EDIT 2: The account got banned.
EDIT 3: Well seems my main account is banned too because I can't sign into it, I'm given the error message "the email you entered does not match any emails in our database". I went to go search for the accounts and it said no results (searched for the main and got nothing, then searched for the second and got nothing, then searched for a friend's just to make sure it wasn't a glitch or anything and hers came up), so my guess is they ban by IP address, or just the IP address itself, which would mean they saw my accounts were linked and banned both. Haven't gotten the message about my main being banned yet so I don't know if it was or not but given the fact I can't sign in (or even try to retrieve my login info- the email isn't in their database) and that the account doesn't seem to exist when I try searching for it, it would seem I am out of the battle. But you guys keep pressing forward  . RIP Starlight97 (May 30th, 2010-Aug 10th, 2016) and ~Deathwish~ (March 11th, 2011-Aug 10th, 2016).

R.I.SC, brave warriors! I`m going to Switzerland tomorrow morning (it`s 21:07) and I need to sleep. So best of luck with the war effort, and although I`ll be sad to miss your genius I feel kind of grateful I don`t have to watch the collapse. So if anyone needs me then, I`ll be quietly crying with no internet in Switzerland. See you!  P.S. This is not ruining my holiday dammit |

Alright, we have multiple computers/tablets, and I can always use my old phone, my brother's phone, my mother's phone, probably not my dad's phone though, and then the iPad, my dad's computer (if he's in a good mood), and the my old computer- NONE OF WHICH IVE EVER LOGGED IN ON.

That's unfortunate. But, we lived and followed by the first rule of the Code; Fight for your clan even at the cost of your life! And in this case, we fought for our fellow forumers even at the cost of our accounts.
And if you wanna get really Code technical, the mods of the WCF are disobeying rule 13 of the Code; A Warrior doesn't need to kill his opponent to win his battles unless his opponent is outside the Code or it is for self defense.

I'm not sure! I'm quite the opposite; I got an email on my main account, saying that "Your account has been disabled", but I can sill visit my account page, see my followers/following, basically everything you could do if you were a member, but not me.
They didn't delete my account, they just made it that I couldn't log in.
As for the account I gave Clover, called Flaming Crescendo in fancy text, it was plain deleted, with no email or anything similar to speak of on the email I used to use for the account. I haven't logged on it in a long time except for yesterday, to check if my password was still working, and if it was the one I thought it was, and I successfully logged in yesterday. I'm not sure if they're simply deleted accounts that seem like they haven't posted anything or come on in a long time in fear of multiple accounts? Anyway, either way, I'm thankful I can still easily access my den, so I can salvage my last bit of information (characters). Luckily, I still got all the html codes I needed, so that getting banned wasn't a big problem.
*shrudders*
I wonder what would've happened if I didn't do that before I got banned, but then again, I already saved the Wonderclan source code, granted that was from a long time ago.

Anyway, a conclusion is that I am, in fact, not IP banned, and since Cloudflame has gone, I'll still have one last account (Sunheart) to work with.

That doesn't sound very logical though. That's what happened with Cres, although arguably Cres is nowhere as active as your main, probably. I think your theory MAY be right in that case, and they were just deleting accounts slowly at random.
However there's a loophole to that theory- if they're taking the forums down, they don't need to delete stuff one by one.
Maybe they saw that you'd logged in a lot with your main on the same computer/device that you logged in with Deathwish on?

Well it might not be by IP, cuz my main account, Starlight97, doesn't seem to exist anymore and when I tried signing into it I got a message saying the email used doesn't match any in their database and I tried logging in on it on my phone too, nothing. The account has just mysteriously disappeared. Yet I tried logging into Deathwish and I got as far as passed the login page but then at the top it said the account was disabled. I'm actually not wonderin' if they're deleting accounts before the forums actually close just to save them the trouble of chaos? Same! That's what I got for Moons secondary account, and for my main it siad it was disabled! StarClan go with you, Moon! (also pls like my posts for me to respond in the next few hours, I'm at uni on my phone and mob version doesn't do regular notifications) |
