@bluefame123 - [ I'm willing to have maybe Slatewhisper fill in. It could do his childish personality well to parent kits and develop a crush; maybe it could help him become more mature. I'm assuming it's Dewfeather and her kits? haha. If you want cx And I wouldn't mind roleplaying one of her kits, maybe Sootkit (is it a boy or a girl / would you put their description or would i ? ) ]
When noticing the commotion, Ryeheart leapt to his paws, eyes widening. "Can anyone go find a stick?" he called to no one in particular, tearing off after his apprentice towards the Nursery. "Sorry, sorry, I was a bit pre-occupied eating, I didn't think your kits would come this soon, Juniperheart." The orange tom had a teasing tone in his voice in order to lessen the tension that accompanied the birthing of kits. Was this Stormpaw's first birthing? He was pretty sure. "Now, how many times has your stomach clenched? If at all?" Ryeheart asked, crouching down beside Juniperheart and pressing his left ear against her stomach, nose twitching. "Hm, Stormpaw, did you happen to grab any borage leaves while you were in there?" He cast a glance at the grey dappled apprentice, and immediately frowned at the sight of parsley instead. "It's borage, not parsley. Parsley stops the milk flow, Stormpaw, you know this."
[~Ghost Writer~] - Slatewhisper tilted his head, amused. "I could go out on that patrol, if you want." he mumbled, flicking his tail as he began to scheme a way to pull a prank on whomever might be in the scouting party for the loner. His claws flexed at the idea of humoring his Clanmates by saying something like 'I see the loner!' and describing him the way one would describe a fox. Oh yes, that would be hilarious. Then his ears perked up. "What's all the rush with them over there?" He said inquisitively at Cloverstar, watching the medicine cat bolt for the nursery. [ okay, seeing as neither of them seem to be on right now i'll make starter posts for Gorse and Crow in a bit. ;3 ]

Hawkthorn paused for a moment, thinking. "We'll take Wavepaw but let's try to find his mentor when we're out there." She decided, flicking her tail. "Go tell him to hurry here!" She purred.
"Hmm." Amberfeather closed his eyes, trying to remember what toms the she-cat had been around lately. He couldn't come up with an answer to he quickly cleaned his face to give himself more time to think. "They probably got into an argument of some sort and broke up before they were really together." Amberfeather meowed to Cloverstar, hoping this was the truth. What if the father is a rogue? Ech. He quickly pushed those thoughts away and focused on his leader's response.

Also I totally forgot that parsley stopped milk XD oops sorry Stormpaw XD ))
Stormpaw look at her paws in shame. "I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking, I was going so fast!" She exclaimed. She picked up the Parsley and ran back to medicine den. On the way there she began to think. She was never this scatterbrained! She got in the den and put the parsley back. "Borage leaves...Borage leaves..." She muttered as she searched. She purred when she found them. Quickly, Stormpaw grabbed them and ran out of the den, she growled as she stepped on a sharp stick on the way out. She hissed and limped back to the Nursery. She really wanted to stay and help so she tried to cover her pain. "Here are the Borage leaves." She panted as she dropped them beside her mentor.

Juniperheart looked up at Ryeheart, relief flooded her body. "Twice." She croaked. She's never felt so scared in her life. Was this what being a mother felt like? It was painful and terrifying.
Cloverstar nodded at Slatewhisper. "If you'd like to join a patrol looking for the loner, I bet Rosewing is going to be organizing it soon. I'd hurry over there soon before she picks someone else." The she-cat paused. "And if I hear you pulled another prank, you'll be cleaning out moss for a moon." She purred. "As for all the excitement, I think Juniperheart might be having her kits." She mewed thoughtfully, making a mental note to go visit them soon.
Cloverstar turned to Amberfeather after she was done talking to Slatewhisper. "Probably. But I haven't seen my sister get close to a tom... Maybe they're just too embarrassed to step up and say something. But even so, it's a bit suspicious." She said softly. "If it was an outsider then I might have to do something I don't want to do." The warrior code had stated that if someone takes a mate outside of the clans, they must leave and never come back. Cloverstar shivered at the thought of banishing her own kin.
Mountainpaw cheered up, a big smile stretched across her face. "I'll go tell him!" She purred and ran off before her mentor could say anything. "Wavepaw!" She yowled in the apprentice den. "Wake up! Come train with me."

Wavepaw jumped out of his nest, fear rushing through him. As he whipped towards the entrance it ebbed away. "H-hey Mountainpaw!" He stuttered, embarrassment flooding through him. He tended to feel awkward around his fellow apprentice but didn't know why. Shrugging to himself he padded towards his friend. "You said we can train together?" Wavepaw purred, hoping he heard Mountainpaw correctly.

Ferretkit watched as the other two kits came out of the nursery. "Flowerkit!" He meowed. He liked the other kit, she seemed to be a lot like him.
Dewfeather watched Juniperheart and shook her head. "No, this is the worst part." She murmured comfortingly. Dewfeather was very young t be a mother but she enjoyed it and wouldn't take it back for anything. She picked the other queens head trying to comfort her.
Stormpaw listened to the Queens. She felt a pang of jealousy, she would never be ablessed to have kits. She shook her head, no that was alright, she can care for do many of them instead! She watched her mentor, waiting do instructions.

She considered him her best friend and was glad he didn't care about her size. Although she was just an apprentice, she was almost as big as one of the Warriors. "I just learned a new move last Sunhigh." She purred. "I want to see if anyone can counter it." |

Juniperheart looked at the she-cat with a thankful look. She was extremely nervous and hearing the kits make so much noise only seemed to make it worse.

Ferretkit felt a little bad for her sister. "Let her go play with my siblings so that we can do something tough like battle train." He piped up, he wanted to practice more so that he could be the best warrior.

"Stay here please." She begged, sounding like a kit. Having the queen around helped her relax a bit. The soft tone of a mother was clear in Dewfeather's voice. She purred when the she-cat licked her ear and suddenly wished that Elk had been here to see his kits. She sighed at the thought of the brown, handsome tom beside her and longed to be wrapped up in his scent.

Dewfeather purred comfortingly. "Shh it's alright. It will be over soon, then you will have nice beautiful kits you will get to watch grow up." Dewfeather felt like a mother to the older she-cat, She wasn't much oldeto that her.
Ferretkit growled. That struck a nerve because when hado no idea if his father was a kitty pet. "On second thought. I might do something else." He hissed, he batted Flowerkit's ears with unsheathed claws and turned to go find his litter mates. That mouse brain! He usually didn't care what she said but this wasn't fair.

"Flowerkit!" Skystorm hissed. "That is not how a warrior acts." He glared at the tiny she-cat with disapproval. "You better hope you don't become my apprentice. I'd make you help Stormpaw and Ryeheart gather herbs for four sunhighs." He lashed his tail. "Jasperpaw is a fine apprentice. You have no right being that cruel to her. She can't help where she comes from. There are plenty of cats who weren't born into the clan who have proven themselves many times. Like Dewfeather and Jasperpaw. Now go gather moss for Juniperheart and say sorry to Jasperpaw for being so insensitive."
