I literally have a perfect view from my bedroom window.
No travel necessary. I've even got the glasses.

My dad got eclipse glasses I'm Vegas. About 85% totality where I live. Unfortunately it's supposed to rain that day. That's alright though. I wasn't even going to buy the glasses, so. I'm not at a place where I'd lose anything either way.

Eh, it's only gonna be partial in my state and it's gonna be cloudy all day so I probably won't see it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's going to be the last one in America ever y'know. Aren't you at least a little upset you won't see it?

I don't really want to risk it, even with the glasses. I mean, should we really trust glasses to protect our eyes that are only $5.00? I'd rather buy the better quality ones. Too bad this doesn't happen often.
I have seen a Lunar Eclipse, though. Beautiful sight.

The only difference I can really notice here is that its way darker (not like night dark but 8 pm dark) and its a little cooler. We couldn't really see much on the sun itself. It looked like someone took a bite out of it but its so bright its hard to look at. Definitely underwhelming imo, I was expecting a lot more, but oh well.

I'm disappointed :,( i made an eclipse viewer and everything, but I couldn't even see it. it was like directly over my house blocked by trees and no matter where I went in my yard you couldn't see it. it was super underwhelming and a huge let down.
