Silas's eyes widened for a moment. Was it truly healthy for him to stay like this? Missing and longing for one not of this world anymore? He wanted to ask the she-cat but knew better than that. Even in this state he knew well that the she-cat wouldn't have the answers for that.. and he shouldn't expect her to anyways. The tom was left without words, shifting his paws as his gaze met the greenery at their paws. His ears pricked once Silverdapple spoke again. Confusion clouding his eyes. "I'm grateful that you'd ask but isn't that.." He began, the tom fumbled trying to find the words. From being mates with a clan cat it was obvious that he'd learned at least a few of the customs. Their love being labeled forbidden. In fact anything to do with outsiders was almost always forbidden.. The loner couldn't hide the confusion and concern that he felt for the she-cat before him. "Isn't that not allowed? Why would you risk helping me?" He had to ask as he tried to meet her gaze. He had to say it. Silas appreciated this she-cat for what she'd done for him already. But to risk her own image back at the clan to help him even more.. He couldn't stand the idea that he'd ruin the life of yet another AetherClan cat. |

{ Hello everyone. You may know me or not, as I’m not sure who’s joined since I last posted here. In case you don’t know, my name is Spotted and I’m one of the original members of the clan. I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression lately so I’ve been absent but I’ve spoken with Fireh and I’m coming back to be a proper member again.
I’ve already chatted with Ryse and Ice, so they already know I’m coming back, and Ice and I decided to rp Crowfang and Fallingsnow.
All of my other characters are open (and I’ll post a list of them soon), so if anyone wants to rp I’d be happy to.

{ ღ ιcєƒιяє ღ Here’s the starter, my love } Fallingsnow padded into camp after a long walk mixed with a bit of solo hunting. She had managed to catch a squirrel and a finch, but had lost the vole she had been stalking when by chance a nearby bird had rustled through the leaves and startled it. Still, two pieces of prey was better than nothing, and she was grateful to have contributed something to the clan that day. |

Crowfang noticed Fallingsnow enter the camp, his ears twitched with interest. The Tom was bored, and he couldn’t remember if he’d talked to her before. Although, he wasn’t sure if he cared all that much either... with a shrug he stood and produced a large, bored yawn before padding over to her. “Nice catches,” He meowed to her.

She set down the fresh-kill. “ Thank you,” she replied with a small appreciative smile. She didn’t want to seem rude just because she was surprised. “ Not my best work, but every bit is important,” she added with a shrug. |

Crowfang nodded in agreement, “any prey is better than no prey. With the warm months coming, prey will only get better,” he pointed out. The black and white Tom examined her for a moment, his bright green eyes looking closely. “Too bored to go out for another hunt?” He finally asked.

Fallingsnow smiled wider. “Thats exactly what I said to myself,” she replied. She watched his eyes study her for a long but brief moment. “Never,” she purred, a playful light shining in her eyes. “Where were you thinking?” she asked. This time of year there was seemingly nowhere that prey couldn’t be found if you tried hard enough.

Crowfang almost couldn’t keep up with her cheerful attitude, clearing his throat awkwardly he returned the grin, although it looked silly on his face. “Maybe we could go to the valley?” He offered, feeling strange to be having a normal conversation with his clanmate. It was probably a good thing though, his scheming could be put to the side for one day... he supposed.

Fallingsnow nodded, noticing that the grin he returned was strange in some way she couldn’t quite identify. She pushed the thought away, though, and mewed, “Sure!” in response. Without waiting for anything he had to say, she picked up the prey she has brought and took it to the fresh-kill pile, then ttrotted back toward the entrance to camp. Once out the door, she sped up until she was almost running, never once looking back to see if he was following.

Crowfang followed her quick pace, his long legs pushing him straight past her in a dark blur as he pelted in the direction of the valley. The wind rushing through his fur felt nice, but the Tom has been through enough to realize that these feelings were nothing compared to power. His claws itched, but he ignored it and skidded to a halt near the valley

Fallingsnow let out an indignant yelp when Crowfang overtook her so easily, pushing herself even harder so she could at least keep up with him. She reveled in the warmer temperature, excited for when the territory would be in full greenleaf. She slowed down just before they arrived, watching in amusement as the tom skidded to a halt. “So, what do you think?” she began, trying to catch her breath. “Should we hunt solo or together?” Hunting had always been one of her favorite activities, so she really didn’t mind either way.

Fallingsnow nodded back, a flick of her tail revealing her anticipation. Just then she heard a rustle in the undergrowth around one of the last trees before the forest gave way to the valley. A quick scent check told her it was a squirrel. Silently, she flicked her ears toward it to alert Crowfang.

Silverdapple shook her head, looking amused. “No ones going to miss me, honestly. I could be gone for days, it’d be okay, trust me. Come on!” She meowed softly, trying to keep the bitterness out of her voice. She smiled at him, standing up and stretching before heading towards him in the direction across the border. She tried not to idle on his sadness, she wanted it to be a fun day, for both of them.

Crowfang nodded at her, showing her that he had seen it and flicked his ears in the direction behind the squirrel, showing her he would chase the morsel in her direction. He slipped easily into the bushes, disappearing quickly. He crept silently, his big size not disturbing anything on the ground as he moved behind the creature.

Fallingsnow crouched and crept toward the creature, careful to avoid the undergrowth. She saw Crowfang’s path ahead of him and switched directions, slinking around to cut off the little animal’s escape route. Whichever of them pounced, there would be claws waiting if it tried to run.

{ truuue! I got outta work early today and I’m so HAPPY now. I was grumpy all day at work and just like... meh don’t talk to me. And then I left and I was like BLESS haha }
Crowfang’s gaze flicked over to his companion before they focused back on the prey in front of him. He crouched lower, wiggling his rump before letting out a loud yowl and launching himself at the prey. His paws landed behind it as it skirted off with a terrified squeak directly towards Fallingsnow.

Fallingsnow watched and recognized the tom’s plan, crouching lower into the ground so their prey wouldn’t see her before Crowfang could get to it. At his yowl, she tensed, readying herself, then leapt onto it as it fled right into her path. She killed it swiftly and padded over to the other warrior. “Nice job,” she mewed through its fur. “It ran straight at me.”

Crowfang felt a ripple of satisfaction run through him as her claws met its fur, and he grinned another goofy looking grin at her. “Nice job to you as well, clean kill,” He meowed softly. He was trying to not get too distracted, but thinking about how he’d plan all this out was exhausting sometimes, even the black and white Tom had to take a break from his mischievous plans at some point. Killing prey was the way to do it, and it wouldn’t get him in any trouble.

{ well I know that he will run into Aqua’s/Silverdapple’s mom I think and then she is in charge of a rogue group that he wants to have them help him take down the clan and Silverstar. It’s been a while since we talked about it honestly, I might make a group chat with all of us so we can solidify the plan. }
