A lot of cats are putting bets on who'll be deputy
a bit of drama at the border/outside the Clan with some loners

Red & Tikaani Redfeather settled down in her nest. The second mouse rested in reach of her paws, but she tucked it under the brambles to leave it there for a bit. It was still cool enough this morning that it would still be fresh for later. The tug to move still tugged but she had gotten better at ignoring it, contented with a full stomach. It was like the ache that had been her hind paws before she had lost feeling in them altogether: annoying, but tolerable. What she wouldn't give to have that pain back. At least then she could still move on her own. If she were younger perhaps she would learn to move with only her front paws, but she knew she had little chance at that now. Her limbs were already weak enough with age that it would be impossible to build up the muscle needed in her front legs to support her. King & Monte She was downwind and he was in no presence of mind to notice anything outside his line of pacing in his anger. That said, it wasn't until she was only a few fox-lengths away that King noticed another cat's presence as he turned to retrace his pacing path. He froze. "Hello? Anyone there?" A she-cat. He felt a growl building in his throat. He may have lost, but even defeated and injured they should have sent more cats if they wanted to push him farther from the hunting grounds. He was more than capable of defeating one little cat, and tiny she was. He didn't recognize her, but that meant nothing. There were many cats and he could not be expected to know every one of them by sight. He didn't doubt she was sent to defeat him again. His tail lashed side to side, low, dangerous. "I am King. I will find new hunting grounds. Zen has won, King has lost." He paused, putting it in words made him seem weak. He narrowed his eyes. "Tell Zen King has been exiled. I will not bother his territory. Leave me alone or I will defeat you." |

[ marching band camp is finally over, so i should be a tiny bit more active now!

[I don't know quite what to do now because Tikaani really doesn't spark intriguing conversation in a sense, but either way I just found out that I can bookmark threads. So that's good.
Also, 2 votes for dark ginger. That's winning so far. Might keep the options open for a little more, then bring in Mr. "wear heelies to escape your feelies" if it turns out he's still winning.]

Welcome! The medicine cat apprentice spot is closed, but the full position is still open. However, if you talk with egi, they may be willing to switch Cloverspot to the full position so he could take an apprentice. But that's up to you two to discuss ^^
Also three brother-sister pairs. Interesting xD ]

alright everybody, i'll be putting the allegiances up today so if you want updated descriptions, please go back and edit your original posts (i'd say just re-post them, but i'm going back through all the pages to make sure i have everyone)
also, i'll be making a little list under relationships for possible deputy candidates, whom will be chosen by page ten.
ross: puddlepaw is now the medicine cat apprentice- normally i don't take two high-rank roles, but originally i was planning on leaving the leader position open lol. that said, something may happen soon that forces cloverspot into an early retirement. c;

that's totally your choice- this started as a jump in and i'm not going to force anyone to write descriptions if they don't want to. i've added your characters to the front already, but if you'd like to add descriptions i'm happy to edit them.
