I'm 25 now.
- Warriors, wolves (not much changed there, heh)
- Harry Potter (original books; the milking of the cash cow and Rowling herself are making me lose my taste for the newer stuff unfortunately)
- High fantasy (medieval-type worlds with magic and preferably dragons are the best)
- Video games,
especially The Elder Scrolls series, which is my main obsession and basically all my free time revolves around it and going on sites about it and helping run most parts of one of the biggest fansites for it
- Ireland (got to go there last year and it was amazing, hoping maybe to return next year)
- what I refer to as "epic instrumental" music (e.g. Two Steps from Hell), Celtic/Irish folk music, and I guess "alternative rock" might be the best way to describe the other kind I've been listening to lately? (e.g. Ok Go) (I'm not good with genres)
- Candles (my favorites are Yankee Candle's "cranberry chutney" and "honey clementine" scents)
Alcohol sounds so gross, dude. I'm not looking forward to being expected to drink it At All, so like, I def don't envy you for that.
in my experience so far it isn't gr8 :/ even the drinks everybody SWEARS by i haven't liked.
and it's like. where i live casual drinking regularly is a huge part of basically everybody i interact with's life.
and i don't really like it because i don't really. fit in with half the conversations.
i mean thankfully my gf doesn't drink and has absolutely no interest in doing so. so there's that.
It's a personal taste thing, like anything else. I like the taste, personally; it adds new flavors - I'd never have anything plain, 'cause
that tastes gross, but I like mixed drinks, depending on what's in it. But yeah, also speaking as someone from a heavily drinking area and out of college for a couple years, the novelty wears off for most people after a while so people will eventually stop pestering you.
