Volefur walked out of the medicine den amd headed over to where Ebonystar and seberal other warriors were argueing. She felt it may be best if she interupted them, though it seemed rude, she didn't want a fight to break out. "Ebonystar, if its not too much trouble could I have a word with you," she meowed interupting her clanmates.

(Can you catch me up on the fight?)
Tatteredpaw The she-cat whimpered and stared at the scene that was going on. She noticed Mosspaw and Gorsepaw several fox-lengths away and decided to talk to them. Walking towards them, she almost got trampled by a raging Shadowheart. Spitting in anger and hurt, she raced towards the fellow apprentices. "Crazy right? I can't believe this is happening! Briarclan is being torn apart!"

RP: "In a moment Volefur," She said patiently, stepping forward to face the other cats. "No cat will act against another in the clan, anyone withdrew grievances you can wait at my den if it so pleases you to continue this behavior. Though before you do; Eaglefeather and Frostfern I assign you as Tricklestone's watchers no harm is become of him and he is not to deal harm to anyone. Take him to the fox hole just outside the camp to the east you two will be anchorage of guarding and assigning guards to him though none of his... followers are to speak to him without my audience." She said glaring at her brother, moving closer with confident steps and hard eyes she glared at her brother. "I will not have you start a war within my clan. The reason you live now is because of our mother but that is all of you have lost the respect you had. Take him." She said snapping away.
Eaglefeather quickly pushed aside the group to stand beside the tom, out weighing him and around the same size Tricklestone knew he would be over powered in this state. Before his sister could speak with the scum of a med cat he growled, "Are you going to let my wounds fester?"
She turned and glared then in a mocking tone she spoke, "Oh but I wound descries your holyer then though image by having a non clan born cat who went through the training and acceptance of our warrior ancestors treat such a... 'mighty' warrior as you." She said her eyes dark promising if he acted up one more time he would face her. He didn't have enough followers to face her and the others that would fight for her. "What a sharp tongue sister...." He said sarcastically.

Wolfpaw walked into camp with a few pieces of prey on his mouth. He swiftly dropped it and his eyes widened."What is going on here!" he yelled into the crowd, hoping to be heard.

( A thought, how would it be if some of the more aggressive of the non-clanborns began to feel Ebonystar could betray them? I don't know how long this plot will last/ or how bad it would get, but perhaps a non-clanborn cat who's ambitious could seize the opportunity and suggest they try and get one of tehir own into higher ranks by influence, perhaps non-violently at first? Could cause the trust to further deteriorate as they'd sometimes judge one group's actions to all the rest like them and such. Also I just realized Tricklestone is Mosspaw's mentor and she's non-clanborn. cx Also just a note to self, Frostfern's only been in the clan for around 7 moons, as I think he would've join at around 10 moons. Also I just realized .:*Leaf Sama*:.™ I do not see Tatteredpaw listed up front, but judging by the form I found she is non-clanborn right? ) Frostfern was surprised by being addressed, and stood up, calming his temper and trying to look an nonchalant about the whole deal as possible. Upon stepping up alongside Tricklestone, however, he had to force himself not to attack the tom. He himself was not clanborn, and still rather new, and Tricklestone's presence felt a danger to him and those like him. He, placing himself between Tricklestone and Ebonystar, gave him one cold look, and flicked his tail, signaling to Eaglefeather he was prepared to move out. "Yeah, crazy..." Gorsepaw muttered, eyes wide as he watched the guards move over to Tricklestone's side. Still, something about the rift between family members over this bothered him, but he pushed it aside. Mosspaw looked over at Tatteredpaw with wide, angry eyes, and said in a shocked tone. "Tricklestone was my mentor..." Patchpaw noticed Wolfpaw and waved a paw to him, hoping to get his attention. "Tricklestone wants to rid of non-clanborns." He said rather hastily and loudly.

Deep green eyes peered out from the medicine cat's den, their owner's ears pointed towards the large group of cats, listening to the large black she-cat. Pumpkin's tail twitched in annoyance as she recognized the cat that had startled her the other day. Though as the cat spoke, she felt her irritation ebb.
'Smart - removing the source of the problem and dealing with the stragglers one on one.' The young rogue thought, pleased at the leader's tactics. Maybe her first impression of the black she-cat was wrong.
Wait, no. She's still speaking. 'She's willing to kill her own brother over this.' She couldn't tell whether to respect or detest that. On one side, it took a lot to put one's clan before everything, even family. On the other side, no blood was shed over the feud. Both sides seemed loyal to the clan. Why outcast one by saying their leader would be killed if not for one dissenting voice?
A sigh escaped her and she turned back to look at Daisy. The light golden queen was breathing slowly, her eyes closed, and the kits were sleeping next to her. Pumpkin's whiskers twitched in amusement at the older cat - of course, it was probably the poppy seed making her drowsy, but the thought that she could be so relaxed in this situation amused the young rogue. Limping over, she settled herself in the nest next to her friend, pushing herself closer so that their pelts touched. Waiting for Volefur - and Ebonystar - to come back gave time for her mind to drift.
And it didn't take long for her to decide she needed to stay with her friend. The leader had offered for her to join the clan once - perhaps the offer still stood.

Finchchirp, sitting nearby and hearing her name, took a step forward, saying quietly... "I can check on her now, if you like? As Volefur's busy and all..." The stocky she-cat was visibly shaken, and watched with widened eyes as Timberstone was led away.
Frostfern let out a low growl, his tail lashing as he glared daggers at the cat beside him. He didn't say anything, frightened he, too, would get in trouble, but he felt his claws digging into the ground as they walked.

Rufflepaw smiled at his friend. “It’s okay, I’m frustrated too” he admitted although his voice was calm. “I just hope everything can return to normal” he sighed, a glint of worry sparked in his eyes. “We’re not meant to fight like this” the small black tom began to head towards the apprentice den, his feet dragging in exhaustion. Rufflepaw settled down in his nest and rested his chin on his paws. Why am I still here if my clanmates don’t even accept me?, he felt dread in his stomach. This is my home and these cats feel like my kin, I am going to do everything I can to watch out for them.

Hawktalon had held back a loud hiss at Ebonystar's treatment of her bother in favor of the non-clanborns, and nodded gravely to Aldersoar as he spoke. The angry tom wanted to act out against this leader, who so mistreated her own kin in favor of outsiders, but he kept quiet, calculating in his mind.
- - -
"Yeah. It's chaos..." Patchpaw responded, looking to Wolfpaw and Sandpaw with wide eyes. Yet he looked over to his father afterwards, watching as he whispered something to Aldersoar. He wanted to be with him, there, on his side. He should be loyal to his family. But I have non clanborn friends... yet... He thought, still flustered. Gorsepaw felt similar in some ways, but, overall, was not too conflicted. "...You think that's the end of that?" He muttered, watching Tricklestone and his guards begin to exit camp.
- - -
Eaglescreech watched the proceedings quietly, recalling his father's earlier hints of dislike for outsiders, and getting up slowly. "It was bound to happen sometime..." He muttered, sidling towards the freshkill pile, and giving Ashlight a cautious look before taking a bird for himself.

Eyes flashing, Hawktalon whispered to Aldersoar. "We cannot stand for Timberstone to be trapped for speaking the truth."
- - -
Eaglescreech shrugged, uncertain if the response was to his muttering, or his look at him. "Just saying..." He replied calmly, chewing on his meal thoughtfully. "Maybe your side's been too caught up in... in whatever not to notice it, but it was only a matter of time. Not saying anyone's an fault either way, just plain and simple fact."
Eagelscreech himself was uncertain on his views. He disliked a deal of rogues, loners and kittypets, but not really any of his clanmates. He didn't want to talk against Timberstoen, the others, and his father, as he had respect for them. He just hoped he can stay neutral.
- - -
Gorsepaw nodded, a gloomy expression overtaking his face. "... Your probably right." He muttered, shaking his head, and also looking towards Mosspaw. The small she-cat with still looking enraged, her fur ruffled and eyes wide, but she seemed to be steadily calming, her breaths gradually slowing. She nodded to both, and closed her eyes for a moment, sighing before reopening them. "How do we fight back, though?" She asked, looking at the others. "If we literally actually fight back it'd only add to their defense!"
"... Yeah, and Ebonystar saying what she did about Tricklestone doesn't help..." Patchpaw muttered quietly. Any family disloyalty bothered him, even more than he thought it would, and it made the clanborn's cats words seem truer than he's originally thought.

Hawktalon nodded, still a touch aggravated they had to fight against their leader. He'd had a lot of respect for her, but seeing as she gradually favored outsiders over the clan, it was dwindling. "I'm afraid your right. We'll do what it takes, however." He reasoned. "It may not be wise to act just yet... Perhaps this approach was too sudden?"
- - -
"Well, for kits, reason why, usually with legends, the dangers of disobedience." Gorsepaw said, ignoring the fact it was probably a rhetorical question and letting his mind wonder. "... And, I don't think that would work. I... I know many non-clanborn cats are loyal, but a few of the newer, or more independent and hostile ones may only make matters worse in such a situation..."
"I had no idea about that." Patchpaw said, glancing towards Adder as he guarded Ebonystar's den. "... He's not bad, I know... but... he's not a clanmate."
Mosspaw narrowed her eyes in thought. "... I wanted to try to get the rest of my family to join, but I'm not sure, anymore." She said in a whisper.

(Rain, yeah. Tattered is non-clanborn. But, she and Sparrow are neutral. Wolf is for the none. And Shadow is for the Clanborn.)
Wolfpaw He hissed and stepped up to the crowd. He spotted Tricklestone glared at him. "Ay! You think you Clanborn are better than us that aren't Ay? Well? Why would you think that? We work just as hard as clanborns! Maybe even harder!" he spat. Lashing his tail, Wolfpaw scowled at all who were supporting Tricklestone.
Shadowheart She swung her head around to stare at Wolfpaw. "Of course we are better! We are pure blooded! You are just outsiders that didn't want to be alone!" she hissed.
Tatteredpaw She frowned at the scene and pressed against her friends. "How did this happen! What happened to our clan? What does Ebonystar think of this?" she mumbled to her friends.
Sparrowshade He just sat farther away mumbling a few things here and there. He really didn't want to be apart of this.
(I know... probably a long post! Anyways... Can Wolfpaw be part of the plan to rise up against Ebonystar and what not? He is very protective of the non-clanborns, and very ambitious......)

RP: "Is it necessary Volefur I have a lot to do. I need to figure out who is for Tricklestones plight and who isn't. I can't believe this is all happening, has star clan spoken to you?" The leader asked sighing looking up to the cloudy sky seeing rain clouds beginning to form high above them.
Redmoon found her way to her nest and cried slightly, How can my son think like that? Where did he gain this opinion of non-clan born cats?
"Shut it Wolfpaw! Ebonystar finished it. And shadow heart Watch it before I tell Ebonystar how you are treating us, blood doesn't determine the amount of fight in a warrior. A kittypet or rouge can be just as fierce or as loyal as any clan cat and if you think Ebonystar is wrong for adopting us into this clan then you are as disloyal as Tricklestone!"
Brichpaw padded up to Tatteredpaw, "She thinks she's doing the right thing, before she brought in the rouge loners and kitty pets, most were on deaths paws she helps them and the clan. We didn't have as many apprentices or warriors, even my parents and Eaglefeather's parents were killed in the swamps. Sandpaw was found unconscious under a yew bush on the edge of the territory and now she's one of the best climbers in the clan."
Eaglefeather smiled at Ottersplash before he disappeared out of the camp. "I didn't take you to have crushes on cats Eaglefeather, you were such a shy cat as an apprentice, though I don't blame you. One day you were training alongside you mother and father the next well... you already-" "Shut it tricklestone before i cut your throat!" He growled, Take your own advice Eaglefeather. "Get in the hole Tricklestone." Tricklestone sneered at the warrior but faltered at the sight of the small hole, but only for a moment. Standing tall and mustering his pride he walked into the tunnel and sat in the larger burrow. "Its nice and cool down here." He called up with a sarcastic laugh.

Shadowpaw's tail twitched slightly in irritation. Rufflepaw didn't seem frustrated at all! But as he padded after his friend into the apprentices' den, he realized that the older apprentice was worried.
'About the clan?' The sleek tom thought, letting off a yawn and climbing into his nest. Turning around a few times, he lay down and curled his tail around his paws. 'Or is he worried about himself?'
Turning this over in his mind, he shifted uncomfortably, eyes flicking back over to his friend every few seconds. After a while of this, he spoke.
"Hey Rufflepaw?" His voice was weary as he felt the ache in his muscles come back. Another yawn escaped him before he continued speaking. "Do you believe in Ebonystar?"
------
Bright amber eyes glowed in the dim light of the medicine den, looking to the orange rogue that lay nearby, eyes closed. Was she sleeping?
No, that wasn't like her. She was probably listening to what was going on outside. But as much as he strained his ears, Sparrow couldn't hear a thing. He silently made a note to ask her what was going on later.
Until he felt the tightness in his belly.
He needed to pee. Badly. Bringing himself to his feet, he looked at his sleeping brother and Daisy. Surely it was safe for him to step outside for just a second without waking them. After all, Volefur made the clan sound friendly.
The young kit slowly crept from the den, moving a little faster once he was outside. The bigger cats sounded angry. It made him move faster, looking for a sandy place to relieve himself.

Noticing Redmoon vanish into the elder's den, Finchchirp followed, quietly poking her head in, and frowning, her eyes filled with sadness as she beheld the sad she-cat. She walked towards her, her paw steps soft. "... Redmoon?" She said quietly, in almost a whisper. "... Your daughter wanted me to come check on you. I ca leave if you want, but we can talk as well, if you'd like my company?"

The tip of the orange rogue's tail twitched slightly as she hear paws padding towards the den. Finally she could stop waiting for the last leaves to drop (figuratively, of course). 'Two cats' Instinctively her muscles tightened, eyes opening to look at the clan cats.
What a sight she must have been - emaciated from starvation, cobwebs clinging to her coat, curled up next to her friend with a distrustful fire in her eyes. Without looking away from Ebonystar, she brought herself to her feet.
'Something feels off...' The thought ran through her mind, though she pushed it away, focusing on the leader of the clan. If only she had taken a moment, she would have realized that Sparrow was gone.
It was probably good she had been uncharacteristically unobservant. If she noticed the young kit's absence when the clan cats walked in, she probably would have shredded them.
But as it was, she simply looked at the clan's leader, waiting for a response.
---
Kicking the sand off his feet, Sparrow padded back into the camp. Looking around, he tried to remember where his mother and brother were. He had been in such a rush to find a dirt place, he had forgotten to take note of where he was going.
He stayed calm for as long as he could. Which was about two seconds.
Then he began to run, letting out a panicked mewl. Where was his mother? What if he never found her again? Why did he think he could go out-
Before the thought finished, he stumbled, tripping over himself and rolling until he landed with a soft thump against another cat. Dazed and confused, he looked up at the tom. Amber eyes widened as they took in the large cat's scarred brown pelt. Despite his fear, he wondered how the cat had gotten those scars. Were they like the scars Sparrow had from Squirrel? But he couldn't bring himself to ask - all that came out was a small squeak.
