@ Zubat: The sudden darkness pulled a startled squeal out of Leane, her eyes snapping shut and staying that way even after the lights had flickered back on. Everything that was happening today, the hail, the blackout, the loud roaring sound, it all felt like a nightmare to her. The warmth at her side suddenly became a little more intense as Flora scooted closer. She must be scared too. At least they weren't alone, right? "S-Scary..." She whispers, just loud enough for her companion to hear.Flora didn't really want to admit she was scared out of her mind too: "not really..." She tried, "just a little dark..." Ugh. She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them, "that's all." That was all. Nothing else.

As everything became dark, Heather dropped a half-filled cup, spilling the juice onto the floor. Her legs failed her as she dropped down to the floor. Power outages plus a blackout? Not a good sign. She let out a sigh of relief as the lights flickered on. She could feel someone's hand on her shoulder. Aspen had moved from his seat, and was now by the swadloon's side. "I-I'm fine. Just a bit shaken, that's all," she insisted. Aspen hesitated for a second, but stood up with a thoughtful look on his face. (here ya go X!)

@spoopurr;; to continue the rp i almost didn't respond to ever whoops skipping ahead a bit
After a few more moments of gentle small talk, both of the gijinkas heard the rumbling coming from close by. Far enough away that they weren't in immediate danger, but close enough that Hurricane had had enough of Eleven's dodging, and decided to use brute force to get the kid inside. They had lifted the car he was under and grabbed him by his scruff, making him yelp and struggle to get free, but the Raikou was stronger than him, much stronger, so he stopped after a few more moments and grumpily, but compliantly, let Hurricane bring him inside.
Though, as they got closer to the building, Eleven's nerves started to skyrocket again, and he went from hanging, arms folded, in Hurricane's hand, to turned and practically cuddled into the Raikou's chest, curled up as small as his already-small body would allow, hiding as much as he could. A Chansey nurse came up to check on him, but the Zorua wasn't having it, and almost bit at her fingers, causing Hurricane to mutter an apology and divert off their path into the bathroom, setting Eleven down as soon as they were in the men's restroom, watching the small canine dart to one of the stalls and lock himself inside.
Eleven was not having this. He was not okay, he did not want to be here, in here, with all these women. He couldn't handle it, he had nobody to protect him. He wasn't being very compliant with Hurricane, he was sure the legendary was going to leave him in here, alone with nowhere to run, since if he left the bathroom there was going to be females left and right and he wasn't going to be able to run and they were going to hurt him and--
His breathing was uncontrollable and uneven, which proceeded to make Eleven panic even more, making him let out a cry of panic and slide down the wall, curling up into a frightened, tiny little ball. Eleven was a fairly... composed child, he didn't talk much, he only attacked when prompted, he was... calm. But not right now, now he was practically sobbing into his knees, his shoulders shaking from the force, his breathing so uneven it was making him gasp for every breath, and all because of some women he didn't even know.
Eleven was not okay.

(@ Augh: Shhh it’s okay.)
Hurricane felt terrible to hear the kid crying on the other side of the door. They knew they were going to upset him, but… they panicked. The avalanche threw their reason out the window; the instincts kicked in. Physical safety was the only thing that mattered in the moment. They thought about saying something, but couldn’t find the words. They didn’t know this boy, and he obviously didn’t have the best life. Something happened to him over the years… Hurricane let out a sigh. They reminded themself that what they did was right, or at least, not wrong. They saved Eleven from freezing to death. It wasn’t the perfect solution, but they couldn’t undo things now. Guilt could wait. And besides, at least they took him to the bathroom, to take care of Eleven's fear of women. The legendary walked over to the sink and decided to wash his face. A way to clear his mind. Or, he would have… but the pipes froze. “Perfect,” they growled, clenching a fist. There would be fire-types thawing out pipes soon enough, hopefully. The Raikou debated on heading out to check on the others, and try and help… but. This kid needed someone nearby, and only Hurricane could do that. Everyone else had each other for help. This kid was alone, as far as Hurricane knew. Why else would he have hid under a car, with nobody else even knowing about it? The legendary walked up to the stall and almost knocked out of habit. They coughed. “I’m… sorry I did that. That I took you in here without warning…” They crossed their arms, waiting for an answer… if there would even be an answer, anyways.

@spoopurr
It wasn't so much the brute force that freaked Eleven out. He had been manhandled enough in his life to not be too affected by that, it was that a woman tried to touch him. He wasn't okay with that, he couldn't handle that, he wanted to avoid women at all costs, if he could do that, he'd be fine. So when Hurricane apologized, Eleven let out a noise that sounded something like an 'it's okay' but even Eleven wasn't that sure.
Being that the Zorua practically wasn't breathing, he needed to remember his tricks, how he calmed himself down when he panicked, but as he did them, the four second inhale, three second exhale, two second pause, then repeat, he found it was only kind of working. It usually worked fine, calmed him down right away, but he was shaking and tears were streaking his already-dirty face, so it wasn't working as well as it usually did.
However, it evened his breathing out enough for him to be able to mutter a soft, "it's okay" to Hurricane on the other side of the door, before continuing his breathing tricks, resting his head back against the wall, trying to calm his shakes as well. He couldn't shake the thought that Hurricane was just going to leave him in here, alone, so that wasn't helping either.

@ Augh:
Hurricane The Raikou frowned. It sure didn’t sound like things were okay. They gave another sigh. “I’ll be sticking around for a while, so…” They decided to sit down, but they weren’t going to sit on the floor of a bathroom. They walked into another stall instead. They really did have an urge to go out to the lobby and try and help calm down the masses, but… not right now. Hurricane would have to keep pushing the idea to the back of their mind for the time being. Instead, they decided to try and help Eleven. They crying seemed to be… less than earlier, at least. They would probably be stuck in the hospital for at least a few hours. They’d hate to see Eleven in a state of panic the entire time. However, the legendary lacked skills in the consolation department. They were great at talking to people, except when things got rough. “Everything will be okay. Nobody scary will get inside this room.”
Cyril The dark-type wandered around the hallways, bored out of his mind. He passed by people every now and then, but never bothered to talk. That avalanche completely ruined the mood! But at least being in the dark made it easier to sneak around. He probably wasn’t even allowed in some of the places he wandered through, even if he was a legendary. He knew he could’ve tried finding someone he knew in the lobby to talk to, but he didn’t feel like spending that much time to look through a crowd. He only knew a few people by name, anyways. And so, the Yveltal continued to walk around, hoping to pass by someone entertaining.

@spoopurr
[ Eleven ]
Eleven himself wasn't one hundred percent sure on what to do here either. He had always calmed down from his panic attacks alone, but now that there was somebody there that he could talk to, he had to adjust his entire calm down scenario. Hurricane's words washed over him and he curled up a little tighter, his breathing finally evened out, but his shaking not stopping. He really, really didn't want to be here, not right now. If anyone else saw him, he was probably going to get taken in for a check up, since he looked sickly and far too dirty to be healthy, and he didn't want that. He didn't want people touching him, he didn't want eyes on him, he just wanted to be back in that empty house, curled up on their couch with several blankets wrapped around him. That was what he wanted.
But he couldn't have that, not right now. Not with the power outage and the avalanche impending.
[ Willow ]
One of the rare times that they happened to venture into town, happened to be the single time that the entire town was being rounded up and put into one place, so they were obviously subject to that. Willow went easily, not being very difficult to get to the hospital, but once they were in the hospital, they immediately dived for the nearest vent, levitating up to it, pulling the cover off and sliding in, hearing the shocked calls of the rangers and nurses as they crawled through the vents.
Willow didn't care, they liked the small space, it was comforting. They didn't have anyone here to be super worried about, Mespirt and Uxie were still missing, they didn't care about anyone but those two, and they weren't here. So, they decided to crawl through the vents and stalk people from there.
After a while, they spotted a small, dark skinned kid walking down one of the more empty hallways, and their red eyes narrowed. Wriggling close to the opening, they quickly popped the cover off and laid in wait for the kid to get close enough, before taking a leap out of the vent when they were in target, tackling them to the ground and getting to their feet quickly.
"Hiya! Are you a kid like me? There's not many kids around here. I mean, there might be, but I've been in the vents since I got here and you're the first kid I've actually seen! Good thing I can see in the dark, huh? I wouldn't have seen you coming!" Willow chirped, using their tails to hold them up, bouncing with them and watching the kid with large eyes.

@ Augh:
Hurricane Since there wasn’t any other noise in the room, it was easy enough for Hurricane to notice that Eleven’s breathing gradually turned steady. I guess he just needed some time… The legendary waited a few more minutes, and reassessed the entire situation. An out of season hailstorm decided to show up, getting bad enough to cause an avalanche and a power outage. Everyone in town, at least hopefully everyone, made their way to the hospital to take refuge. They’d be there for hours, maybe even a whole day. Eleven’s probably not the only one crying from this… There were a lot of kids in this town; some of them must be terrified! Even Hurricane felt uneasy about the situation… but, staying calm took priority. They felt relieved that they were inside a stall; they couldn’t let someone see a legendary appear even the smallest bit vulnerable. It wasn’t acceptable. Hurricane shook their head, and used their own strategy to relax; focusing on his surroundings. The silence, minus breathing. The chilled air. Anything that could distraction them for the time being. “This is going to be a mess,” they drawled, not realizing the words came out.
Cyril A sudden noise made Cyril tense. However, he didn’t have a chance to react in time to getting knocked to the floor. He jumped back up, attempting to strike his attacker in the process. By the time he stood again, his left arm glowed a bright gray; he used Steel Wing out of reflex. Lucky for the other person, their evasiveness won over Cyril’s accuracy. His eyes focused on the figure. A little kid? Seriously? The kid proceeded to launch into a conversation with Cyril, who quickly got annoyed. Times like this made him regret choosing to have the body of a ten year old. Furthermore, he failed to care about the explanation of seeing in the dark. “Look, I’m not a kid. I might seem like one, but I can assure you that I’m older,” he stated, a hint of venom in the tone. “Shouldn't you be with all the others, like your family, or something? You’ll get lost.” Despite leading with that, Cyril did have other questions; Why was that child in the vents anyway? Why did Cyril have to run into them out of anyone? Attacking someone and chatting like they did nothing wrong… I’d rather have stayed bored. He didn’t see his mood improving anytime soon, that’s for sure. In fact, he charged up another Steel Wing as a show of intimidation. He’d just have to scare them away; simple as that.

Night ( Don't be sorry. I haven't really been able to roleplay for a while now, anyway. )
Barnabus flashed an apologetic look at Nori, eyes narrowed a little so that he could see her properly through the whirling white of the thick, falling snowflakes around them. "I'm sorry," he murmured. When he spoke, he sounded. . . as if he were faraway, as if his attention really wasn't completely focused on Nori and Brice, or the cold weather descending down on them at a dangerous rate. "I just couldn't let it get buried under snow again. . . I'll be careful. . ." And with that, he moved forward and took the basket of kittens from Nori so that she could focus on walking, not wanting her to be left carrying the somewhat heavy basket while already having enough trouble trying to walk on a bad ankle without her crutches.
What he didn't seem to notice, however, was the expression that Brice wore once he heard his friend's words. The tone of which Barnabus had used had been enough to make Brice concerned, but. . . one word had stood out, and sent sharp chills down his spine that even the freezing cold air couldn't give him. Again. He frowned at the Bannette as the ghost-type took the mother cat and her kittens from his girlfriend. There was now no doubt in the Empoleon's mind that Barnabus's death had something to do with snow and cold. . . maybe it was even an avalanche, just like the one that could happen today? What kind of emotions, what kind of memories, would come to the surface of Barnabus's mind if an avalanche really did occur? Brice shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. No, he didn't have time to think about that now. He needed to make sure these two got to the safety of the hospital. Then he could worry about his new friend's state of mind. "Yeah, right behind you," he said in response to Nori asking to go faster, trudging along behind her and her boyfriend, head down low.
Barnabus remained none the wiser of Brice's worries. He followed along at Nori's side, one hand under her elbow, just in case of the off chance that the ice-type would slip.

Cerro let out a tiny sigh, but couldn’t help but smile a little at the unknown’s action. Even as unpredictable as Alphabet was, he should have at least expected them to do something. Standing back up straight, he lifted his hand up to ruffle Alphabet’s stringy black hair before letting his hands slide into the pockets of his coat. “Good one, Pha. If you really do need warmed up, though, let me know, alright?” “Or me.” Alcott made her way over to the two. The tougher of the siblings had went off to go get some drinks. Now she returned to her brother and the unknown’s sides, carrying two cups of hot chocolate in each hand. After letting Cerro grab one of them, she turned to face Alphabet. “I got some hot chocolate, if you’d like any, ‘hun? It’s a little warm, though, so I would blow on it a bit before you took a sip-“ And that is when the lights failed. Cerro and Alcott both went silent, tensed as darkness engulfed them, listening to the sharp gasps and cries of surprise that the blackout earned from the crowd. Soon, though, the backup generator kicked in, and a few lights came back on. Cerro reached up to rub at his pale eyes, grimacing as they adjusted to the dim light. “Well, there goes the power.”
Mira’s smile only grew, and she gave a few quick nods. “I’d love to hang out!” she chirped, eyes glinting happily. Her smile fell as the power went out, and though it came back on just seconds later, she couldn’t help but shudder nervously. “Wow. . . it was even strong enough to knock the power out. . .” She shook her head. “Why is there an avalanche in the middle of this season? Especially one so strong?”

[ Eleven ]
Eleven heard Hurricane's voice after a few more moments of silence. They were speaking softly, like it wasn't meant for Eleven to hear, but there was no other noises in the bathroom, so he heard it as if Hurricane were right next to him. He let out a soft laugh of agreement, resting his head on his knees again and breathing out a shaky breath.
"It's cold in here..." he mumbled out loud, curling up a bit more. "Do ya think that they have blankets here?" he asked, shuffling forward and peering under the stall door to where he could see Hurricane. "Like, the soft ones, that people usually leave on the back of the long comfy things?" he was talking about a couch. He couldn't remember what they were called, but it didn't matter now, not if he could get a throw blanket to cuddle up in.
[ Willow ]
Willow stared at the other kid standing in front of them when they denied being a kid. Then they giggled. "Oh, I know! I look like a kid too! But I'm not. I'm actually like seven hundred years old!" they chirped, bouncing off of their tails and back onto their feet. "I have no family! Well... None that I can find anyway. Mesprit and Uxie have been missing for seven hundred years, I'm all alone but I'm staying in one place so they can find me when they need to!" they explained, running their fingers through their hair and shaking it out a bit, making it fluffy. "And nobody else here cares about me!" they said, sounding way too cheerful for what they had just said.
As the kid's claws started to glow, Willow's eyes widened and they squeaked, ducking out of the way of another Steel Wing and bouncing around them. "Hey! That's not nice!" they frowned, quickly using Double Team to distract the other kid. "There's no need to attack me, I'm not hurting you!" they snapped, letting their Double Team stay up as they shifted out of the way. The copies faded after a minute and Willow was a bit farther away, near the bathroom, still frowning.

@ Augh: Hurricane The Raikou didn’t notice Eleven moved within eyesight; they’d closed their eyes as part of an attempt to stay relaxed. “I’m not sure about soft ones, but they definitely have some blankets. Nurses were passing them out on our way in,” Hurricane explained. Of course, they didn’t expect Eleven to notice that; the Zorua was terrified. “Do you want me to go and get a couple? Should only take a few minutes.” It was rather cold, after all. The legendary wouldn’t mind using one for themself. They could tolerate the cold, but it didn’t hurt to stay comfortable. On the other hand, they were still hesitant about leaving Eleven alone for a while. The kid didn’t sound completely calm, yet. Maybe after another ten minutes, or so… maybe.
Cyril Seven hundred-wait. It clicked. This apparent child was Azelf; they had to be. So much for scaring them away; attacking another legendary wouldn’t be so easy. Sure, Cyril had a type advantage, but he wasn’t fond of putting in a lot of energy into fighting right now. The whole hailstorm fiasco put him on edge. And where was Malakai during this, anyways? Cyril knew his older brother would be fine, but the lack of information still bothered him. “You most certainly tackled me to the floor just a moment ago,” the legendary hissed, sticking out his tongue. “I’m not letting my guard down around you.” He walked towards Azelf, not preparing another attack. “I’m not that old for a legendary, but that doesn’t mean I’m stupid, either.” Normally, Cyril would be more trusting. But not towards another legendary, and definitely not with the current situation. That was another reason why he wandered off from the crowd; less people meant less reasons to be tense. “Well, if I’m stuck dealing with you for a while, I guess I should at least tell you my name; Cyril.” Maybe it would be enough to send the message he wouldn’t attack again, maybe not. He didn’t really care. He almost threw out the fact he was Yveltal for good measure, but decided against it. If Azelf wanted to know that badly, they’d ask.

Important Notice:
(Okay, so its already been pretty obvious that I haven't been really active here. I've actually been going through some things recently, and the amount of stress I've dealt with in the past week has left me pretty much empty in the writing department. I don't want to completely burn out, so I'm taking a break for roleplaying. I don't know how long this will last for, and I'm honestly a little scared that it will last for longer than a month. I'll try to at least be online and maybe post some out of character things, but I won't be doing any roleplaying.
Meteor will be taking charge of this roleplay in my absents. She'll be in charge of all the things I've been doing so far, which she was basically already doing anyway 'cause I'm a baby and can't run this place without the help. So please go to her for any questions regarding the roleplay. And Meteor, if you need help with the questions you can still ask me about them too yo. Meteor will pick the second in command, as it is always better to have two people running something than just one. That can be really stressful.
If this roleplay dies while I am gone, I won't be too surprised. This is a very busy time of the year, and real life comes before this sort of thing. And with the current level of activity going on, yeah it just really won't be too surprising. I'm actually quite proud of how long this place has lasted.
Anyway, I'll talk to you all later. See ya!)
