Brambleclan Our Legacy Lives On! (Open!)

The medicine cat was glad the tom decided not to argue against telling her – after all, she was rather stubborn, and arguments with her could be rather drawn out and stressful. And the last thing Ripplestar needed was more stress. Upon hearing the description of his dream, the she-cat let out a soft hum, closing her eyes and pressing her muzzle into her chest in thought. Were there dangers nearby threatening kits? Were the kits part of the clan that were taken from the clan, or ones that would eventually be brought in through the clan’s kit-stealing practice.

Nightshade assumed it was the latter, since no good leader would have to be told to help the kits of their clan if they had been taken to the twoleg place. And Ripplestar was most definitely a good leader to Brambleclan.

”It could possibly mean that there are kits that need to be brought into the clan from the twoleg place.” She spoke softly, the tip of her tail slowly flicking as she reopened her eyes to look at the grey tom. ”If the dangers you dream of are there, and the kits have no home, they would most definitely need help.” And she knew the dangers of the twoleg place were real. Dogs could easily kill kits with their pack mentality, rogues tended not to care too much for something so burdensome, groups of rogues were even worse, twolegs themselves could tie them in a bag and carelessly toss them in a swift flowing river...

The she-cat steeled herself, making the sadness in her eyes disappear as she scratched the last danger from her thoughts. She had another cat to converse with, now was not the time to reminisce. ”Though sadly, prophecies are often only clear after they have come to pass. We may not know the true answer to your questions for a while.” Licking one paw, she asked the one question that had to be asked any time there was a possible prophetic dream. ”Did you recognize the voice as one of the members of Starclan?”

Maplefrost enter camp with two mice in her mouth, she gently placed them on the fresh kill pile and looked around camp. Her brown tabby pelt rippled as she stretched out her limbs, her mouth dropping open as she let out a big yet quiet yawn. She sat down next to the pile and looked around for something to eat, the tip of her tail twitching up and down.

Boulderfoot was guarding the camp entrance, his plump gray tail wrapped securely around him while he sat. His head was slumped down and his eyes were closed. The mouse-brain was asleep! Quiet snores could be heard coming from him, and his body was tense as it tried to support him.

Ivywhisker noticed that Boulderfoot was asleep and walked over. She used her tail to tickle him a little bit.

Boulderfoot twitched a little, he grumbled quietly in his sleep. Suddenly his eyes snapped open and he jumped to his paws, his back arched while his dark gray fur was puffed out in fear. His round amber eyes searched around for danger, when he noticed Ivywhisker he blinked in confusion for a moment.

"Huh? Oh yeah..." Boulderfoot mumbled as he rubbed one of his eyes with his paw, "Uh thanks for waking me up before I got in trouble." he mewed and dipped his head gratefully. Last thing he need was to upset Ripplestar and get himself in big trouble. With his luck he'd probably end up having to do more patrols as punishment, the thought of it made Boulderfoot shudder.

"Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't boring." Boulderfoot huffed, his tail flicking back and forth in annoyance. "Besides, what kind of mouse-brained creature would take a risk attacking here. That would be a death wish!"
