Duskpaw was in no position to move out of the way of Shadowpaw's claws. So he went intangible, turning a minuscule bit see-through and his edges becoming fuzzy. He stood up as her paws passed through him with a slight tingle, and walked straight through her, turning tangible again once he was behind her.
Darkthroat didn't answer Embershadow right away. Her question felt a little inane. Of course they were watching the border. What else did one do on a border patrol? The tom just made a disgruntled snort and kept walking. After they'd moved a ways from camp though, and were approaching the mountainside border, Darkthroat clarified in a low voice, "Watch for Clans." He hoped the fact he bothered to voice the need to watch out for Legendary Clan cats at all, put the right amount of emphasis in his patrol's minds. With the prisoners escaping to the Legendary Clans, the usually silent mountain border might not be so quiet.
Honeytalon relaxed slightly after Darkthroat's patrol left. The traitors would be dealt with another time then. And the clan would continue as usual. Honeytalon glanced over her shoulder and narrowed her eyes at her sister who was exiting the Fighter den.
Waspfrost stretched as she came from the den and glanced around the camp. She'd taken a light cat nap to make up for sleep lost when it was discovered the prisoners had escaped. She growled as she recalled jerking awake at a disgustingly early hour to the clan in uproar. She'd managed to give a clawful to one of her traitorous clanmates for wrecking a perfectly good night. If someone was going to back stab her, they could have the decency to do it while she was awake. Really, Waspfrost was more frustrated and confused as to why those Sentinels would let the prisoners go than actually feeling betrayed. The loss of trust was real though. A traitorous hunter made sense, since they tended to get the short stick in the Clan, but Sentinels?

Silverstorm; Giving a quiet purr of amusement, she pawed gently through the storage, counting quietly. Looking up as he spoke, she looked over to double check. Quickly giving a nod of agreement, she stared at the supply of berries. "Alright. While we're at it, let's look for some yarrow. We're not too low, but with some cats around here..." The competitive ones that stick their noses in places they shouldn't be. "I feel like it'd be good to have a full stock."
Rowanflame; Ready to go out, he sat at the entrance of the camp, he looked out into their territory. He knew it well, but he still felt like he needed to be out in it more. He enjoyed patrols, but silently hoped they might cross some other cat. He always wanted to use his strength for something, and hurting cats of his own clan was way out of the question. Hunting was fine, but prey wasn't as intelligent as cats, and he liked a fair fight for a more satisfying feeling. Following Darkthroat out quickly, he nodded at his orders and stood taller, making sure to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.
(( Oh thank you!! ))

Rainstorm nodded in agreement. "I think I saw some white and yellow yarrow blossoms near that giant oak tree at the edge of the territory. And as for the deathberries..." The gray tom stopped, furrowing his brow as he thought, "Oh! There are clumps of them near that stream near there. Wait, let me get something." He hustled out of the well-spaced log they called their den and got a finch for himself and a mouse for Silverstorm. "I thought we should eat before heading out."
Embershadow scolded herself. Of course they were watching the borders. She silently followed Darkshadow and Rowanflame. Her fur prickled excitedly when he mentioned the Legendary Clans and her claws slid into the soft ground involuntarily. After the prison break, the other clans would probably be more watchful. The ginger was aching for battle and there hadn't been one in ages.

Darksilver took a mouse and began to eat it, ripping into the flesh in anger.
Baneclaw appeared in the training hollow, watching the apprentices.
Adderfire noticed him and nodded toward him.
Shadowpaw hissed as she went right through Duskpaw, rolling from the force of her attack and landing right on her face.
Pepperpaw was getting beat up by Vemonfang.

Frostpaw was carefully cleaning between her claws as she sat in the corner of camp. She was watching others in camp with interest.
Darkmind stretched, tail flicking as she moved. Claws out, she dug them into the dirt, feeling it between her fur and pawpads.

Duskpaw grinned and darted after Shadowpaw. He pinned her down, one paw on her head, one on her back, and the other two on the ground gave him leverage. He pressed down, grinding her muzzle into the dirt.
Darkthroat reached the border and began marking its edge, his ears swiveled for any sign of cats outside his patrol. He continued on to the next section and flicked his tail for Rowanflame to take this marker. He turned his sharp gaze to the steep mountain that rose up along the border, searching for movement. He thought it might be a little soon for The Legendary Clans to send out a response, but you couldn't be too careful.

Forestsilver quickly finished eating in anger. She then saw Frostpaw and began to walk over.
Shadowpaw tried to free herself but failed. She growled as her muzzle lay in the dirt.
"Well done, Duskpaw," purred Baneclaw as he stepped over. "That is what a true warrior acts like... Now... Everyone, follow me... We will see if there are any rouges to be found here..."
The mentors began to round out their apprentices together. Pepperpaw tried to stay as far away from Vemonfang as possible.

Duskpaw hopped off Shadowpaw with an excessive kick and glowed under Baneclaw's praise. He'd be complimented by an executioner! He looked to Adderfire as they all were gathered, hoping for some approval from his mentor as well.

(No, I believe that your cats were just starting in camp, Mint.)
Adderfire nodded at Duskpaw then waved the apprentice to him. His tail flicked as he waited for the others.

(Ah. Whoops. Hum...)
Frostpaw stood slowly, stretching, as she began to move around almost aimlessly. Darkmind noticed her, but the she-cat ignored the apprentice and just returned her gaze to the dirt.
