(Hey just gonna jump in and throw some ideas for Crow into this conversation  So a lot of the time when a person at least develops psychopathic traits such as unfeeling or not feeling genuine connection with others, it’s because of childhood trauma- not being given enough physical affection, or ignored, neglected in someway, maybe something like that could have happened to Crow? It could be interesting because it could allow for others to get involved in the plot by being members of Crow’s family or something??) |

I feel like we need to invent a field of study called “theoretical psychology” which is like theoretical physics but basically just like “can they do this?” “how would a person with x disorder react to this?” “where does the limit to the lack of emotions exist?” (because the limit does exist for some people, cady heron)
AGHJG obv a passion of mine, as I’ve stated before.
[EDIT: although I imagine a class or seminar on the subject would quickly devolve into everyone just being all “why am i like this”]
But ANYWAY

Alright well what would you guys label him under then? I used sociopath because I remembered a story a long time ago that covered what being a sociopath was and i felt that fit better than psychopath in my head at least. I however have never studied psych to degree where I know all the bits and pieces as to know if sociopath and psychopath coexist as a single meaning or not. The word psychopath didn't even pop into my head actually. So if that's what you guys are keen on labeling him then that's okay.

<-•Ryse•-> here you go at last. Frostpaw parted from his mentor with a few nods and hurried words. It seemed that there would be no training today. Which was quite odd to the apprentice really. But at this age, it would be obvious that training wouldn't be at the forefront as much as it used to be. Frostpaw was quite already skilled after all! Naturally he wouldn't need to train much harder than any other apprentice. No, he already thought himself above the rest! Inwardly there was a menacing laugh played within the tom's head. Though that little streak of thoughts was silenced once he'd noticed Softpaw. His prior chipper air dropped. It wasn't too often he'd seen the apprentice look as upset as she was, but after she'd lost her mother and her father injured moons later... maybe this somber air was only expected. It wasn't often that a deputy was injured enough to be demoted from their duties, right? Which only meant that the injury Cinderspark procured was only that much more awful than at first expected.. With a small huff, the white and silver tom padded over to his apprentice companion. "Hey Softpaw, you busy?" He greeted her, a curious expression plastered on his face. Already a plan was in place here. Of course she wouldn't be busy and then he'd get her busy, right? At least for him, working kept a load off of his mind. All he's been doing is training and working hard since sickness took his only family from him.. and it seemed to be a good coping mechanism back then.. so maybe the very same could help the she-cat too? He hoped so.

In my case too. But the story I read too had to do with a young child being a sociopath. So comparing that to an adult sociopath may be a bit harder for me to say. Considering I only have very base knowledge on psych myself. I haven't taken a class on it in like 4 years and even then my attendance was rocky so lol

{ AGH so I was going to rp today but things happened. First my computer was being really buggy and slow so I couldn’t use the browser on it to rp. Then I was like “eh, I’ll just wait til later cause i’m always the most creative at night” but then it wasn’t just night it was late and then it took me THREE hours to get everything set up for the night (I’m mom to five pets right now sooo) but I was still like “nah I can do it” and WOULDNT YOU KNOW
I hurt my thumb (not serious don’t worry fam) in a way I’m going to refrain from describing because it’s like a full body cringe just to think about. Actually I believe it was used as a traditional Chinese method of torture so there’s that. So now I have a band aid on and can only type with one hand and on my phone and at 3:30 in the morning and.....
It’s been a hell of a night.
So I’ll try to post tomorrow instead lmao. Love you guys. }

Was gonna try to rp today but Nintendo direct happened and I had work at 6 (now) so I didn't have a lot of time to do much of anything..
New info on games I was interested in and a new title being announced made my night pretty good though. :3
After tonight unless I'm called I work next is Sunday. So I'll have time to get back into the rping stuff very soon. ]

noble. then I think alou getting involved would be interesting. A bit more interesting imo if she gets involved with clan cats beforehand too. I know she had interactions before but I think they were with members not here now? Or deleted characters. Rip alou tbh  also yes on baybones death then!! I'm excited for the development of Milk. ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ here you go! sorry for the wait i forgot i had to start xD ] Silverstar returned to her den with yet another sigh. Which seemed to be what she's been doing a lot of lately. Not that the lavender-eyed leader could help it. Since she became leader it seemed like almost nothing wanted to go exactly right.. and it's not that she expected it to be so easy but she couldn't ever remember Hawkstar's leadership being so cruel to him. Since she became leader she's already lost a deputy in battle, and now her second choice is facing early retirement from the looks of it. Would it have been better if she didn't have a deputy? None of her clanmates would have to suffer so under her leadership if she didn't.. right? Inwardly the she-cat shook her head. She knew it was nonsense she was brewing. But she couldn't help but feel at fault for it all. This fox attack was only a start in what would come if she didn't choose a deputy sooner, she knew it. But it always came back to the fact that she didn't feel she could trust anyone in the clan the way she did Cinderspark. Part of her was foolhardily hopeful that the tom would suddenly walk off his leg injury and be okay. What a mousebrain she was. The she-cat's tail flicked back and forth with nervousness. Of course she remained calm, but she couldn't shake off the apprehension that weighted in her paws.
