Ripplewave has just finished grooming his pelt, a bored yawn escaping his jaw as he gazed around blankly. He was rather enjoying the silence without his brother around, who had gone out with some others on a patrol. Of course, Heronclaw had wasted no time in bothering Ripplewave to come with him, nagging about how Ripplewave never wanted to do anything with any others. The Tom rolled his eyes to himself, a small amused snort leaving him as the thoughts skittered through his mind. He enjoyed the silence though, and continued to watch the clan life as they mulled about.

Sundance let out a small noise of annoyance as the kits in her belly shifted, feeling their tiny paws kick. She couldn’t wait to have them—it had been so long since she’d felt completely like herself. She knew she’d be tired when they arrived, but at least she’d have her body back to herself. She smiled at the thought. She looked around to see who was in camp, noticing her brother talking with Flinttail by the camp entrance. She twitched an ear at the sight; her brother had mentioned the black-furred tom more than once—not to mention the time they’d caught her on her way to meet Cory. Ah, yes. Cory. She hadn’t seen him in moons now, and though she missed him she was finally okay with the fact that he was gone. She blinked the memories from the front of her mind, returning her attention to her clanmates. Ripplewave was nearby; she had seen him grooming a moment ago but it seemed he was done now. She knew the tom was quiet and preferred the be alone, but she was bored and a bit stir crazy so she heaved herself to her paws and padded over, sitting down beside him without a word but with a soft smile on her face as she gazed out across the camp.

ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ im finally home and im exhausted so im not gonna rp yet i think?? until i can get my energy back lolol but SPOILERS BECAUSE IT'S LONG i was waiting to really try and respond to you because i'm really liking the idea that their pasts were intertwined like that bc I LOVE making backstories for my characters that correspond with other characters lol
But my reason for holding off on actually being all yeah!! is just because i've kept it as Silas just appeared in aetherclan and decided he likes it and stays for that reason, so it kind of goes against what we're saying here... but obviously that past can be changed because it's not like i created him knowing we were going to do this, right? More or less creating him knowing he's had a horrible past xD
so what i'm thinking is, perhaps the clan found out what happened because of Silver's/Aqua's father, they attacked and drove the rogue group out, in the moment that they appeared, Silas took this as his chance to escape from the group. Is the one that helps bring Silver back to camp by direction of the past clan Leader Hawkstar(?) and then leaves immediately after out of guilt for the situation that happened? And because he hated what he used to do so much that he willingly forgets that he's done it and that's why he really had no recollection of AetherClan afterwards and thought he just lived his life as a normal loner from then on? And then from there on, meeting Silverdapple is why he's suddenly remembering things again and that's why all of this is like... heavy on him and probably causing him a panic attack like it is right now??? lol???
I hope i'm making sense I'M JUST HELLA EXCITED AT CONFIRMING THEIR PAST ASdfghjk]

I’m honestly laughing at ripplewave’s reaction rn ѕρσσкуѕку } Ripplewave stiffened at the sound of Sundance’s heavy pawsteps nearing him and shifted his paws awkwardly as she flopped down next to him. His eyes were wide with unseen emotions as he shot a quick glance toward her smiling face. He felt slightly uncomfortable, more so than he normally was with the very pregnant and pretty she-cat. Wait... pretty? Where did that come from? He internally shoved the thought far, far away. Wondering if he should say something? She had obviously come to sit by him for a reason, as there were still many other clanmates in the camp, maybe she just wanted to sit down... directly next to him? He decided to wait for her to speak, if she wanted to. He would happily remain silent if she didn’t say anything. |

ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ i'm honestly okay with it too!! and yess!! still a bit of long text I was also thinking that the rogue group being chased out the first time around could also be the core reason why they return :3 I'm also thinking like.. what if Aqua is actually in AetherClan territory because she came looking for Silverdapple, without knowing if she was alive or not since they ended up seperated. Mei manages to track Aqua down and subsequently realizes where she's lead her/the group and that's when things get all.. messed up i guess?? lol
Because it fits in more with the idea that Mei is all fake and going along with Crow's idea of taking over when in fact, she's going in knowing she's going to betray him and take her own revenge on the clan for humiliating her the last time? I wanna believe she hecked off for a long time trying to act like what happened in AetherClan never happened until well, Aqua leads them back. Since Mei wants Aqua to take over the group after despite her never showing interest in such a thing. I'd like to think Mei would have a soft spot for Aqua and probably Silverdapple because they were the ones of their other siblings that 'lived' and therefore she sees them as her true children? And acts as if the other kits didn't matter? She's gotta be down right evil okay i know it sounds nasty xD ]

Instead, she just turned her head back away and kept talking. “At least I think it is. It can be hard to tell from in here.” She gave a wistful sigh, her eyes clouding with longing. “I haven’t been out to the meadow in so long....” she trailed off, lost in the image of running through the flowers with Firesky.

Ripplewave almost gulped when she began speaking, he hadn’t expected her to, though he wasn’t sure what he really had expected. He listened to her intently, though he didn’t make eyes contact with her. His own aqua gaze was scanning the camp, almost looking for a way out of conversation but finding nothing. Finally, he turned to look at her, tilting his head slightly while his aqua gaze examined her swollen belly. “Erm... how are you feeling?” He asked her, the words coming out gentle for the normally silent Tom. He wasn’t sure how to talk to others, but he knew that Sundance was already a fierce enough she-cat without the annoyance of hardly being able to walk on her side. “‘Cause maybe we could... I dunno, I could walk you outside or.. or something,” he offered. He blinked slowly and his ears twitched uncomfortably, but he sent her an awkward smile. She seemed very nice, from what he could tell, and talking to Heronclaw all the time was such a drag. It’s not like the black coated Tom had anything else to do at the time anyways.
