idk lol, whatever you feel like. ;3
I kinda feel like doing The Gay™ with female characters, which leads me to say I do want a lil fluff, but I don't really want it to be the main plot.
"Rise up, ting ting, like glitter."

hey! I've been in the mood for something actiony and loose for a bit so this caught my eye. your layout is a little difficult for me, though, so I was wondering whether it would be possible for you to not use it just to make it easier on me? if not, that's totally fine and I'd still be happy to do this with you I just thought I'd ask just in case you'd be willing. don't know if you don't ask, right?

{Oh it's no problem at all! I love making fancy layouts and I tend to go a bit overboard haha. But I'm glad you're interested!}
{Would you like me to post a starter?}

??? - "It's always a game of cat and mouse, huh?" The wailing of the sirens were getting louder and louder as each second passed. It rang in the criminal's eardrums, causing anxiety and adrenaline to course through their veins. The thought of being captured at any moment was thrilling, and it sent a chill down their spine. But nobody was getting captured today. The hooded figure had their own means of self-defense, so a small encounter like this would be no problem. Or so they hoped.One wrong turn later, the criminal ended up on the sidewalk of a main road, face to face with an oncoming police van. Goosebumps crept up the hooded person's skin, and all too soon they were surrounded. From the front, the police van. From the back, the cops that were putting up the chase. To any normal person, the situation would've seemed hopeless. Anyone else would've surrendered right there, at the mere sight of guns pointed directly at them. It was the only logical thing to do. But this person was different. The police yelled to stand down, but the only response from this mysterious person was a chuckle.Soon enough, the hooded criminal made their move. They shoved their palms outward in one swift motion, and a bright white light engulfed the surrounding area. Blink, and you'd miss it. At the same time, the sound of gunshots echoed through the air, passing through the crackling, sparking air. This mysterious character ducked, and for a split second thought they made it unscathed. But the feeling of liquid running down their side said otherwise. The culprit covered the wound with one hand, standing back up to examine the aftermath. Too bad for them. They chose the wrong day to mess with this criminal. Also, their car was totaled. Served them right for putting on a long nightly chase and the fresh new wound.The hood had fallen off during the movement of ducking down so quick, revealing the true identity of the culprit. It was none other than Alexandria Kaltman, the lightning bender. She preferred to go by Alex, as it was short, but someone people liked to pronounce her full name just to make her mad.

Francis had learned early on not to run from sirens. You'd think that a criminal would shy away from all hints of law enforcement, turn and run the moment sirens sounded in the distance. But Francis was no ordinary criminal and running away had never really been her thing. She much preferred to run head first into danger and think her way out of problems as they came which was how she ended up turning towards the sirens, not away, even before gunshots cracked through the air. Well, now she simply had to see.
Her legs carried her smoothly across the asphalt, her power guiding her toward the sirens with impressive accuracy. Each step brought her closer and it was mere minutes before she arrived at the scene, hands splayed at her sides in a purely defensive manoeuvre. Of all the powers she might have, others could deal a lot more damage. Usually, if it came to a fight, she'd shoot or stab, not wield the vibrations in the air around her in an attempt to hurt or even kill. But she hadn't foreseen anything tonight and, for once, she was unarmed save for her ability.
What she saw shocked her. The police car was damaged beyond repair. Its siren was still shrieking but something told her that was about all it could do now. A woman stood opposite it, a hand clutched against her side, and Francis didn't doubt for a moment that she'd somehow been involved. She took a deep breath then snapped her fingers. In an instant, the sound of the siren had disapeared, leaving the other woman and her swathed in silence. Good. That incecant warning signal had been annoying.
"This is quite the scene," she commented, surveying it once again.
