I think I originally had her have tan skin and described her as an amazoness lol but I guess I could change that. I found this face claim that I liked after I made her Lydia hadn't been expecting the human transformation and found it kind of odd that she had now met 3 people who had animal transformations in the span of a few hours. She wondered what the hell had happened around here to make these animal-human hybrids gather here. "I've already told you what would happen if you came back here. I'll enjoy turning you into a pincushion next time" she said Ash saw that Alpha was retreating and he frowned. Lydia should have killed him right then and there but it seemed like she was just letting him go which didn't make much sense to him. The guy was a threat to this team and especially Farlow and the kids. Ash couldn't just let him walk away from this, his instincts were telling him to get rid of him now and his body morphed back into his werewolf form before he started to charge towards Alpha. When he had gotten close enough, Ash dived at Alpha Masaki raised an eyebrow at Pip's response. She had to have another reason to do whatever she had done so he would have to keep a closer eye on her. After Alex told Pip to hold off on shrinking everything, Masaki walked over to the cyborg and tried to see what the cyborg was seeing. "Find anything interesting yet?" He asked (sorry its been taking me so long to reply lately. My life has gotten a little busier lately which makes it harder to find time. I'm not leaving the rp though)

(Ah, no worries. Life comes first. :3 I think it's actually better for me this way. It lets me calm down and think things through more.) (Why does Lydia scare me when she looks at me like that? XD Thanks! In what style does she usually form her armour?)
Alpha never answered Lydia. He had already said too much. They would know the truth soon enough. Crunch, crunch, crunch... The rubble crunched under Alpha's feet as he walked. He let go of his useless arm and clenched his fist. Crunch, crunch, tap, tap... The rubble gave way to pavement. And it was at that moment, a wicked grin crossed his face. The wolf was coming. He could hear the rapid footsteps behind him. His good arm bulked back into gorilla form and he spun around last moment, swinging out the giant arm to smash the wolf down into the ground. If he was successful, he'd try to close his oversized fist around Ash's head with a crushing grip and lift him into the air. Thick red gorilla fur crawled up form Alpha's arm to his shoulder and neck, snaking even further along his body as if to complete the transformation. "I may be down, but I'm not out, wolf boy!" Alpha growled, before chuckling. "Now this is someone who knows what it means to truly come out on top in this world! It's just too bad that he underestimated his opponent."
(Ash can still dodge if you want. Alpha would spout out his proud words either way. If he's successful in catching Ash without getting his hand bitten off, he will likely try another, stronger type of control due to the physical contact.) ~ Lowen ventured to the window, hopping up onto the ledge and peering out to the scene below. Finla remained perched on the back of the couch. --- Farlow had seen that Ringo and the girl were missing. When he went out to investigate their scent trail, he quickly found that they had left in different directions. After some hesitation, he decided to go after the girl. In ferret form, he raced down the streets and the sidewalks. The undead attack hadn't reached this far, but he still kept an eye out, just in case. A gust of wind nearly blew him off his paws. Farlow came to a stop and flattened himself to the cement of the sidewalk. The wind was sharp and cold, but Farlow pressed on, slow and steady through the storm. Ollie had spoke of this child as if she was a friend who was just being controlled. He felt the need to make sure she was alright, and also to ensure that she do no further damage. A mere child with such an ability... It made him shiver to think of what it might be like if one of his own children had displayed an ability such as hers. As amazing as it would be, he would never wish such responsibility on his children, especially at such a young age. A cold drop fell on his nose, causing Farlow to shiver. Though sparse, sleet had begun to fall. --- (And Sour-! I'd be willing to attempt drawing our little trio if you give me a description of Alex. :3 No pressure. Just throwing the option out there. ^^)
"Yeah, yeah, I got it," Pip mumbled, rolling her eyes a little. Geez... Have a little trust. She looked around for a little longer, peering at row upon row of server racks and everything they held. Upon closer inspection, the blinking blue lights were actually kind of pretty. She glanced back at Alex and Masaki. They seemed to be bent over something at the centre of the room. Whatever it was, it must be pretty important. Curiosity got the best of her. Dropping the attitude, she tiptoed to them and peered around Alex's arm, specifically the opposite side of Masaki.
(Trust Pip? Nah man. That would take a lot.)

(Ooo, that'd be cool! I'll try to get an accurate description of him when I'm more awake lol)
Alex began his search by looking for other facilities belonging to the organization. The search query brought up three locations that had not been wiped from the servers; A research center, a manufacturing plant, and a facility marked only as "[CLASSIFIED]". After typing a few commands into the console, the locations on the above screen moved down to the touchscreen, which Alex then flicked with his finger over to the hand he was using to interface. A circle on the touchscreen flashed around his hand to indicate the successful data transfer. "Three more locations to search," he told Masaki. "But I'm going to try and find more before the security decides I've overstayed my welcome..." Returning to the main screen, he began typing more search keywords into the terminal.

yeah Lydia does look kind of intimidating there lol makes sense with her character though. I haven't really gone too in depth with her armor designs but they would have to be simple if she wanted to make them quickly. She could make them more intricate if she wanted but it would take longer to form) (but geez it may not be a good idea to try and grab someone that can easily make toy swords out of wood with his claws lol. But Ash failed his roll lol)
Ash wasn't exactly himself at the moment. It seemed like his wolf side was dominating his human side and it showed. "Protect pack. Danger to pack" came out of his mouth as Alpha caught Ash midair and slammed him to the ground. A piece of iron pierced Ash's side though he didn't react to it since his attention was solely focused on the gorilla before him. "Kill danger" he snarled as Alpha started to strengthen his grip around Ash's head. As Alpha picked up Ash, the piece of iron that had pierced him was taken out and the wound was already starting to heal at a rapid rate. Suddenly, Ash started flailing at Alpha's arm, trying to claw it, rip it to shreds, or do as much damage as he could right now. That was the only thing that ran through his mind currently.
Lydia watched the two fight. If things got too out of hand, she would step in but until then she would stay out of it. She looked intrigued as she noticed the blood coming from Ash's back when Alpha picked him up but noticed that it was already starting to dry up as if it was old. It seemed like the werewolf had some regenerative abilities which made sense since he took a hit from her blue hardlight and is still standing.
Masaki nodded "Well whenever you're done we can go and search those. I don't exactly think it's a good idea to split up especially when the two of us don't know the layout of this place as well as you" he said. "But if you do happen to overstay your welcome, we aren't gonna get attacked for it right? I'd rather not use my flames in here until we clear it out"

(Yep. ^^ As for clothing, for some reason, I'm picturing motorcycle chick style. At least in part. XD I ended up doodling a couple of practice drawings. I'll try a digital drawing soon. I suppose for a simple armour design, it could mostly like an outer coating. Light can bend, so there'd be no need for the usual gaps in normal armour. I might play around with it so she doesn't just look like some glowing monster.) (Yowch! XD)
It was a good thing he picked him up facing away from him, but some of the flailing managed to strike. His thick hide was no match for those claws of his. Alpha roared and tightened his hand even further upon Ash's head. His original intention had not been to kill him, but in his pain, he went past the point that would likely kill a normal human being. He had not expected such a vicious onslaught by the wolf, and the amount of actions he could do were limited with Lydia still standing there. Normally his best plan would be to throw Ash away, but in terms of running speed and healing, this wolf surpassed him. And to be honest, Alpha was quite intrigued by this specimen. It would be perfect for his future plans and he could see only one way he might get away from here with his life. Alpha's eyes widened for a moment, as he passed his mental attack down his arm and directly into Ash's brain. "Be still," he whispered, as a first test to see if it had worked.
(Let's say this type of control is more like brainwashing. It can be overcome by extreme willpower that counters the command, or if the blue crystal is placed upon him.) --- (Sweet! I look forwards too it! ^^)
Pip watched Alex transfer data. By the time it reached Alex, she was staring at Alex as if he was some sort of alien. "Computer..." she breathed.
(Why am I suddenly thinking of someone fighting Masaki with a fire extinguisher? XD) --- Rosie was walking down the sidewalk in her torquoise jacket, hugging herself as the sleet rained down. She shivered with each step, her green eyes lost in some distant gaze of pain and despair.
"Where are you going?" a voice asked from behind her.
Rosie turned. A tall cloaked man stood there. She couldn't see his face, for it was hidden beneath his hood. Who was this man? "Far away, where I can't hurt anyone else..." she murmured, her voice quiet and wobbly. She moved to turn away, but the cloaked man put a hand on her shoulder.
"A little girl like you shouldn't have to live alone."
The hand was soft with sharp nails adorning each finger. Rosie's eyes widened and she looked up at the shadowed face of the man. "It's better that way. For all of them."
The man looked down at her pain filled eyes and felt nothing but the compassion of a father. "But that's not what you really want, is it? To live alone. No one was hurt back there. That hero team is more capable than you might think. Perhaps they can help you learn to control your power. That way, you wouldn't have to fear hurting others ever again." The man pulled back his hood, revealing his ferretish face. Then he bent down and took her hand. "Let's go back."
"So you're one of them..?" Tears welled up in Rosie's eyes and the sleet gave way to rain. "Ringo told me everything. That everything that I saw was fake. It was all a lie! But it seemed so real! Everyone was dying! I couldn't do anything!" Sobbing, she pressed her face against Farlow's chest.
Farlow rubbed her back and held her close. The rain continued to fall around the two soaked figures in the rain.

(Yunno, I could just tell you now. Automaton's real name is Rowan Oak. Not a reference to robotics or anything, but still a pun.) "Thanks.", he grunted, sounding a bit joyful at finally feeling welcome. He actually kinda liked Xero, despite getting annoyed with him quickly. He put enough money on the counter to pay for both of theirs, as well as a 25% tip. He waited for the food to get prepared, not wanting to have to give a name or have to go back up when the food was ready, and took the food and sat down at an open table. A large rectangular slot in his helmet opened in front of his mouth, showing an obviously human mouth. He took a bite of it. He asked Xero, "So, what do you think?". (Rowan Oak, hm? :3 Sounds cool, but I don't get the pun quite yet. Perhaps I'll have to get to know him a little first. I'm actually quite slow with a lot of jokes. XD) Xero followed Automaton to the table and plopped himself across from him. He crossed his legs on the seat and peered down at his food, licking his lips. He glanced up at Automaton just in time to see his lower mask open up. Xero's mouth opened a little as he watched him take a bite. "Ahah! With a name such as Automaton, you really had me guessing, but you really are a human! Was all that data-document talk earlier to trick me into thinking you were some sort of robot?" He grabbed the muffin and took an overly large bite, as he eagerly awaited a response.(If your too busy thatβs fine. Iββm just posting this in case you missed it. ^^)

(The name is just a reference to the Roanoke Colony XD. Also, sorry this is late! I was going camping that very day.)
"Yes, I am a human. I'm just wearing a suit of armor, and have some cyborg parts underneath. Also, that was serious. I was documenting data on you." He took another bite of his muffin. "The muffins are good, right?", he said. His voice dropped to a low whisper as he said, "Also, please don't use Automaton in public or anything. I am wanted for murder, though I prefer to call it trial-less execution. Just call me... Rowan." He usually didn't give away his first name, but at least it wasn't his full name, and Xero seemed rather... Ignorant.

(Ah. :3 It's all good. No worries.) (Yesssss...! Sassy and Ignorant Xero. I'm enjoying this too much. I actually came up with an entire plot for this guy. It will likely involve some other characters as time goes on.)
"Heaphanly..." Xero agreed with his mouth still full of muffin. He swallowed and went to reach for his decaf coffee. "Rowan, huh? You know, murder is a strong word! Aren't you just clearing the game? Protecting the innocent and all that? I don't get what the big deal is," he mused in a normal speaking voice. He pulled his coffee towards him. "And what are you taking my data for? Are you collecting it for someone or something?" Xero brought the cup to his lips and tipped it back as far as it would go without spilling. One second passed and Xero's already wide eyes widened further. He slammed the cup down onto the table and decaf coffee spewed from his mouth.
(In what direction..? I'll leave that up to assumption. XD)

"I agree! I am just protecting innocents! Though I don't agree with the game part... But that's beside the point. I'm removing the scum of the earth: Thieves, robbers, muggers... They're the reason I'm like this! Long story." he said, excited that someone finally saw his point and agreed with him. "I'm collecting the data for someone. Part of the long story. I had to collect data on you because you were a threat. You stood up to me and evidently have superpowers. People like that we need to keep tabs on." A bit annoyed, he wiped the coffee away with a napkin, rushing to remove it from his exposed skin, as it was being burned. He was only able to not cry out because he was used to pain, despite wearing armor. "Did you spit it out because it's hot, tastes good to you, tastes bad to you, or because you can't handle yourself?", he said dryly, the burn still paining him, area around his mouth red.

"What in tarnation is this horrid drink? Poison?!" Xero gagged and coughed a couple times, sticking out his burnt tongue as if that would help. His eyes were watering. "Water-! Need water!" he squeaked. However, he could not find water on the table, and instead, snatched his remaining muffin and stuffed the whole thing in his mouth. His cheeks were puffed out and his hand was covering the front of his mouth, but he seemed to have calmed down. It took him a couple minutes to chew and swallow the muffin, but once he did, he let out a long sigh of relief and patted his mouth with a napkin. "That was a close one," he breathed. His tongue was no longer burnt. Then, as if nothing had happened, he leaned forwards on the table and crossed his fingers. "See... that's what has been bothering me. Who's this... we? Are you part of some sort of secret organization or something?" Xero gasped and grinned a little as an idea came to mind. "Are you a spy?"

"Well, since the other locations are completely separate buildings, and it'll take me some time to compile where they are with the corrupted map data, we'll have a bit of spare time on our hands after we get out of here." Ignoring Pip's strange behavior, he began to search a list of known Cyber Agents. As he scrolled through the list, he discovered that the real names of the agents had been redacted, only being listed by their ID number. Another disturbing detail was that the portraits of all of the agents so far had a red border and cross through them, their statuses reading "DECOMMISSIONED". He continued to scroll through more "decommissioned" and corrupted files, until he stopped at two files that caught his eye. The first was his own.
"ID: Epsilon-43 True Name: Alex EΜ·ΜΝΜ’RΜ΅ΝΝΝΜ ΜΜ’RΜ·ΜΜΜΜΝΜ¬Μ OΜ΅ΝΜΝΜ‘ΜΉΜ‘RΜΈΜΜΝ ΝΜ« Status: UNKNOWN"
He downloaded the file to his memory so he could examine it further later. He turned his attention to the second file, which was two "decommissioned" files over. The file was heavily corrupted, and the portrait was replaced with a red hexagon with a disfigured skull in the center. The information on the file was filled with errors, and only two details came through:
"ID: Omicron-95 Status: ROGUE"

Ash kept trying to claw at the hand that was currently holding him. He needed to get out of this grasp so he could attack his enemy better and having his back turned against his enemy wasn't exactly a smart idea. Even in his bloodlust, Ash could feel that something strange was going on until he heard Alpha tell him to stop. It was like his whole body froze for a brief second but he kept trying to fight his own body. He had to protect his friends better than his last ones, the ones he watched slowly die before him in agonizing ways. Though his movement's were much slower than usual, Ash tried to grab Alpha's arm so he could dig his nails into it.
(ash needs to chill lol he's like the man literally too angry to die meme right now)
(lmao I guess a fire extinguisher would be the best way to deal with Masaki)
Masaki kept watching what Alex was doing. When he noticed that Alex was part of the decommissioned list, he raised an eyebrow "These people must have been stupid if they still let you have access to this. But who is this," he took a moment to reread the other name, "Omicron-95? Do you know him?" He asked

The claws successfully sunk into his arm, and Alpha growled sharply though his teeth, his metal attack broken. It seemed all of these so called heroes had strong wills. "And here I thought you might be a good ally. Apparently not." In a fresh fit of pain and rage, Alpha smacked Ash into the ground a couple times in attempt to loosen his grip on his arm. "Though I must commend you for your determination." Then pulling his arm back, he tossed Ash at Lydia. (If he continues to latch on, pay no attention of the next part.) If Alpha's throw was successful, he'd bend down and grab a piece of rebar that had caught his eye earlier. Then he made a run for it.(Woohoo! Go Ash!) --- (:3 I actually found the idea so amusing a drew a short little comic about it. I'll show you at the bottom of this post. XD) Pip didn't really know what was going on, but it looked like these pictures might be of Alex's old pals. Looked like most of them were dead. At least that was what it usually meant when someone's picture was crossed out like that. She gave Alex a somewhat sympathetic look. That was when Omicron-95's profile caught her eye. It was unlike the others. "Woah, dat guy is poisonous! Sketchy..." It might not be the same symbol, but it was what it reminded her of.
--- Here's the comic: Some of Pip's faces though... XD I don't know what I was doing. Here's some practice drawing of Lydia: And here were a couple of drawings I did awhile ago: I didn't know what Lydia looked like at the time, and Alpha is shrunk down because I wanted to fit him on the page. XD

omg the art is great and I love it. Feel like you've gotten better also)
An audible snarl came from Ash as Alpha spoke to him though he couldn't fully understand what was being said right now. He kept tightening his grip until Alpha started slamming his head into the rubble. After having his head hit the ground a few times, Ash's felt his head swim as his grip loosened considerably before he was thrown towards Lydia. He tried to hold on but when he quickly realized he wouldn't be able to, he tried to scrape his claws on Alpha's arms before he sailed through the air towards Aegis. Suddenly his movement stopped as he felt something wrapping around him. Still in his berserker-like state, he tried ripping apart some green tendrils that were curling around his body to which he was somewhat successful since they started to grow back as soon as they were ripped apart.
Lydia sighed at the state Ash was in before turning her attention to Alpha "How do you think you can defeat us when you just lost two one-on-one fights in a row? Looking at the state you're in now after fighting us should tell you that you're not ready. Now go while I let Fido here cool off a bit" she said

(Yay! Thanks! ^^ Hoorah for improvement!)
Alpha was panting, blood dripping from his shredded arm. He held a piece of rebar he had picked up from the ground shortly after he had thrown Ash. There she went again, throwing around that detestable mercy. Alpha bared his fangs in a growl. Defeat cut far more than death. But he made no move to fight. Instead, he turned ran, disappearing among the shadows of the dark day. It was only in his shame that he could live to fight another day. The adrenaline was beginning wear off. Pain and exhaustion were pulling at his limbs, and yet he carried on through the backstreets of the city. To be continued....
(I could've got him to use his teeth, but I was to chicken to go ahead with it.) --- The door of the base slipped open and a little ferret-boy peeked out, his golden amber eyes blinking out at the tall woman and Ash. His eyes widened when he saw the tall woman restraining Ash in some sort of strange glowing vines. Lowen stepped out of the building and quietly closed the door behind him. His little body quivered, despite the dead set glare in his eyes. He stepped lightly, trying to sneak up behind the tall woman.
(I'm not sure where the practice swords are... But if the kid's found access to them, he'd likely have taken one.) --- (Posts with Ringo, Farlow and Rosie coming soon. :3) (Whisper and Shadow's characters are on pause for now. Until she gets back. ^^)

Lydia watched Alpha retreat, she hoped she wouldn't actually have to see that gorilla again but she knew that was wishful thinking. They had severely damaged his pride and he would want revenge though it wasn't like she wouldn't be prepared the next time he came at them. She looked over at Ash who was still struggling in the vines and let out a deep sigh of annoyance "Hey Fido, calm down over there. The threat's already been taken care of" she said. She wasn't paying attention to what was behind her right now so she didn't notice Lowen slowly making his way towards her

Fido? The threat has already been taken care of? Lowen wasn't sure if this lady was a friend or an enemy, but seeing Ash struggling as he was, he could only assume the worst. He was directly behind her now, quivering in fear. This lady was so tall and so surreal with all of her strange glowing abilities. He let out a slow long breath to calm his nerves. Bunching up his legs, he sprung up in a flurry of activity. Claws out in his bipedal form, he attempted to climb up to her head where he'd attack in attempt to distract her. "Let go of big bro Ash, right now!" he hissed.

"I...don't believe I do, no..." Alex responded to Masaki's question. He was about to attempt to look into the file further when the screen suddenly became filled with red static with a loud screeching sound. Alex ripped his hand off the console and cried out in pain, holding his head in his hands. It was like he got hit in the head with a virtual hammer, and the red static filling his vision didn't help either. As the pain faded and his vision returned, an alarm began to ring throughout the room and the screen now said "WARNING" in bright red flashing letters.
"WARNING: SECURITY BREACH IN PRIMARY SERVER ROOM. SECURITY SYSTEMS ACTIVE. ALL SECURITY PERSONNEL REPORT TO PRIMARY SERVER ROOM."
Alex shook his head as he regained his composure and looked around in alarm. He cursed under his breath before turning to Masaki and Pip. "Alright, change of plans. I'll scout out the hallway and see what we might be dealing with, you two grab what you can. Once I chart a path out of here we're going to book it to the exit. Okay?"

"EEP!" Pip jumped back as soon as the screech sounded. She covered her ears and looked around wildly, her heart racing. That was no good. Once the alarms went it was always a race against time. When Alex turned to them, she actually seemed to listen and take his words seriously. She gave him a firm nod. "You got it, boss!" She pulled out and enlarged another bag, which she tossed in Masaki's direction. Hopping over to the nearest stand, she started yanking the computer servers free from their racks and shrinking them down to fit in her bag. She had to make sure the cords were disconnected before shrinking them. --- A short perspective written by Willy Raymond, called Life in a Pocket...
I used to think that true peace- true freedom lied in doing nothing. Doing something had always been a drag, something to ruin my moment of peace. Even so, I was never satisfied with my fleeting life of ease. One disaster happened upon another to disrupt my peace, and then I was left with nothing. I finally got my wish. A true life of nothing, forever stuck in some crazy child's pocket. Stale air, food fed to me like I'm some sort of toy, and nothing to do but lie in wait. With all the time on my hands, I've done some thinking. If I ever get out of here alive, I am going to become a working man. I'll get a job. I'll make a life for myself, so I can afford new comforts that might be more fulfilling than a life of nothing. I might never find myself to truly care for something, but perhaps with a little more effort my life can have a little more meaning rather than to live my entire life in a pocket.

Luckily, Lydia still had her light armor on her otherwise she would have gotten some serious scratches from the little ferret. She quickly got over her surprise and went to grab Lowen "Calm down you damn brat. I'm trying to help him here not hurt him" she said "He's not exactly himself if you haven't noticed"
Ash could still smell Alpha's scent and the trail of blood wasn't helping matters. His mind was screaming at him to chase after his prey but these vines just kept holding him back. He kept trying to rip them apart until a massive amount of them tied his arms to his sides but that still didn't stop Ash from trying to escape as he started to thrash his head back and forth
Masaki's eyes widened at Alex's sudden outburst. Whatever just happened seemed like it hurt the cyborg somehow. He let out a groan at the sirens blaring "Just great and here I was hoping that we could just go in and out without any hassle" he said. As Masaki listened to Alex's plan, he gave a nod "Alright just stay safe" he said as he caught the bag before also heading over to one of the racks and started unplugging the servers "Whenever you're done over there shrink mine too" he said to Pip

Lowen squirmed and flailed in her grip, spitting and hissing, as Lydia pulled him from her armoured face. Then he sagged in her grip when she started to berate him. He glanced over at Ash, struggling against the vines. "So you're not doing this to him?" he panted, glancing between Lydia and Ash. Was this human trustworthy? "Then what could be wrong..?" he murmured, more to himself than to Lydia. Big bro Ash was acting like an enraged animal. The motion made sense to a degree, but shouldn't he have calmed down by now? "Ash!" he called out, squirming in Lydia's grip again, this time in a less harmful manner. --- "No prob, Masi. I'll be right there." It was a pain having to disconnect the cords, but it was the best way to shrink with the least amount of damage. Pip emptied her current server stand and she hopped over to shrink his. "Got a new idea Masi. How'about you'ah keep unpluggin'em an' I'll do the shrinkin' and packin'." When they had entered the building, Pip had appeared to be somewhere between 10-15 years old. Now, she looked more like she was 7.

As Pip and Masaki got to work, Alex ran to the door and slowly pushed it open, peeking up and down the hallway. Just as he feared, some automated turrets had lowered from the ceiling and were turning from left to right, searching for a target. Leaning back into the room he began to run through simulations of which path through the map he downloaded would be safer and quicker. After finally deciding on a relatively quick path to the exit, he looked down at his hand, remembering the upgrades he had gotten. Perhaps now would be a good time to test them out. He began to concentrate and activate his "kinetic tether". His right hand shifted downward into position, his wrist locking into the back of his palm, leaving it facing upward. His fingers extended and rotated around the edge of his hand, creating a sort of claw. The panels in his palm shifted open revealing a bright blue light.
