"I wouldn't consider myself a conspiracy theorist," Ivy hummed. "It's more like I'm perfectly aware of the fact that adults don't actually know what's best for children and so are angry when children don't comply to their needs." Kenan couldn't even argue about that, and he simply shook his head.
"So! Subject change!" Kenan would have clapped his hands together had he not had an arm around his friend. He didn't want to jostle her, and she was content not to bother him. "Um, I have absolutely no topics."
"I can talk about how you're so dumb when you're also so smart," Ivy snickered, still a little bit stuck on the fact that he had such large plans for the future, and yet was still blindly optimistic towards most everything. It amused her and infuriated her at once.

Jay had to admire Aylen for her constant appearance of happiness. It was nice seeing someone who found joy in what they liked to do. Her little sister hardly ever seemed to be happy about things, and when she was, it certainly wasn't because of her, so it was nice that someone in her life could have the courage to be happy. "Of course you did," she said honestly, smiling at her. "You brought this extra cheer to the cheerleading squad. It was nice."

Call me David.
Twas a rather dreary Monday. Though the sun was shining and the grass warm, the inevitable of the arrival at Fairfield hung over my head like one of those things that go on a baby's crib. Though the building shone on the hill like the crown on a head, it had a dreary look to it. Perhaps that is my imagination manipulating my thoughts into this projection of doom?
But what was I to do once inside? It would take a strong will to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the hall, and methodically knocking people’s hats off. No no that is not it. Perhaps I should draw my hood and pretend to be invisible? No, I should search for a guide to lead me through this bizarre land full of mystical creatures... one resembling a warty toad. though who am I to judge? Perhaps they are considered a handsome devil in their species.

Drake just so happened to love becoming an accidental guide to newbies. He had a friendly effect on people and liked to meet people and make new friends, so it just seemed kind of obvious that he would slip into greeting anybody new that he might accidentally bump into, or even purposely approach. On this day, however, Drake was a bit in the dumps, but was struggling hard to pull himself back out of it. Of course, that was usually a losing fight, and he now found himself shuffling through the halls.

During my adventurous struggle through the mosh pit, I came across a young male no older than I. I recognized him as the usually cheerful kid who looked as if there wasnt a cloud in the sky. The thing about him today was his grim expression as it looked if he wasnt having the greatest of mornings, or of days in general.
I decided it would be my duty to cheer him up. Then I realized he most likely had friends who could do it.
We made eye contact. NONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!!!
