(
night: Honestly the song that GIF is from (I actually forgot the name lol) is my fav by her. Rockbell is also like... super sad but great too ;-;
Niiiice. And no problem -3- I didn't exactly have anything to do yesterday so it was the best time to go save them. Um, I DID split them up though... so rather than it being my two replies, then your two, etc. etc. It's everything for Kazuki & Camari first, then everything for Solstice & Orville second.
So, you're the odd-numbered posts and I'm the even-numbered. You probs don't need ALL of them but, I may as well post them all at once.)
Kazuki & Camari
Post 1
Camari had been wandering around for a good while now, actually for a couple of days. Her life just consisted of her scaring people, speaking to ghosts, glowing in the darkness, and finding some place warm to sleep- Though, as a half fire type, she was usually warm. She just meant some place where she could be comfy and welcomed.
The only people she'd really talked to in town were a couple randoms, the nice brother, sister, and mother that she'd made the cake with, and the twins that she'd played video games with. But she never stayed with any of them, and soon enough, she continued on by herself, once again lost with what to do and dealing with the random spirits that came to bother her every once in a while, rather is be a nice one, a sad one, or a screaming one.
Currently, however, Camari found herself sitting at the outside of the cafe, drinking some pop from a cup as she traced little circles and shapes on the table with her finger, though they were imaginary. She would have used some of the money she had to buy it, but they insisted to give her it for free due to her... Circumstances. She really needed to find a job and earn a living, but Camari felt as if she'd be a bit too quirky for that. What if she freaked out from a spirit, or one made her cry suddenly in front of someone? She sighed softly and frowned angrily at the table, pushing her finger harder and dragging it to show how upset she was.

Walking down one of the less crowded streets, Kazuki’s eyes darted from reading a book in hand to the ground ahead of him. Sayuri insisted that he read this book about how businesses work; she claimed it would help him out once he got a job at some point, regardless of where or what the job would even be. Unfortunately, the book couldn’t hold Kazuki’s interest. All it did was go on about how businesses are made, legal processes, things like that. It’s not like Kazuki would own his own business or anything. He just wanted a simple job; maybe work at a grocery store or something. Nothing big.
The reason he agreed to read it in the first place was to prevent yet another argument with Sayuri, yet he wanted any excuse possible to avoid reading this thing. The beginning actually wasn’t so bad, but by the third chapter, Kazuki hated every word of it. Maybe if he got a job, she would stop pestering him…? Kazuki let out a sigh. He was being selfish; he knew he was. Sayuri basically paid for him and Marmalade to live out here, despite neither of them having a job. She could choose to abandon them at any time, or demand them to move back into the city. Kazuki just needed to deal with it and uphold what he agreed to.
A familiar figure appeared in the corner of Kazuki’s eye, causing him to turn to get a closer look. It was her! That ghost he met in the alleyway… they made a cake together for the festival, thanks to Marmalade having the idea. Sayuri paid for the supplies for that cake too, another example of something he owed Sayuri for. It’d been quite a while since that festival, really. Kazuki took a few steps towards the ghost girl, then stopped. Her name… what is it again? Camari, I think. Now that he got a closer look, she seemed upset about something. Well, it wouldn’t hurt to ask, would it? “Hey, Camari! It’s been a while. Something wrong?”

Camari had crossed her arms on the table, resting her chin on them as she gazed at her almost empty soda cup, kicking her feet gently under her seat. She was glad she didn't really feel a need to eat or drink. Nor did she really need to sleep, though she liked to mock people who were alive and actually act like she was one of them. Act, well... Normal, though she was far from it.
Suddenly she heard someone call her voice, and half expected it to be one of the various spirits she came across, sitting herself up and looking over to the side. She was surprised to see the brother of the first family she had hung around with, whose name was.... Huh. What was his name? Well, it had been a while, but she remembered that his sisters name was something like Marmalade? And then Sayuri...
Since she had been so busy trying to figure out his name, she found herself just staring blankly at Kazuki from below her hat, snapping out of it a couple moments after and forcing on a grin, though it looked quite natural seeing as most her grins were kind of strange looking, "Hi there Kazuki!" Ah, there it is. She then shrugged, resting her chin on her hands as she moved her elbows to rest on the table, "Nothings wrong, just dead people problems~" she said quite casually, cocking her head to the side curiously, raising a small eyebrow as her grin pulled into a smirk, "What's up with you?... And that book?" she asked, eyeing the book in his hands.

The blank stare started to confuse Kazuki; did she forget who he was, or something? Luckily, that was proven to be not the case when she returned his greeting. Dead people problems didn’t exactly sound like ‘nothing wrong’ to Kazuki, but he recalled Camari being able to talk to ghosts quite often. The mention of the book caused Kazuki to involuntarily glance at it. He raised it with an arm. “Oh this thing? Some book about business practices my mo- Sayuri is having me read.” Oops.. almosted called her mother.
Well, biologically she was, but she sure didn’t act like one. A mother’s neglect really added up over the years, even if things were fine externally. Kazuki couldn’t let others know about his family problems. “It’s really boring,” he continued, thinking about the book. “But, I promised I would. I’m about 40 pages in so far… out of about 300.” Kazuki let his arm down and walked over to grab seat at the table. “I hope you don’t mind me sitting down, do you?” If she did, he’d have no problem getting back up; he didn’t want to just take a seat if he wasn’t welcome.
Solstice & Orville
Post1
Solstice had plopped herself down in the middle of town, after being able to locate it with the help of the nice girl with the camera. She had than proceeded to pull her guitar out of her bag and begin to play some music. For a bit, she didn't sing, but once she had gathered a small crowd and a bit of courage, she managed to raise her voice and sing along with the music she was playing, glancing up every now and then.
She wasn't a huge fan of singing in public, but sometimes it was the best thing to do. She had enough money to pay for nights at the hotel, but she needed some extra cash to do a few things here and there and continue paying for the hotel. So as some people walked by and dropped some cash into her hat, she smiled softly at them and nodded in thanks, every once in a while changing the song.
After a bit, though, Solstice paused to take a breather, as some people dispatched. She reached over towards the water bottle she had at the side, taking a small sip of it, and then leaning over towards the hat on the ground, pulling out the few bills and bits of change that was there and tucking it into her pocket before continuing to drink her water. What to play?... Singing in public always exhausted her a lot faster than it usually took to make her tired, so she found it rather a bother at times like these when she just kinda wanted to sit alone, but knew she couldn't afford it.

The Arcanine wandered around the town, looking for something to do. He tried to get Neville to come along and check out some shops, but the rejection was instant. Well, instant might be exaggerating… Flat out being ignored would be more accurate. Then again, Orville should’ve expected that. He’s in a whole other world when carving something. He’d just have to look around by himself. Maybe he’d meet someone new?
A small crowd not too far away caught his attention. Curiosity tempting, Orville made his way to see what the fuss was about. The closer he got, he started to hear singing. Whoever it was, they were really good! Orville thought of how Neville sang sometimes. The idea of him singing in front of anyone made the Arcanine chuckle to himself. His brother would be way too embarrassed for that. Sort of unfortunate, really; singing could be pretty fun! Except, Orville couldn’t sing well at all. He’d sing if someone ever asked, but they’d always regret it afterwards. It didn’t help that he’d get so into it, which he did with pretty much anything. Giving his all was something that just happened.
The song stopped, and the some of the crowd dispersed. Orville took the chance to get an actual look at who the singer was. A young woman, likely not too far from Orville’s own age. He tried to figure out what species she was, but he couldn’t figure it out. Maybe he could ask? If anything, complimenting her singing would be more appropriate. Anyone deserved to know how good they were at something; it helped with confidence! “Hey, you’re really good!” he called over to her. “How long have you been into singing? Your skill at the guitar is impressive, too.”

Solstice glanced up as a man approached, commenting on her performance. She blinked at him with a rather blank expression, though it shouldn't have surprised her that someone had approached to ask her about it. She was putting herself out in the open, in public, for goodness sakes. She was asking for some attention, when she really wasn't.
But, alas, she couldn't just ignore him. He was complimenting her in a nice, friendly fashion, and Solstice couldn't help but feel a little bit of pride well up inside of her. So she screwed the lid back onto her bottle of water and leaned herself on her guitar slightly, tuning it for a moment and then crossing her arms over the top, "Thank you, I really appreciate it." she said softly, managing a small, friendly smile.
How long has she been into singing, hm? Well... That was a kinda hard question. She'd been into singing for as long as she could remember, but had only really gotten into it and practicing when she was younger, starting to take lessons. And then she started posting her videos up, and so on and so on... So, there was various answers, but she would just pick a basic one, "I've been into singing since I was small, and guitar when I got a bit older." Her cheeks lit up slightly at his other compliment, but Solstice always got embarrassed when she felt rather flattered.
"I'm Solstice Boyd, Shiny Dragonair." she said quietly, holding out her hand over her guitar to shake his, giving him a raise of her eyebrow, "And you are?..." She really wasn't that great at talking to people.

His tail wagged a bit as he completed the handshake. Making new friends was always fun! Unless it was one-sided... which Orville may have done quite a few times. He wound up calling others friends before they would call him friends; he just didn't find it hard to like others, really. However, he had his fair share of dealing with people he didn't like, just as everyone else did.
“Name’s Orville, an Arcanine! Nice to meet you.” So, her name was Solstice, and she was shiny? That explained why he couldn’t figure out her species; he didn’t know much about shinies. Almost nothing, even. “Are you a travelling musician? I don’t think I’ve ever heard you singing anywhere before, so I’m guessing you haven’t been here that long,” he spoke.
