Saw this before, but I wonder why Spotted looks mad. Sigh, It's coming out next year thou :l I wonder why too? and yeah I know but at least thunder and shadow is coming out this up coming month. |

tbh the cover is really aesthetically unpleasing lol
thunder needs to be layered behind pinestar, or spottedleaf needs to be layered over him

Aaaaaannnnndddd just when I've been thinking of starting from square one all over again to get back into the series and try to get caught up with everyone else...
The cover is beautiful, but Spottedleaf's appearance displeases me...A lot.
I don't know about anyone else, but back when I did read the WARRIORS books on a regular basis and Spottedleaf came into the story, or was at least mentioned, I'd always wonder "what does Spottedleaf actually look like?". Sure, a small description of each cat's appearance was provided in the first few pages of the book to better help the reader along, but for me it just wasn't enough, everyone imagines characters differently so therefore sees them differently. And when The Ultimate Guide was finally released, I was ecstatic when I learned that a few other cats not mentioned in Cats of the Clans were in The Ultimate Guide, Spottedleaf included. She was one of my favorite characters that I so ever adored, I cried like a pathetic wimp reading her death scene. It was a huge, HUGE, relief on my consciousness to finally see what Spottedleaf truly looked like.
Or so I thought, until I saw this cover. Can the Erins not make up their minds on a cat's appearance? Now it's just getting sad really.
By the way, if you don't have The Ultimate Guide and/or haven't seen what Spottedleaf looks like in it, here's it (added spoilers tag for those who have not gotten the chance to see the contents of the book. REVEAL AT YOUR OWN RISK!)

Oooh, the cover is pretty!
I started reading the Warriors Series in 2015 so I took a year to catch up, so I didn't really need to wait for the next book to come out in the main series. Now that I'm caught up, all these books seem so far away. April 11th 2017? I don't have time for that! I need to read read read and read.
I'm especially excited for this book since it has a story about Spottedleaf.
