I'm sure there will be cx Definitely! So, pretty much like PtS Will, then Late night boredom can give you some surprisingly good ideas, then And yeah, new character names are so hard to come up with! How do you keep all these Wills straight? Ahh I'm glad! And pretty good. We visited my grandparents the day after boxing day, which is always nice because I get to see my whole family on that side. Other than that I've mostly been at home trying to catch up for sleep and revise for exams. In that respect, yes. XD Though the mistakes are vastly different. True. They do, they do. I come up with most of my plot twists late at night. Well, all the Wills have vastly different plots. And they also come from fairly different times and locations. One Wills story is almost all underground, another by the sea, one in a mansion, and another travels. And their personalities - or at least their morals - are fairly different then each others. I've always wondered. What do you do on Boxing Day? When I was younger I used to think it was a day for boxers. Catching up on sleep! Ha! I need to do that. @.@ xD I come up with more ideas late at night, or in lessons when I can't concentrate (and can't write the idea down, either.) Fair enough cx ]I don't really know x'D Something about giving Christmas boxes according to the internet, but nowadays afaik it's just another name for the day after Christmas. Do you not have it in the US? I recommend it! It does cause problems with other activities, though, such as writing and talking to people on the internet

I have it when I'm in bed but am too tired to move my hand and get a pencil. cx It's very humorous.
Nope! We don't have it. We have Christmas eve and Christmas day and that's it. So I've been curious about what it was nowadays. Pfft. That's what's the problem. I have so much I want to write and do. XD

Infuriating when you don't. *snorts* I can get behind that holiday. XD I'm still eating leftovers, though at least they're leftover sweets. I have tooooooo many sweets. Pfft. I'd love to cut out college.

Infuriating's the right word for it >.< On the other hand, it can be quite interesting to wake up to a completely illegible note on my phone...
Definitely xD And same, so so many sweets. I always get given some as presents, and then the house is full of the things already. Still getting through the Christmas cake too.
Same D: If only you could have qualifications in sleep

I know that feeling. Usually, I try to be awake enough to actually write down decent notes. XD I still have so much. Ick. Someone take all the pie away from me. @.@ How have you been lately?

Yup. I take forever to get to sleep, and it shows in the things I come up with when I'm almost there.
Oh dear xD How much pie do you get for Christmas?
Busy >.< Mock exams have been treating me badly. But other than that, I set up a word count goal for the month and I'm just about sticking to it, which means the next Butterflies chapter is half done and I'm over a chapter into the story I'm planning for the Potluck. And I bought Witches Abroad with my Christmas book vouchers, so I've been enjoying that cx

We got several. Three large homemade ones, and a bunch of fist-sized store bought ones. Finally finished all of them a week ago - or I finished anyway. Woooh! I'm so glad to hear that! I hope it continues to go well! Yeeeeeees! Witches Abroad! I just got Monstrous Regiment and ordered Thud! I've been slacking off on Butterfly Effect. I have the prologue done, but I realized I should probably work on a better outline for where I want it to go. So the remainder of the month is going to that and February updates are going to be there, but I'll be a bit slower. Oh, and I got a job!

That is a lot of pie xD At least they keep I guess... Thanks, it's going pretty well still *Discworld high five* Buying one or more Discworld books after Christmas is becoming a very nice tradition for me. Ouch yes, outlining is painful but necessary. Good luck! That's awesome! What job? Sending best wishes for you to get better

They did! ^^
Pfft. I love that tradition! I got Discworld boardgames last Christmas, actually. o3o
Well, I finished the outline. Guess it's off to writing now. XD Tutoring! In English, actually. So I'm pleased because 'English Tutor' is gonna look good as my first job, since I'm an English major.
Thank you! <3 Slowly but surely.

That's such a cool present! How were they to play?
Awesome! And once you've done that, it'll be on to editing... That is really good job, I'm so happy for you! Seems like it'd mesh pretty well with being a librarian, too. Have you started yet? Wish I could get a job, but it's hard for me rn to commit to specific times. Should be easier in the summer though.
<3 Illness, leave Mint alone!

So many steps. I should be writing it this month. ^^ I start Wednesday! Little nervous, but I'll get there! Good luck! <3
I'm better now! Which I'm glad about. Also, caught up with this fic again!

Ah no xD That's the trouble with board games, I guess. My family only manages to get them out around Christmas. Indeed... So that's the second novel of your challenge? Good luck, then! I'm sure you'll be great <3 I'm glad Being ill's a pain. And awesome! Do you have any thoughts?

I'm sure you'll be great <3 I'm glad Being ill's a pain. And awesome! Do you have any thoughts? We're planning on playing more soon. So hopefully that gets done! Well, I tried to finish two 'novels' in one month. But that didn't work. So how it's panning out so far was Dec. was finishing Poisoning the Sea, January was The Sound Between (which I just posted in OTW and it broke the character limit. First time that's ever happened to me), and Butterfly Effect ended up being this month. Just how it turned out, so hopefully I can finish it this month? Trying to balance everything is going to be interesting. Yes! I think talking to Sol is a very, very bad idea. But I think you've set up something worse, so they're going to have to. I'm honestly unable to predict where any of your stories go. You're very good at keeping things hidden.

I'm really struggling...) That sounds like a massive amount of work, so congrats! How's the Butterfly effect going so far? Good luck keeping things balanced - what is it with life and taking time away from all the fun things you want to do?? Also, there's a character limit? o.o How much is it? Or a place you could take him?) So far? No progress at all. I'm hoping for the weekend. I'm going to have to find a new way of writing things. Perhaps actually doing it in paper form first. There is things you have to balance. Gotta feel like that person in the circus who tries to keep all the plates spinning. And it's 24.6k I think. Noooo! No evil face!

(Something non physical is a good idea. If I'm really stuck it's probably food xD )
Aww! Fingers crossed for the weekend then. Paper form could definitely work - do you have any fancy pens or paper you can bust out? Working in a notes app has helped me sometimes too. Haha yes, while trying to avoid clowns and acrobats at the same time... Explains why I've never met it before. But good to know!
*evil face intensifies*

(Make a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig cake and then hide movie tickets in it.)
Pfft. I don't have any fancy pens or paper. But I do have a ton of notebooks. I think I'll start doing that, since it's something I can do while waiting for class. Just need to not do it now, since it's raining. Exactly! Avoid the plot holes too. I met it while trying to copy old fics and sending them via PM.
Tell me all your plots, Sapphire. You much. It is required.

(Ppfft that is actually a pretty good idea. With the slight risk of someone eating the tickets...)
Go notebooks! Do you also have a hoard of like twenty nice notebooks stashed away somewhere? Precisely! Although yes, doing that in the rain isn't the best idea. Don't you get to wait for class inside in bad weather? o.o Plot holes, which in this metaphor are literal black holes in the floor which will get you from A to B deceptively quickly, while slowly deconstructing your story. That would do it, I guess.
I can't! I haven't finalised any of them yet!

(Put them in a tupperware container or, like, a box within the cake. So maybe you have the center of the cake have an opening, like at the top, then you cover it in frosting or something. So when he cuts into it, he ends up going o.O knife wont go down further??? Why???
I don't know. XD I'm just randomly babbling.)
I do indeed have a hoard of nice notebooks! And my other notebooks have partly finished stories throughout, since I hate having a half finished notebook and not use the other half. Well, one of my classes is positioned in a courtyard, and it's open, so it's cold. So I have to walk across campus to the library, which is my classic hanging out spot. Then when it gets closer to the time I walk back. Since I need to make sure I get there in time, I go about ten minutes early to account fr unforeseen things happening. So it's a 50/50 chance I'm waiting under an overhang while it rains a foot away from me. So in that case, I'd probably use my phone to read. It's just how this month is going. Exactly! And runaway plot-bunnies are very easily lost between the constructed tents.
Well! Finish them! Then tell me!

(That would be brilliant xDD He actually ended up finally writing a birthday list with five days to go, so I got him a CD that was on the list. But that is an idea I might try for further birthdays.)
I'm the opposite - I keep starting new notebooks and wanting to keep them all about one project or topic, so the hoard's full of half finished notebooks. I should probably take a leaf out of your book.
That sounds like a bit of a pain. I guess at least you have an overhang? More like uprooting the constructed tent of how I though the plot was going to go. It's chaos here at Writer Circus.
I'm doing my best! Written almost 800 words of Butterflies today - my google doc's now on 101 pages o.o

XD ) I end up tearing out pages - because I use school notebooks with perforated pages - and then putting them into different ones. And since they're all in the same pile of notebooks, I don't loose them. Yes we do! But if the wind blows wrong it gets under it. So you either have to hope the classroom is open or that the professor comes early. Both usually aren't that likely. Here here! Someone watch for the run away elephant of procrastination! Ooooo! That's impressive! Keep going! You've almost made it to how long The Sound Between got! XD

(Me too xD It's so difficult to think of things on the spot. Maybe if I started after my last birthday, I'd get it done on time.)
Sounds like a good system! So you end up with all of a project in the same place, even if it didn't start there. I just looked through my own hoard and found chapter one of a story I started when I was twelve. Seemed kind of interesting, actually.
Oh dear. Hopefully you don't get too many rainy days before it gets warmer >.< It's got into the motivation stocks, and now it's eaten almost all of them! Someone, restrain it with a deadline!
Thank you! 102 now... And wow, that is an achievement o.o How long was TSB?

And now I'm older again and already want to rewrite it because I know I can do some concepts better. I wrote A New Life, which was Mortality's old title, in 2012. Today it wasn't raining, but it was still freezing. You getting snow over there or nah? The deadline wasn't followed through and now we have rogue fans running around looking for the new chapter clowns. Nice! Keep going! TSB was 135, I think?
