i was in math class today, with a guy. we, along with a girl, were talking about what we wanted to do in the future. the girl mentioned becoming a mother, and the guy said he'd never be a father. i said i'd probably never have kids, and if i did, it'd be through adoption, at which, they both laughed at me. the girl left and the guy mentioned that adopted parents weren't as good as birth parents. i said that some people adopt that can't have kids by themselves, example, infertile people and gay couples. he winced when i said gay couples. now, earlier in class, he said he was hunting animals during his break. now, when i asked why he didn't like gay couples, he said it was chilling and unnatural. so, you find shooting innocent creatures fine, but a boy liking a boy and a girl liking a girl wrong ? absolutely disgusting.

Well he's pretty homophobic theres no excuse for that but hunting is pretty normal? (And kinda fun. It feels pretty rewarding to eat a dinner you know you were the one to get and feed your family with.) Don't see your point there.

Now I'm curious where you're from and why it isn't common there. I know that my state specifically does maybe hunt more than a lot of other places for two reasons, 1: lowest gun control laws out of all 50 states and 2: deer especially are actually seen as a major problem because they will overpopulate and then cause hazards and the population will continue to grow and get out of hand if it isn't put into check.
