Frazzlepaw looked at Nettlepaw, a slight smile on his face. He hoped their clan wouldn't end up caught in this threatening war. He lifted his gaze up to the sky, and appreciated being able to see the sky. Like the times he visited the DayClan border... except on DayClan territory, it was far better, for you could see the sky for fathomless lengths. This small clearing by the SunClan border reminded him of it. "War is such a drag..." he sighed, watching as his breath escaped as mist into the air. His eyes were distant and curious as he pondered many things. "Whether or not we are in it."

"Well, that's good news." Yew muttered in response. "For once I agree with you, Frazzlepaw. War seems rather pointless." He rose to his paws, looking to see if anyone else had come while he was distracted. Not seeing anyone, he let out a sigh of relief. "If there is a war coming though, I'd strongly suggest you find whoever it is that teaches you and get some battle-training done. Even if you aren't part of it now, you never know what might happen." That was certainly true. In Yew's experience, war tended to spread like wildfire. "If your teachers aren't around, well...Like I said before you'll find me." He spoke softly before starting to pad away.

Frazzlepaw grinned at the mention that the rogue agreed with him, but at the word 'battle training', he made a sour face. Battle training... A place and a time where apprentices would show off their moves, always eager to be the best. The older apprentice had done most of his battle training alone at night, but when doing battle training with his mentor, he'd never put in his full effort. He simply didn't want to fight his clanmates, even though it was for his benefit and learning. Fighting was necessary, but he simply couldn't put his heart into it. Not unless he had a real purpose. His gaze flicked to rest on Nettlepaw. What did she think of this? If she wished to come secretly and train with the tom, he would have no qualm with coming with her. He couldn't bring himself to trust the loner yet. Once more he found himself fretting over his sister, and he glanced in the direction of camp. "We should return soon," he informed Nettlepaw. "They'll be wondering where we were by now." Though part of the reason he wanted to return was to make sure his sister returned safely.

Nettlepaw’s eyes widened at the thought of battle training. No doubt Furzepaw or Owlpaw would have no trouble but Nettlepaw was tiny compared to her brothers. She heard Frazzlepaw say that they should return to camp and snapped out of her thoughts “y- yeah. Probably, Owlpaw will have noticed by now that I’m gone” she stood up and shook out her fur. Her future seemed rocky, and even if the threat of war wasn’t Nightclan’s burden, it felt like it was. Nettlepaw was terrified of what was to come, and was especially worried for the rogue. She thought on his offer for training, but couldn’t quite come to a decision just yet. “Goodbye Yew” she mumbled, waiting for Frazzlepaw to begin the journey back.

"Goodbye Nettlepaw, Frazzlepaw." Yew called over his shoulder as he headed towards home. It wasn't long before he remembered that Frazzlepaw had said he hadn't seen Roselight around camp earlier. After pausing and grumbling for a minute, he decided the she-cat was worth searching for. It wouldn't be too bad of a walk, since he only had to look around the area near his den. If the warrior had gotten even semi-close to the NightClan camp Yew was certain that someone would've found her, even if she was too injured to get back on her own or somehow got lost.

Frazzlepaw dipped his head to Yew, and padded back into the dark pine forest, in the direction of camp. His paw steps gradually became faster, but he tried to keep a pace that Nettlepaw could keep up to. Surely Roselight had gotten back safe... He sure hoped so. It was strange that they had spoken to her attacker. He wondered who had attacked first, but after some thought, decided it wouldn't matter. Yew had sounded almost proud at having fought and wounded her, and that was what irritated Frazzlepaw the most. It was a good thing that he wasn't the type of cat who would jump recklessly into revenge. He could do nothing about what had happened to his sister, except make sure she made it home safe.

But she knew how worried Frazzlepaw must be to get back to camp, so she kept her mouth closed and hurried after him. Owlpaw and Furzepaw must be awake now, and if Owlpaw hadn’t noticed she wasn’t there, he certainly would soon.

</div>Totally did not mean to just disappear for so long. Internet went out until Friday, then I worked a ton.)) Wolfclaw visibly seemed to brighten when he saw Echoriver, purring softly at her greeting. "Good morning to you, too," he mewed, dipping his head to pull out a half-frozen mouse. His nose wrinkled a bit, but he knew that he couldn't be too picky this early in the morning. Having chosen his morning meal, he set it down again so that he could speak to her. "Wanna eat with me before I take Windpaw out for his assessment? I'm going to wait until the sun is a little higher before we go out."

Roselight had limped into camp a while after Nettlepaw and Frazzlepaw had left. Her thoughts were too occupied to worry about her brother's whereabouts. After that long slow travel, her sore leg was aching real bad. She was glad that she had stayed with Yew that night before, because she never would've made it back if not for that night of recovery. She looked around camp for some cat to report the issue to. All she really wanted to do was slip into her nest and sleep, but she knew it was expected that she report the rogue she had run across on their territory. Though true to her word, she wouldn't mention the location of his den. It would bring shame on her if she admitted that she had been weak enough to take the generosity of a rogue. --- Frazzlepaw heard puffing and glanced back and noticed Nettlepaw struggling to keep up. The fact that she wasn't bitter about that fact warmed his heart, and he slowed down. "Sorry," he murmured over his shoulder with an apologetic smile.

She probably should have reported it, but the young tom couldn't help but admire her soft heart. "The offer for battle training?" Frazzlepaw questioned. "It would certainly be an experience, and we may be able to learn new moves our mentors will not be able to teach us." He looked back at Nettlepaw as he padded along. "Personally I don't trust him, but if you wish to pursue training with him, I will come along with you." His eyes took a new light as he padded forwards. "Maybe... Just maybe it will be the adventure of a lifetime."

While she wasn’t exactly trusting of Yew, he had the chance to kill her last night and he didn’t. He offered them a safe haven as well, even though Nettlepaw would never take him up on that specific offer. She was scared, but she would never betray her clan in such a way.

Frazzlepaw nodded. "I'm not going to let you go off and have all the fun," he teased. Because he didn't trust Yew, he wanted to stick by Nettlepaw when she was around him, just incase something happened. He slowed as they approached their secret exit.

Nettlepaw decided that she would take the same approach getting inside camp as they did getting out, and sat down to wait for a couple minutes when they neared the tunnel “I’ll wait for a bit before I follow” she informed him. Nettlepaw was relieved he would go to with her if she trained with Yew, it made the idea a lot less scary. But she still wasn’t certain she would do it.

Frazzlepaw dipped his head to her, impressed at how quickly she had caught on to the plan. "Make sure you fill in the hole a bit before coming out," he told her before disappearing into the hole. He shook out his fur and slipped into camp from the dirtplace. His gaze flicked around, and his ears perked when he found what he was looking for. The multicoloured she-cat was standing by the camp entrance, looking around as if searching for someone in particular. "Roselight!" he called, racing towards her, forgetting all discretion.
Roselight's eyes widened as her brother came barrelling towards her and she watched as he skidded to a stop in front of her. "Frazzlepa-" she began, but was quickly cut off.
"I haven't seen you all morning and you didn't speak with me last night! I was worried about you, Roselight..." he exclaimed, rubbing his cheek against her shoulder.
Roselight's jaw was slack at Frazzlepaw's sudden show of affection. As shocked as she was, she was warmed at the fact that he had missed her. "I'm sorry I worried you Frazzlepaw," she murmured, licking his head. "You haven't gone and done anything rash while I was gone, have you?"
Frazzlepaw knew he couldn't mention his meeting with Yew. When he noticed her lifted paw, he had the perfect subject change. "You're injured!" He gasped, sniffing at her leg.

Nettlepaw waited for a bit and then squeezed through the hole. She shook out her fur and covered the exit before running into camp. She saw Frazzlepaw with an older she cat and figured that must’ve been Roselight. She padded over, checking to make sure she wasn’t too injured but didn’t stay long for fear that Roselight would notice her nervousness.
Furzepaw saw his sister walking around camp, and noticed that she looked a little more anxious than usual. He jogged over “hey Nettlepaw what’s going on?”
“N- nothing!” She squeaked, averting her eyes. “I’m just... tired...”

"It's nothing really... Just a little sprain." Roselight replied, despite the fact that she could no longer apply pressure on it. She looked up again, looking around for the deputy, the leader, or maybe even the medicine cat. She had to tell someone about the rogue on the territory.
Frazzlepaw saw her looking around and assumed Roselight was planning on telling about the rogue. It was obvious she was a bit ruffled by fighting with Yew, so he assumed the rogue had been telling the truth. Even so, he couldn't let on that he knew. "What's wrong? What happened? Who are you looking for?"
"Woah! Slow down. One question at a time," Roselight replied with a laugh. Her face turned serious, as she fully turned to face him. "I'm glad you haven't been wandering off lately. There's been a rogue on the territory for a while now. It isn't safe to go off by yourself," she told him. She personally thought Yew wouldn't do too much to harm her smaller built brother, but she didn't know for certain. Nothing was certain with that tom.
"A rouge?!" Frazzlepaw exclaimed, eyes widening. He played the part well.
"Yes, and don't you get any ideas about going off and meeting him. I know you, Frazzlepaw. With your head full of clouds, you would run right into the middle of a rogue army and start an everyday conversation with them."
Now that Frazzlepaw thought about it, the prospect did sound intriguing.
"But life doesn't work that way, Frazzlepaw. Rogues are dangerous. So for once in your lifetime, obey the rules, okay?" Roselight stepped towards Frazzlepaw, wincing as she accidentally set her sprained leg down.
"Yeah yeah... I said I would a long time ago," Frazzlepaw replied, his tail flicking dismissively. He eyed her leg. "You should really go to the medicine cat to get that checked out."

Nettlepaw kept looking over to Frazzlepaw, seeing his face creased in worry over his sister. Furzepaw noticed the glances and grinned “Who’s that?” He chirped, scaring his sister.
“I- it’s no one! Just someone I talked to today...” Nettlepaw responds.
“You talked to someone on your own?” Another voice interjects, Owlpaw appearing next to her. She jumped “w- well yes! I’m capable of doing that some times you know!”
Owlpaw smiled “well that’s good. Larksong used to have to force you.” Her eyes dropped to her feet and she shuffled them, not able to tell them why she really knew Frazzlepaw.

Frazzlepaw was seemingly oblivious to Nettlepaw's glances, as he dealt with Roselight. Despite Roselight's objections, Frazzlepaw insisted that she go to the medicine cat's den and ended up nudging and pushing and coaxing her almost all the way there. Once she was there he looked upwards and let out a big sigh of air. He hated forcing a cat to do anything, but with one as stubborn as his sister, sometimes force was needed.

Yew had spent nearly an hour searching the area between his den and the NightClan camp for Roselight, growling angrily as he finally decided to give up. There was practically nowhere else he could look, and her scent had gone stale. She had probably made it back to camp, but since there was no way for the loner to go and check there he didn't have much of a choice. He turned towards his den, planning on diving down into the old badger nest and curling up in his nest.

I need you to give me a more detailed description [both appearance and personality] of your character, and you also need to read the rules before I can add you. If you need help with coming up with a more detailed description, read some of the forms on the front page.)

(I'm quite curious to see how the bonds turn out between Frazzlepaw, Nettlepaw and her brothers. XD As well as with Yew.)
Once Frazzlepaw was assured that Roselight would wait there for when the medicine cat or her apprentice might return, he padded away. At least she already had cobweb on her back, though he had no idea how she got it on. The back was a very difficult place to reach for a cat. He padded by Nettlepaw, Owlpaw and Furzepaw, dipping his head to each in turn as he passed by, greeting each by name. The strange thing about Frazzlepaw, was that he wasn't usually too noticeable in big groups, and while he seemed to be distracted with small things as other cats socialized, he somehow knew every cat's name. Who knew how much he heard when he appeared not to be listening.

I’m curious to see what happens to, I was imagining something like Owlpaw or Furzepaw discovering Yew after they become warriors and when they go to fight him, Nettlepaw defends him or something like that. The plan was for Yew to become something of a father figure to Nettlepaw.) Furzepaw watched the older apprentice walk past “he knows our names?” He questioned. “Of course he knows our names, we had our apprentice ceremony not too long ago” Owlpaw responds. “Though I’m not too sure of his...” “It’s Frazzlepaw” Nettlepaw said, “his name is Frazzlepaw. And he’s my friend.”

(It's all good. XD I didn't leave much to respond to anyways. That sure sounds exciting. Frazzlepaw will probably end up tangled up in the whole event.)
Frazzlepaw didn't look back, but heard Nettlepaw's words. He warmed from the edge of his nose all the way to his tail tip. The cold of the snow was momentarily forgotten when he heard those words. He is my friend... The young tom smiled. Most cat's found him strange and never took the time to really know him, but other than his sister and his mentor, there was one. Nettlepaw.

</div> [ No problem. I have been busy lately and I will continue to be in the coming two weeks since the end of the semester is coming to an end, which means essays, exams, and final projects ._.
some reason, I always want to type Wolfpaw and I don't know why xD ]
Echoriver and Wolfclaw / lupusalbum99
Echoriver smiled and flickered her tail. She followed his gaze to the fresh-kill pile and she let out a wince, "Leafbare is rough," she meowed with a quiet sigh. Prey was scarce and even caught prey wasn't the best, especially after being frozen overnight. She glanced around camp, watching the rest of clan awake before she looked back to Wolfclaw. "Of course," she meowed and padded over to the large tom, plopping down right to him. "Are you nervous about today?" she asked, glancing at him with inquiring eyes. Assessments were a reflection of a warrior's ability to train.

I've typed Wolfpaw more times than I care to count. lol))
Wolfclaw nodded his head a bit at her comment on the scarce prey before snatching his up and moving to a slightly less snowy spot to settle down. He crunched into the mostly frozen mouse, his face a mask of concentration as he chewed and thought about her question. "Come now. Have you ever known me to be the nervous type?," he asked teasinly after swallowing a bite. He had been at one point, of course, when he was a new apprentice. He had looked a little underfed for the first moon or so of his apprenticeship before he truly filled out. A runt who had turned into a fine, muscular warrior. And his confidence had built quickly as he grew into what he was. "I'm excited to see what Windpaw has learned and retained. He's a sharp young cat and I know that despite his tendency to be quiet, he's always listening and always wanting to learn more from me."
