BBefore the Clan cats came, the lake gave home to different, ancient tribes of cats. They had a hierarchy similar to that of the Clans, and they used the Moonpool to communicate with their ancestors. The Ancients scattered well before the Clans ventured to the lake; one of the Ancient Tribes are the ancestors of the Tribe of Rushing Water, the group of cats that live in the mountains. The Clans settled in the lake territories after being driven out of forest by Twolegs. The Clans found the lake after StarClan sent them a sign of a falling star. They divided the land between the Clans, giving each Clan the land that best suited their purposes, ShadowClan in the pine forests, RiverClan near creeks and marshes, ThunderClan in the leafy forest, and WindClan on the moor. Leafpaw discovered the Moonpool, the place where the cats share with StarClan, and the cats started using the island in the lake, that was found by Mothwing of RiverClan, for Gatherings. ● post one - welcome, table of contents ● post two - rules & regulations, acknowledgements ● post three - territories, codes ● post four - battle moves, unique techniques ● post four - clan hierarchy, news & updates ● post four - save Into the Wild - A Vision of Shadows - A Forest Divided - Sign of the Moon Official Five Clans Discord

General Rules ● Know that the rules listed below are not meant to hinder or annoy you, but to save you and other members from future frustrations. With that in mind, do not skip the rules. Read them, and be sure that you understand them before proceeding. Understand that we, the admins of this role-play, can change the rules in accordance to what is needed. If you have any questions regarding these rules, do not be afraid to come forward with your inquiries. ● We have what are known as 'Clan Systems' here. These guidelines play an integral part regarding how this role-play functions and proceeds, so be sure to read through them. Member Requirements ● In this role-play, quality is valued over quantity. If you are considering joining, we simply ask that you be sure of your ability to reply with appropriate response lengths, detail, and are capable of creating and pulling off intricate plots, all while maintaining proper timing and grammar. ● While staff members within this role-play are required to be active for at least six days a week, regular members without high positions are required to be active for at least four days a week. Remember that out of character chat does not count towards your activity, and that the staff here will be keeping a close eye on your status and level of activity. Every two weeks there will be an activity check, and inactive members will be dealt with in accordance to breaking this rule. If you cannot remain a member of this role-play, please notify the staff so that we may remove you, and free up characters. If you require a hiatus, you will not receive any negative consequences because of your inactivity. Joining ● Do not manipulate the joining form provided here in any way, either by personalizing it to your own preference, or by simply disregarding the coding altogether. If you do not understand the coding or are encountering issues regarding it, please voice this concerns, as we will gladly help you understand and fix the problem. ● LBGTQ+ characters are all welcomed here. ● Feel free to create relations between your characters and those of other members here. Do not, however, proceed to do this if you do not have the explicit permission of the opposing character's creator. Along with this, we also ask that you refrain from attempting to join with your own character's romantic interest. ● When creating your character, make sure that their design falls in line with that of actual genetics. Do not exceed what is believably possible in the make-up of a cat. If you cannot provide evidence to support your character's design, then you will be required to change it. ● As this is not a strictly romance-oriented role-play, the characters that you join with are required to have an alternative purpose aside from finding a mate, falling in love, and having kits. If this is your motivation for joining this role-play, then we advise that you find a different, more suitable role-play to support your goals. Consequences ● If a member violates or breaks a rule for the first time, they will be issued a warning. Two warnings will equal a star. A star is not something that you want to receive here, as you may only have five stars before being deleted from the role-play. You may rejoin once and will automatically start on the second star. Now, when a member gets to the second star, they cannot "attend" the gathering and their characters must remain in camp for the next two days. For the third star, their apprentices may have an additional training session added on before they become a warrior. If they do not have an apprentice but have a warrior acting as a mentor, that warrior's apprentice will be assigned a new mentor for a week, and their character may become sick or receive punishment. If the member happens to have both an apprentice and an acting mentor, the admin may decide on which approach to then take. When a fourth star is issued, it will result in a repeat of previous punishments, and a week's suspension from the clan. Now, if the member has joined two clans, the two residing admins will then discuss if this will affect both clans or just the one. If they show a better attitude in the other clan, your punishment it will only proceed in the clan they're not doing as well in. Finally, the fifth star will result in deletion. If a member rejoins after being deleted once, they cannot have any special plots, positions, or even apprentices until two weeks in. If the member continues to improve beyond those two weeks, then the admins can discuss the possibility of cleaning their slate.

The territory for the Clans have changed due to the addition of SkyClan. Please take time to look through, as you may be reprimanded if it becomes obvious you have not looked through the information on the front page. The Lake territory for RiverClan does not have any name by Twolegs. However, the Twoleg names for the borders are Littlepine Road, Littlepine Sailing Center, and Whitechurch Road. The territory includes the River Alba. Landmarks here include: ➤ Greenleaf Twolegplace - During greenleaf, Twolegs come here to swim noisily. ➤ Halfbridge - A peculiar bridge that ends halfway in the water. Twoleg boats are anchored to it. ➤ Lakeshore - RiverClan owns the south to western part of the lake shore. ➤ Camp - Like the other camp, this camp is tucked away on a piece of land surrounded by two streams, making it well-defended.
The camp is full of lush trees and streams full of fish. There is a main stream that joins a smaller one, and on that triangle of land, RiverClan's camp resides. In the camp, there is a nest of brambles which is where the nursery is. It is strongly reinforced. In other thickets are the elder's and leader's den. The medicine's den is behind a thorn bush and overhangs the stream. The earth was washed away, leaving a pool in the roots and a hole in the bank. This is essential for the medicine cat who can store their supplies and get fresh water any time. There aren't as many shiny things as the old camp, but Twolegs often leave behind shiny things that the cats can use to decorate their nests. However, they have to be careful, as not all Twoleg things are safe for them. The ShadowClan forest territory is located in an area that Twolegs call the Sadler Woods. The territory also includes Twoleg places such as the Hareview Campsite, the Sanctuary Cottage, and borders called Littlepine Road and the Littlepine Sailing Center. Landmarks in this territory include: ➤ Twoleg Nest - Home to two aggressive kittypets: Susan and Jacques. If they catch Clan cats out alone, they attack immediately. ➤ Small Thunderpath - There is a thunderpath that leads to the greenleaf twolegplace in RiverClan's territory. It acts as a border between RiverClan and ShadowClan. ➤ Lakeshore - ShadowClan owns the north-western part of the lake shore. ➤ Camp - Closer to Twolegs than in the old Forest territory, but it is well hidden and difficult for attacking enemies.
The camp has a small pool nearby, so the cats don't have to go all the way to the bottom of the lake to fetch water for elders or for the medicine cats. The actual camp is in a tangle of brambles, with low-hanging branches all around and above it. These brambles and branches help protect against badgers and other big creatures. Many trees surround the camp, enabling cats to climb up them and see the antics of the Twolegs on water. From these trees, the cats can see all the Twolegs and their boats in the water. The entrance of the camp is through a thorn tunnel, and brambles. At the camp entrance is a large boulder, which cats have to slip past to enter the camp clearing. There is a clear progression of dens from one side of the clearing to the other which are all in bramble thickets. The nursery is first, then the apprentices, then warriors, then the leader, and finally the elders at the end of the circle. This structure enables the kits and elders closest to the low-hanging branches and the warriors facing the entrance, if any kind of trouble. The medicine den is in a far corner, beyond the leader's den. It is a sandy, hollowed-out floor covered in dried pine needles. There, the branches aren't so bunched together, letting the medicine cats examine the skies for omens. Above the leader's den, there is a hazel branch that hangs over. This serves as a kind of vantage point for the leader to address their Clan. The Lake territory for SkyClan is located in Sadler and Hare Hill Woods. They reside in pieces of territory formerly owned by ThunderClan and ShadowClan as the two Clans gave up part of their territory for SkyClan to live beside the lake. Landmarks include: ➤ Greenleaf Twolegplace - Another place Twolegs inhabit during greenleaf. The Twolegs put up small dens and light terrifying fires. However, they also leave behind food much like the food found at the old Carrionplace. This was formerly a ShadowClan landmark. ➤ Halfbridge - A peculiar bridge that ends halfway in the water. Twoleg boats are anchored to it. RiverClan has a similar one in their territory. Despite this, ShadowClan tries to take it back. ➤ Twoleg Path - During greenleaf, Twolegs tramp along these paths all season. ➤ Camp - SkyClan makes their camp in a large hollow near the clearing. ➤ The Clearing - A training hollow that also houses an abundance of herbs.
The camp is slightly open, allowing the cats to see if a Clan is intruding. However, ferns, bracken, and thorns provide some cover and protection. The dens are varies hollowed logs, ranging in size and species of wood. They have a rock near the leader's den which they've named Sky Rock. The warriors and apprentices den are near the entrance. The leaders den resides next to the warriors den and faces the medicine cat den. The nursery and elders den are in the back with the most cover, offering shelter from the weather and making the elders, queens, and kits comfortable. The Lake territory for ThunderClan is called the Hare Hill Woods by Twolegs. Twoleg landmarks nearby include the Hareview Campsite, Abandoned Workman's House, Quarry Road, and the Quarry. Landmarks here include: ➤ An abandoned Twoleg Nest - Herbs and prey thrive here, though it has an ominous feeling inside. ➤ Sky Oak - An ancient oak where squirrels love to call home. It also has an old rabbit burrow inside. It is where ThunderClan apprentices practice their climbing skills. ➤ Lakeshore - ThunderClan has the north-eastern portion of the lake. ➤ Old Thunderpath - Marked with blue Twoleg markers, cats often stay away from this road. ➤ Camp - The camp is well protected by the side of a cliff, and surrounded by a thorn barrier.
At the bottom of an old cliff, this camp is very well protected. The walls around the camp are smooth, indicating Twolegs cut this place moons ago. The cliffs also help keep out the wind. A thorn barrier guards the camp; any cat that wants to come in has to get past. A ledge peeks out from the cliff. That is the Highledge where the leader speaks. A cave near the top is the leader's den. The apprentice's den is also a cave in the rocks while the warrior den is under a big thornbush. The medicine cat's den is another cave, but this time hidden by bramble tendrils. Like the previous camp, the nursery is highly guarded, and under a big bramble thicket reinforced with thick roots woven together for protection. Lastly, the elder's den is in a hazel bush, and later rebuilt under the boughs of a beech tree and reinforced with honeysuckle. The Lake territory for WindClan is called Hare Hill by Twolegs. The borders of the Clan have Twoleg names, such as the Hare Hill Riding Stables and Hare Hill road. Landmarks here include: ➤ Moonpool Stream - A stream marking WindClan's Northern border, which is shared with ThunderClan. Leads up to the Moonpool. ➤ Horseplace - The fence of Horseplace marks the Southern border of WindClan. Their heavy hooves make cats stay away from them. ➤ Lakeshore - WindClan is located on the south-eastern shore of the lake. ➤ Camp - A shallow scoop in the ground open to the sky.
A giant boulder resides in the center of the camp. This is called the Tallrock, where the leader makes his speeches. A gorse bush against the rock is the nursery. In another boulder is the medicine cat's den. The leader, apprentices, warriors sleep in the center underneath the sky, although in bad weather, they retreat in burrows made by rabbits, foxes or badgers. There is an old badger set where the elders sleep. ● Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. ● Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory. ● Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. ● Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. ● A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. ● Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. ● A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. ● The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires. ● After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. ● A gathering of all five Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time. ● Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. ● No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan. ● The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code. ● An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense. ● A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet. ● Medicine cats may cross borders and territories, especially when helping another Clan. ● Medicine cats cannot have a mate nor kits. ● To protect themselves and patients, medicine cats must learn battle moves. ● Medicine cats must do everything they can to help a cat or kit in need. ● A medicine cat may only retire when their apprentice is ready to take their place.

● Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws. ● Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control. ● Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed. ● Front Paw Strike - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent. ● Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. ● Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed. ● Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers. ● Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position. ● Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponents neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them. ● Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance. ● Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight. ● Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed. ● Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent. ● Badger Defense - Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers. ● Duck and Twist - Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws. ● Jump and Pin - Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat. ● Double-Front-Paw Slap-Down - Splash water into the enemy's face with your front paws, temporarily blinding them. ● Underwater Leg Sweep - Crouch under water, holding your breath. Then, sweep the legs from under your enemy as their head is raised above water-level; they struggle for breath, as other Clan cats naturally panic underwater. ● Push-Down and Release - Wrestle your enemy under water. Keep their head below water-level until they surrender, as other Clan cats don't know to hold their breath underwater. ● Underwater Clinch - Use your enemy's weight to hold them underwater. With a firm grip, raise them to the air so they can breathe, then send them under again. Do this repeatedly until the enemy gives up. ● Tail Splash - Similar to the Double Front-Paw Slap-Down, splash the water into your opponent's eyes with your tail, temporarily blinding them. ● Underwater Push-Off - Holding your breath, crouch below the water's surface. Aim an accurate pounce to the warrior on the water's edge, knocking them off-balance; the element of surprise should win you this battle. ● Rushpaw Splash - Flick a splash of water at a distance to create a decoy for the enemy, leaving room for a surprise attack. While ShadowClan does not have any unique battle moves known, they have what is called a night ambush. Below are the steps to use this tactic correctly. ● Hide in the shadows of the night with your patrol and your enemy spotted. ● Make sure your scent isn't drifting toward the attackers. ● Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the attack signal. ● Strike your enemy fast and hard; the enemy will be caught off-guard with a battle at night. ● Cut off all your enemy's escape routes, encircling them with your patrol. ● If they try to attack, battle again. If they do not, let them through with a warning. ● Sky-Crusher - Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Land squarely on the enemy, claws unsheathed. ● Flick-Over - Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Land with all four paws outstretched on your enemy. Knock the opponent's feet from under him. Flip the enemy over to their belly; pin them to the ground until they surrender. ● The Kick - Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Kick the enemy as you near the ground. Use the momentum of the fall to spring backward before the enemy has time to attack. ● The Slice - Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Drop with claws unsheathed for maximum injury. ● The Branch Swing - Hold on to a branch with front claws as your back paws rake your enemy's face. ● The Reverse Branch Swing - Hold on to a branch with back claws as your front paws rake your enemy's face. ● The Trunk Spring - Balance on a thin branch; make no sound. Slide down the trunk of your tree. Spring off the trunk with your back legs at head height to clear an enemy. This is best when the tree is surrounded. ● The Reverse Climb - Pace backward as the enemy advances. Climb backward up the trunk to escape enemy; often followed by the Trunk Spring. Like ShadowClan, ThunderClan has special battle tactics instead of battle "moves." These two tactics are called lightning strike and forest attack. First is forest attack. ● Move quietly and communicate with signals. Cracking twigs, startled birds, and rustling bracken will tell the enemy exactly where you are. ● Keep downwind of the trespassers so that your scent doesn't give you away. ● Look for freshly broken twigs, overturned leaves on the forest floor, remains of prey, or a clump of fur caught on a bramble. Any animal that moves through the forest leaves behind signs that its passed by-and signs like this could lead you straight to the invaders. ● Keep your mouth open to search for unfamiliar scents. Be careful: if there is scent when there is no breeze to carry it through the forest, it could mean that your enemy is very close by. ● Light-colored pelts are easily seen against brown and green foliage, so stay in the thickest cover. Keep low- the enemy will be looking for movement at normal head height, not close to the ground. ● Never miss an opportunity to perfect your tracking ability. In the nursery, kits sneak up on their mothers and pounce with their moss-soft paws. Apprentices leap out on one another from behind bushes and tree stumps. These are more than just games. One day, these skills could save your life and defend your Clan. This is the lightning strike. ● Crouch behind the enemy with your patrol unseen. ● Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the signal to attack. ● Spring squarely on top of the enemy, aiming for the ears, as they will bleed easily; caught by surprise, they should be easy targets. ● As fast as you attack, retreat back into the undergrowth. ● As the enemy lets its guard down, attack from an opposite angle; do this over and over until the enemy, thinking they are outnumbered, retreats. ● Approach from Above Your Enemy - Gain high-ground. Wait for the leader of the patrol to give the to attack. Charge down your high ground; your enemy will be weakened by having to fight uphill. ● Use the Light from the Sun - Attack your enemy with the sun behind you, which should dazzle the enemy and block their view. ● Know Where the Wind is Coming From - If there is a strong wind, it should blow from behind you; that should hold them back and blur their vision with dust. However, if stalking, make sure the wind is blowing toward you, as it could give away your scent if blowing toward your enemy. ● Conceal the Size of Your Force - Have your attackers in sight from a distance. There are two options: either you can group your warriors together tightly, making you seem like a small attacking force. Your enemy may become overconfident, which is likely to lead to them making poor strategic decisions. Or, if your warriors spread out single-file, it will seem impossible to pass to advancing enemy warriors and may intimidate them. Attack the enemy. ● Attack Both Ends of the Enemy Line First - Attack both ends of your enemy's line, leaving the middle cats to fend on two fronts; this will leave them outflanked, vulnerable, and in disarray. Attack the rest of the enemies until they run. ● Keep Fresh Warriors in Reserve - Always keep strong, fit warriors to replace injured ones. ● Feigned Retreat and Ambush - A group of strong cats screech and attack the enemy line. The group of fit cats retreat; repeat this until the enemy line breaks. Other warriors, usually tunnelers, jump out of rabbit holes and dips in the ground on the other side of the attackers. Attack from both fronts until the enemy surrenders.

The news section can be a bit tricky at first glance. The "Role-play News" is a section for updates and announcements that are outside of the actual role-play. An example would be a new member joining or closing a rank due to overfill. The "Clan News" section summarizes the events of that day, such as fox attacks, new kits, or new warriors. Be sure to check the news often, as the admin of this Clan may have already updated it. Admins, it is mandatory that the news be update once every week on the Gathering dates. You may summarize the entire week, however it is recommended to update every day to every other day depending on the movement of the role-play. This will include updates of all Clans. They will be in their respective colors. Role-play News Date An summary of what happened. Date An summary of what happened. Clan News Date An summary of what happened. Snowthistle | Late-morning | SkyClan
Snowthistle fluffed up her fur she was ready to begin her duties to patrol the area of her Clan. Although she hated the thought of getting her white fluffy pelt messed up. Her ears flickered around as she heard birds singing in the tree's, she only sneered. She didn't like the feathery cretins up in the tree's, she discarded that thought as her tail flicked around as she waited patiently. While she was waiting she decided to wash her face to keep it clean. She wanted to look perfect and not sloppy.

"Should you really be doing that here?" the tabby asked the warrior. "Surely you'll just get more dirt on your pelt. I know you like to remain clean, but we may have to cross a mud puddle or something." She listed off more possibilities, aware she can make Snowthistle snap at any moment. She wasn't fond of the she-cat, but she would deal with her if she absolutely had to.

Snowthistle | Late Morning | SkyClan
Snowthistle ears perked at Basilspring's voice, she stopped cleaning her face to see the tabby warrior. "Ah, alright," she said nonchalantly. She heard the other she-cat questioning why she was cleaning her self the again she only let out an irritated sigh, and her annoyance grew worse with the small tabby she-cat was listing off the possibilities. As much as she hated to admit it, her fellow clan-mate was right, which made her frustrated. "I suppose you're right," she muttered but still loud enough for clan mate to hear. She wasn't happy but she stopped and went up to Basilspring. Her white feathery tail flickered with annoyance.

l a t e - m o r n i n g b a s i l s p r i n g s k y c l a n "Don't flick your tail at me!" the small tabby thought with aggravation. While inside, she was very peeved with the white warrior constantly grooming, she agreed to the patrol and would put up a front. Her eyes didn't betray her thoughts and she looked cheery as usual. "C'mon, let's hurry. I told Sparrowtuft I'd join him for a hunting patrol." Basilspring meowed gently, bounding onward. She was spending a lot of time with the tom lately, or appeared to be trying to.

Snowthistle | Late-Morning | Skyclan
Snowthistle nodded an agreement to the small tabby she-cat she kept her muzzle shut during the patrol she had her suspension that her partner had a a little crush on Sparrowtuft. While she honestly didn't like the she-cat she honestly didn't hate her, to Snowthistle it was honestly fun getting under the she-cat's skin. She decided for now she won't mention anything mostly because she hasn't gotten enough information and didn't want to look like a fool. As they walked Snowthistle's paw hit a puddle of mud. The she-cat stood there for a moment with a disgusted look on her face, as much as she wanted to freak out and lick her paw she didn't want to alert any predators or other intruders of their whereabouts. She let out a small growl as she walked on feeling the mud on her paw pads. "This is sooo gross," she thought in disgust.

l a t e - m o r n i n g b a s i l s p r i n g s k y c l a n "Like a little mud will hurt.." the small tabby thought. "We're almost to the lake. You can rinse it there and then we can head back to camp, I guess." Basilspring suggested. She scanned the border with ShadowClan, noting how dry the trees looks. "I wonder when we'll get rain. ShadowClan seems to really need it. We have a few streams in our territory, so I guess our trees are getting water." the SkyClan she-cat meowed, mostly to herself.

Snowthistle | Late-Morning | SkyClan
Snowthistle was eager to get to the lake to wash this nasty disgusting mud off her white feathery paw. She walked awkwardly tying to shake off the substance as much as she could grumbling when it wasn't doing any good. Her ears perked up when she heard about ShadowClan's tree's. She once again padded awkwardly to Basilspring and noticed how dry everything looked. "Oh dear," she said her ears dropped at the sight, "they'll need rain for sure." She no longer cared about the mud on her paw sure it bothered her but seeing ShadowClan's dry area made her problem severely tiny. Her gaze went to Basilspring's her icy blue eyes weren't full of pride, but worry. While she was worried she didn't let her composure fall, she mostly waited for Basilspring she had no words left at all.

l a t e - m o r n i n g b a s i l s p r i n g s k y c l a n "Very soon. With the days running hot, I hope we at least get a shower or two. SkyClan may need one, too, at this rate." the she-cat mewed, all annoyance towards her fluffy white companion gone. Shaking her head, she looked at the larger cat. "Let's move on, we won't do any good here." she padded on to the direction of the camp, ignoring the little movements Snowthistle did to get rid of the mud. Her annoyance revved up once more. "Maybe if you wouldn't stop every five seconds, we'd get there faster!" her inner self yowled.

Snowthistle | Late-Morning | SkyClan
Snowthistle eventually stopped shaking her left front paw and just dealt with the mud, while it annoyed her and she kept grumbling about how weird it felt, she decided to ignore it for the most part. She couldn't stop thinking about ShadowClan's lack of rain. She shook her head, she couldn't think about it now they head to get back and she wasted enough time trying to get the disgusting mud of her paw. "Fine!" she thought bitterly, "You can stay there for now, but I will get rid of you." She moved up next to Basilspring. The annoyance of the mud grew but she tried not to show it, she looked around her surroundings taking every inch of detail, she never really got to do this on the patrol look at every detail. Although she shook herself out of it, she couldn't afford to get distracted.

l a t e - m o r n i n g b a s i l s p r i n g s k y c l a n When they reached the lake, Basilspring sighed in relief. "Now she won't be a nuisance." Basilspring thought. She turned to her Clanmate and had a gleam in her eye. "Here's the lake, need to balance on me?" she asked Snowthistle. The she-cat padded into the lapping waves of the lake, not minding the water. "This is refreshing." she purred, closing her green eyes. "I guess this is what RiverClan experiences everyday." she mumbled low enough in hopes Snowthistle wouldn't hear.

Snowthistle | Late-morning | SkyClan
Snowthistle only gave a slight amused gleam in her eyes at her partner. "Oh ha ha very funny,"she said but it was all in good fun. She finally dipped her paw in the water and gave a purr of satisfaction, her fluffy white paw was no longer covered in mud, although it was wet but she could deal with that. She licked her paw to get some of the water despite licking from her paw the water was crisp and clean. It made her coo with happiness but her paw was no longer soaking wet and she looked at her partner not really hearing what she she had said. "Did you say something Basilspring?" she asked in confusion wondering if it was her low mumble she had heard.
