Cheshire nodded, watching him, for once, in silence, before snorting, “So, where are we going then?” She questioned, crossing her arms. Stubborn, that’s what she was, but it didn’t seem she would budge. She took not of his hand for a momen, watching as it switched paths, though she was confused. She ad no idea what that was about, or really anything for that matter. Though she snickered, “Well, todays been a long day, but I don’t really need to rest, remember, I’m kind of dead.” She commented, though earlier, she had seemed very tired.

(Lioncl: Let me know if you want me to change anything. ^^ We can redo a little if you want.) --- Ollie sighed softly and smiled lightly. "I have to pick up some things for Farlow." He glanced down at his cloak before looking forwards once more. "I'll just be visiting a couple stores and some old sights..." He stopped walking, hesitating before asking his next question. "Do you know where I can get clothes for a little girl?" He held his hand about three feet from the ground. "I've been told she is about this size."

Cheshire stared at him with a deadpan expression, eyes narrowed, “I don’t know anything about this world. In my world, stores were usually streetside, because people were scared of the Council.” She commented, before cracking a smile, “But I’ll help you find them if you tell em who the girl is, and in return I’ll probably (maybe not) answer whatever question you want to ask, but you get one, so-“ she then hummed, tapping an object on her wrist and bringing up a hologram, she then pressed onto the wristwatch some more, bringing up a few stores, though some were closed, and a wicked grin came to her face “It’ll be too easy, let’s go!” She commented, ready to head off.

dont worry about it. Keep it the way it is)
Lydia looked around, somehow just noticing where they were for the first time. It seemed like she had gotten so caught up with talking that she hadn't realized that they had entered the base already. As soon as she realized this, the armor disappeared from the two as she looked at Olga "I'll show you to your room first before I go and find Ollie for you. That way you can get a headstart on unpacking if you want" she said.

(Maybe: Were you still wanting to have some characters join the team at some point?) --- Ollie's eyes widened a little as he listened to Cheshire, peering at her hologram. He smiled a little when she finished and started walking again. Now how was he going to explain this? He glanced down at his coat. He wished Farlow would come out right about now. He looked back up. "Ah... She's a kid of one of my friends." - Olga displayed relief when the armour vanished. "I'd appreciate that. Thank you." --- (Sorry for the shortness. Rushing! ^^)

Lydia started to walk towards one of the rooms that she knew was empty, or at least thought was empty. She hadn't really spent any time here so she wasn't an expert on the layout yet which made her wonder why the group would leave Olga to her since she had just joined today. She got to the empty room and looked in just to make sure it was actually empty before she let Olga walk in. "Here you go. Let us know if you need anything at all" she said with a smile.

Cheshire snorted, “You actually have them?” She was talking about friends, like a douche. She hummed slightly, “So the place we’re going in is closed. We’ll get the whatever you needed, and then some other cool stuff because we can. And maybe she off an alarm for fun and mess the place up. Sound like a plan?” She questioned, seeming to almost tune him out in...whatever she had going on with her horrible planning and mischevious tendencies.

(Ahh. I couldn't resist doing a second daily post.) --- (Heheh. Now it's Inuyasha soundtrack. I'm letting it wander.) (Lofi Hip Hop Radio, huh? Might have to check it out. :3) (Lol! I suppose, I could just call it teleportation, but where's the fun in that? Might get a little gusty if he keeps it up. XD If Overload ever got him, it would likely activate this stage which would be problematic for everyone.) --- As soon as Isaac started to turn, one of the weighted ends of Pedro was arching right for Isaac's face. And he wasn't holding back. Not anymore. Behind the swing, Blink's dark glare was intense. Furious. Wild. Somehow, it seemed to be something both wild and focused. - "Oh! Fascinating..." Zed leaned forwards, reading the article and saving the pictures. He tapped the screen above Maxwell's head. "It's a start..." he murmured with a little smirk. When Katie called, he frowned. "Hey now, it's Zed. Not brain whatever. Zed. Z. E. D. Ze- wait? Hornet?" Zed rolled his chair over to the other screen within moments. "Oh boy... That's not good." He stood, and his chair rolled away. BEEP! Perfect timing. He grabbed the purified serum and rushed out of the room, pulling another item from his pocket. "Urgh. Warriors and their need to fight. And always at the worst of times! Now I have to go do the dangerous work..." He pressed the collar of his shirt and the speakers cut in. "Code Hornet. Things are looking strange. I suggest you come." He let go and the speakers cut out. He continued to mutter until he arrived at the room Hornet was in. He stepped forwards, quick, yet warily to check out what the glowing was and how her vitals were. He had to make sure she was stable for the serum. He held the serum in one hand and the mysterious object in the other.- Blink didn't react to the sound of the speakers. Instead, he seemed bent on attacking Isaac with violent, unrelenting blows. (Love the music uwu) (He's so cool I swear. Love his ability.) Isaac ducked just in time to avoid the full force, but still felt a glancing blow that tapped his forehead, enough to blur his vision slightly. The next three strikes hit full-bore, and Isaac was sure something had snapped in his chest. Likely a rib. Whatever was going on with Blink, he wasn't feeling right, and was taking it out on Isaac. If he wanted to live, he'd have to knock his rival out now. There was enough energy pent up for his burst, but he needed Blink off him. With the tiny bit extra he had topped off, Isaac ducked a blow and slammed his fist into the ground. The kinetic blast that resulted was enough to shake the room, and blow most things away a few meters. Now Isaac stepped backwards into a boxer's stance once more, and slammed his fists together. A fiery aura enveloped him, and that pain was blurred. Finally. - The symbol upon her head was glowing once more, despite still being cut from the time Blink had saved her from Night's control. He mouth moved, and she spoke in Latin once more. Katie had walked in as well, and recognized the language immediately. "Is she alright? She's talking in Latin in her sleep." She says. Master of the obvious, as usual. She listened, filing away what was said. Eternal Night comes. For whom does it beckon? A fiery soul, brazen in ash, will be called the gate. A soul with void in their heart, and wondrous light will be extinguished, as key and toll. What calls it?

”Where will we go?” She questioned Maxwell, eyes wide and big, as she hid a bit, before Pershing her head up, “I mean, I know of an abandoned building nearby, maybe we can hide out there? I just hope no ones trashed it yet.” She commented, forcing erself to be brave and moving, “I can check, if you want,” she offered then, sitting on the ground, and placing her hand timidly on the ragged carpeting, it may have been confusing, but it was an offer to use her extra sensory powers. Maxwell shakes his head. "No matter what, we're not trusting anyone else with our protection. I'll protect you, Lennox." Like a dragon to his hoard, he lifts her into his arms and looks to the door. There was no one else worthy to be trusted, and if they had to take someone's home for their own, he would. But this ghost business wasn't worth their time. "Point me to the next home."

(Sour:I've been a bit stressed too. ^^ I am going to be so glad once all my work is finally done!!! But hey- Don't worry. Everything will be fine. We just got to do what we can do and that's all there is to it. ^^) ---- Olga took stock of the room. "Thank you. I will." ---- Yeah... He had been talking about "friends" a lot to Cheshire. Ollie didn't blame her for throwing some sarcasm in. Her next comment took him off guard. "Wait- what? No! We can't just break into a store. I have the money to pay." --- (XD Thanks.)
Blink was thrown back by the shockwave. He backflipped, landing crouched. When the fiery aura enveloped Isaac, Blink snarled and squinted, a hiss escaping his throat. He blinked, vanishing once again. Next moment he was dropping from above, Pedro smashing down towards Isaac. --- The mark was glowing again. That couldn't be good. Zed frowned as he listened to the Latin words. "You know Latin?" he questioned absentmindedly. "She's done this before. I believe it has to do with her connection to Night." Brushed up on Latin as he was from the last time, he could pick out most of the words. Eternal Night was coming? It couldn't possibly mean- Night was-? He didn't know what exactly was going on, but he could already tell. It wouldn't be good. Everything else was shrouded in much mystery. Zed shook his head to himself and pressed a button on the bed. Restraints closed over Hornet, and Zed dropped the mystery item in his pocket. He lifted the serum, and began preparing it. Whatever was going on, he knew Hornet needed this serum.

Lydia took her leave as she walked back into the hallway. She started going around trying to find Ollie but couldn't find him anywhere which she thought was odd. Was there some secret portion of the building that she didn't know about or did he just leave the building for some reason? She figured it would be the latter so she went to the living room and sprawled out on one of the couches as she waited for Ollie to get back though she did wonder what he could be doing at this time of night. She looked around to see if anyone else was nearby

”Why not?” Cheshire grinned, smiling in that cryptic way still, “Why pay the money when you can get it for free? It’s not like anyone will genuinely miss anything. If they put their lives work into it. Why would they sell it?” She seemed set on that path, “Plus, it’s fun, you should trust me, if I thought it was a big deal, I would have said something. But it’s up to you.”
Lennox shivered slightly, “It’s this way, let’s just go.” She commented, lowering her head and starting to lead him back out into the city.

Ollie shook his head. "People work hard to sell their product so they can make a living. They need the money to afford the things they need to keep them and their families healthy and safe. If everyone stole because it was "fun", there would be no protection for the weak. I'm all for doing fun things, but stealing is not one of them. Not if it causes people pain." His voice was mostly gentle with some warning. He sighed then. "Are there any stores that are open?"

”Cute opinion,” Cheshire commented, rolling her eyes, “But they have a living. That’s why they sell things get their accosted price limit, it’s to steal from you. If you’re so concerned about it, why not leave the money in the store for them, then you paid for it, whoop-de-do.” She waved her hand in a dismissing manner, before snorting, “Why would a clothing store be open at this hour of the night?” She commented, “I’m sure there’s one somewhere, but I don’t think a man in a cloak and a child with a red eye would exactly look inviting,” she warned, glossing over the fact that she-in fact-could handle to cover her eye.

Lydia finally realized that she could figure out where he was since she had his number. She pulled out her phone and opened up the messenger app on it before going to Ollie's name. Where are you? I swear you are never around when I need you. Olga needs to talk yo you ASAP she texted before hitting the send button. She let her phone rest on her chest as she waited for Ollie's reply

"It's a trade. They get what they need and I get what I need." Ollie sighed again, rubbing his face with a hand. "Come now, people still wear coats like this, right?" Ollie looked down, holding up the sides of his coat. "Sure, it might be kind of old... and tattered... Okay, I get what you mean. I might need to find some new clothes for myself one of these days..." He took in a deep breath. "Fine. We'll go in, get what we need, pay for it and we'll be done. But let's avoid messing the place up." He nearly jumped out of his skin when his phone vibrated. He pulled it out and peered at the message on the screen. He let out a soft groan a put a hand to his head. "What was I thinking! I should have made sure they were all settled and that everything was alright before heading out!" he muttered quietly to himself. He hunched over as he walked, poking back a response.
So sorry! I am running an errand. Did something else happen? Are you sure it can't wait until morning?|
He didn't press send yet. He was debating whether this was really the right thing to say. He didn't want her to think that he was a slacker. If something else happened, he'd have to put this "errand" on hold. He hoped it would be something that could be left to the morning, but was such a hope selfish? It's not like they could get much more done tonight. He didn't even know if he had the energy to do much else than these last few late night stops.
In other words, he was overthinking it.

Cheshire fought off a smirk at his words, though the phone rang. When he was busy reading Lydia’s text, she looked off to the side, rolling her eyes, which seemed to dimly glow in the darkness. She then sighed out, teleporting behind him, floating up, and reading the text. She then snorted, “What, is she such a child that she can’t do it herself?” She commented with a grumble, before landing, “I can handle the old woman in your stead. If she really needs you, I can teleport and get you,” plus, it gives me a chance to talk to her, find out more about her. She seemed contemplative for a moment, finally puffing out air, forcing a smile, “You have a right to fulfill whatever deeds you must. I’m sure whatever Olga needs, I can accommodate too, and if not? Like I said, I’ll come get you,”

Relief flooded onto Ollie's face. "Thank you so much. It's not that I don't want to help... It's just- I promised someone I'd do this today." He met Cheshire's mismatched gaze. "Be gentle with her, from what I've heard, she's been through a lot. And Lydia too, try not to be too hard on her. She's had a tough day." He glanced down at the text.
So sorry! I am running an errand. Did something else happen? Cheshire's coming to check on things. She'll come and get me if I'm needed. |
It sounded so detached, but Ollie didn't care at this point. This wasn't English class. He pressed send and looked back up at the place Cheshire had last been standing- or rather- floating.
(Aw. :3 The other part is gone now. Another time perhaps... ^^) ---
Olga had finally finished arranging her room. She sat on the bed and looked over her work, her sunglasses in one hand. Pleased, she stood and ambled from the room. She peered down the short hall. She thought she might as well explore and see what sort of place and what sort of people she was dealing with. And so, she began to wander.

When Lydia's phone buzzed, she picked it up off her chest and unlocked her phone to read the text. After reading it, she let out an audible groan at news that Cheshire was coming. She mentally prepared herself for the massive headache that was coming her way. Lydia didn't even think that Cheshire knew how to be gentle and after everything that Olga had been through today, they needed to go easy on her so that meant that she now had to try and control Cheshire, if that was even possible. She immediately started texting Ollie back trying to dissuade him from sending her You don't have to send her. She wants to tell you about what happened earlier and the information she has on the weather manipulator. If you can get the location of where they are keeping her we can save her she texted. She gave thanks to the autocorrect function on her phone because of how fast she was typing, she had made a ton of spelling mistakes.

Her eye’s narrowed when she spotted another text, quickly swooping in to grab the phone. If she got it, well, looking as if she was attempting to frown, as the phone flickered to a pitch black screen. “Oh, I think your battery died or something,” she commented, sighing, “I think she was saying that something sarcastic about me, but I don’t think it’s anything to worry about.” She placed his phone back, if she had it, before smiling, “Now, go fulfill that errand, don’t worry, I got Olga.”
And if not...
Well, we’ll wait if not.

(Ooh. Sneaky. XD)
"Hey!" Ollie protested when she snatched his phone away. He tried to snatch it back, but she was too quick. He crossed his arms, and took the phone back when she handed it to him. He pressed the button. "Huh... I thought for sure I had at least half battery left." Strange... "Well, if you say so." He slid the phone back into his pocket. He'd have to plug it in tonight. "Make sure to come and get me if they need me, okay?" He said, walking backwards and giving her a little wave. He'd have to make this quick. Man, I'm going to have to owe a lot of favours by the time all of this is finished. The thought both frightened him and excited him.
(PS- Once I've finished all my work, I may or may not go on a drawing binge with some new art stuff I got for my birthday! ^^ I plan to attempt drawing Cheshire (if that's all right with you, Shadow ^^), since she has so much description. At some point, I'd like to attempt drawing the team. XD Again, might not be for a while, but a possible future project I look forwards too.)

Lydia could see that the message had been seen but after a few minutes without him responding irritated her immensely. I can clearly see you've read the text so why not respond? She thought to herself. She dreaded the moment that Cheshire would appear and she guessed it would be behind her or somewhere in her vicinity just to piss her off. She let out another groan as she waited for Cheshire

Cheshire rolled her eyes, before pushing him slightly, “Yes sir, got it, now go!” She commented, before waving off and teleporting away.
Now, Lydia’s hunch would be slightly correct, in the Never Realm, Cheshire planned where to go, and how to do it, time had frozen momentarily in her world, and her steps caused ripples in the dreamy atmosphere, sometimes, she teleported on whim, but sometimes, she would be gone for moment, precious seconds, as she planned out an area of resurgence. She decided upon the corner close to Lydia, though changed her mind last moment, there was no fun in such a lazy entry. Therefore, she willed her tattered limp wings that imitated that of a tattered scarf, wings that only seemed to appear in such a place as the Never Realm, and flew up, once she was there, she decided to kick her feet up, laying on her stomach, and swaying her legs mindlessly, like a kid laying on their stomach would, her voice reached before she did, chuckling, “Hello, Lydia.” Came the comment, before she appeared, just floating right under the ceiling, her feet making soft taps against it, “I heard you needed some assistance?” She questioned.
