Crowfang watched her, his gaze calculating while she wasn’t paying attention. He watched her movements, judging internally about how he would have moved left rather than right, and how he would have stopped his tail movements while hers twitched, she was far from perfect, and that thought made him smile. (This is such a run-on sentence fml) Although, he was sure that had the bird been in full health that she wouldn’t have been able to catch it on her own, he said nothing of it. “Nice catch,” He chimed after she spoke, smiling at her while his thoughts still churned deep down. “I’ll get the next one,” He promised, his gaze certain.

Silverdapple had continued to run, her lungs bursting with adrenaline when she heard his heavy footfalls behind her. She heard his words, and twisted her head to look back at him with a mischievous glance. “If only I knew!” She called back, another laugh escaping her as she began to slowly decrease her pace. After a few moments, she had slowed to a trot, her chest heaving slightly after she caught her breath. It had been awhile since she’d ran so far, and so fast, but she’d loved every minute of it. The surrounding area was pretty, small trees and bushes covering the floor, and the mountainside was off and to the right of them, the trees eventually dispersing into rock-side. She turned to look at Silas, a small smile on her face, “do you think this will work?” She asked softly, her ears angled to listen for any sounds of prey.

Flinttail glanced at Foxflight and twitched his whiskers is amusement at the other tom's embarrassment at mentioning wanting kits. "Maybe one day you'll have kits of your own." The small tom said in encouragement. Flinttail had never pictured himself having kits of his own before, he knew that they were an important part of the clan and brought joy and happiness, but he always felt that he would never be a good enough father. Plus with his gruff and quiet behavior he was sure that no one would be interested in him anyway and had never pictured himself having a mate either. He followed Foxflight's gaze as Sundance and Ripplewave passed by them and left camp. Interesting he thought, though he shrugged it off, she was a mysterious she-cat that was for sure. Flinttail was then taken aback by Foxflight's comment and how serious he was. "Oh, um, of course." he stammered, probably sounding like a mouse-brain. He never thought that one of his clanmates would ever have this much trust in him and it was a bit strange to him, yet it also felt...nice. He met the other tom's eyes. "I know it worries you and I'm sure it worries Sundance as well therefore I'd never even consider telling anyone else what we know, it's no place of mine to do that."

{ Hi guys! Sorry for disappearing for two days. My mom’s been home (not common right now since she works so far away) and I’ve been really enjoying focusing on our time together. Tomorrow I have easter plans but hopefully I’ll at least be able to semi-regularly check in.
