I'd say mostly humanoid creatures, probably nothing with severe weaknesses to water. Otherwise, any creatures should be fine. A larger than average ship can accommodate larger creatures if need be. Since I have captain, do you want the first mate?

That'll be interesting. I'm thinking of a few right now for crew, but I'm a little undecided on captain. You'll probably recognize a few crew members from old rps X3)

Probably shortly after the start of the storm. The ship already being soaked and starting to bounce on the waves. As we start, the ship will gradually toss worse until at some point Lucy's forced out.)
Chance is male. Nonnell and Remmie are the only females in my crew characters.)

The rain had soaked well through the wood of the ship and the waves begining to crash over the rail and pool on the decks weren't helping. Water was beginning to fill the lower levels of the ship. Fortunately the cargo wasn't really the sort of thing that could be damaged by water, but it would be a pain to bail everything out to keep the ship afloat. So far a few crew members.. well, no need to be secretive about who it was. Emerald and Ira had slipped on the slippery surface and fallen pretty hard. The entire crew was in action now, working to keep the ship on course, bailing water, and keeping the sails retracted so they wouldn't be shredded in the high winds. Even Chance had tucked his wings down under his coat to keep the wind from picking him up and throwing him. He remained on the upper deck with Nonnell, both of them working to navigate the storm.

OOC CHATTER {{ - - }}
ROLEPLAY- Lucy hadn't expected to be caught in the storm, and the barrel she was hiding in had already fallen over. Her heart was beating a mile a moment in her chest and she knew if the storm got worse that she would be exposed to the crew ... who would probably eat her, knowing mosters.
Jesse was up by the riggings, making sure everything was tied down and they wouldn't lose and of their sails. Lissa had flown up the nest early that morning and had yet to come down. She was normally the eyes as her bird form tended to make her eyesight much better. -

Chance remained at the helm, trying hard to keep the wheel from turning and throwing them off course. The slamming of the waves into the side of the ship was already pushing them into strange currents. They were already at risk to lose hours on their course from this storm. There hadn't been many like it yet this season, so there were bound to be a few more along the line. Nonnell switched between checking their navigation tools and helping Chance maintain the course.
Assigned to bailing out the lower deck, Ira and Myreem were passing buckets from the bottom of the stairs upward to Remmie and Emerald. For every bucket they tossed out, gallons more flowed in from the deck. The cold saltwater left everyone uncomfortable and upset. They kept passing buckets back and forth, emptying buckets. The water still continued to rise slowly, now reaching up to over the crew's knees. Some of the crates were starting to dislodge as the ropes gave out from the seawater. Several crates were pushed across the hull as the ship tilted hard on the next wave.

OOC CHATTER {{ - - }}
ROLEPLAY- The barrel that Lucy was in rolled as the ship tilted and popped open as it landed in the water, forcing Lucy out of it at the same time. She was glad that she could swim, and quickly kicked off the hull to surface out of the water again. She half hoped that she hadn't been seen, but she knew that those thoughts were in vain. -

(Hoi friend)
Ira was the first to spot the stranger treading the water in the hull. He froze in place, his skin twisting a bit to point the bark-like shapes outward like thorns. Emerald reached down to try to pull full bucket from the dryad's hands, but finding Ira unwilling to pass it over, he followed his gaze out and let out a low hiss, alerting the others to her presence. Being the largest of the group, he waded down to the bottom of the stairs toward the human, scaly lips curled back over his teeth.
"Who are you?" He demanded, tail smacking hard on the surface of the water.
With Ira still being frozen in place, Myreem leaned up toward Remmie and whispered below his breath. "Fetch Chance and Jesse." He ordered. Remmie responded with a small nod and fled up to the deck.

ROLEPLAY- Lucy let out a gasp as she was seen an went under the water, focus on treading water lost. She quickly kicked back up, spluttering the water out of her mouth. "P-please don't hurt me.." She said in a quiet voice.
Jesse stepped away from the riggings and turned just as Remmie stepped up onto the deck. His eyebrows furrowed and he hurried over. "What's wrong?" He asked, noticing her haste. -

(Sorry, today's my last day to work on my HW and get a grade I can graduate on)
Emerald gave a low growl, narrowing his eyes. "I asked you a question. Answer me, trespasser!" He snapped, a thing green gas escaping in faint wisps from his jaws.
Ira backed up from the two, eyes watching both the dragonborn and the human. He didn't trust the human for a second, but he'd known Emerald to be fairly dangerous in a fight. A keen eye and good judgement let him predict enemy fighting styles and counteract them quickly. A human treading water wouldn't last more than a few seconds against him. A slight bump on his back and he realized he'd backed into Myreem, who moved around the dryad and advanced to the dragonborn's side.
Remmie turned her gaze upward to the reaper, answering quickly. "A stowaway's been caught below deck. I'm going to switch posts with Chance. Can you try to keep things from getting out of hand?" She called.

ROLEPLAY- Jesse nodded swiftly, dropping down below and stepping over towards Emerald, eyeing the human with narrowed eyes.
Lucy went red in the face and she nearly went under again. She spluttered a bit. "I - I couldn't afford to be a passenger." She explained, "I don't mean any harm I'm sorry!"
Jesse shook his head. "Fish her out. She's no good to us if she drowns." -

"She's human, she's no good alive either." Myreem snarled irritably. Emerald, less keen on irritating the ship's first mate, advanced forward in the water, grabbing the woman by the arm and pulling her over to the stairs. However, he didn't release her, even once she had her footing. He wasn't about to let her try to flee up to the top deck. The ship rocked again under another heavy wave, but both creatures remained rooted in place easily. Ira, however, lost his footing and snapped out of his shock to balance himself.

ROLEPLAY- Jesse hummed in agreement, "yes, I know." He glanced at the human as she shook like a leaf in Emerald's grip, clothes pressed against her skin. Her eyes flicked to all the monsters around her before stumbling slightly when the ship rocked.
Jesse snapped his hand out to grab Ira by his collar to stop him from falling over. -

(Sorry, yesterday was a lot.)
Ira made a slight sound when he felt his collar pulled, and as soon as he was freed, he retreated up the steps to the deck, having to step around so Chance could enter. The sylph stood quietly, looking between the other creatures and then the human that he'd been warned of. He frowned, not really keen on having his crew distracted in such a dangerous storm. If he didn't have everyone at their best for the next few hours, there would be consequences.
"Bring her up here." He ordered. "I don't care to have you all preoccupied with such a trivial matter. We're in the middle of a storm, and our ship could roll at any time. This is not where we should invest our energies."
Emerald gave a small nod and pushed the woman partway up the stairs. Chance reached forward and pulled her up the last few steps, then outside. His wings unfolded slightly to block the wall of rain that hit them upon exiting. He started to lead her over to the only covered room that handn't been swamped yet - the quarters on the top deck.

OOC CHATTER {{ - - }}
ROLEPLAY- Lucy had seen a lot of creatures back on land, but very few sylphs. She knew they waisted, of course, but she had never seen one in person. The arrival of the captain was both a shock to her and a relief when she was released by Emerald. Lucy resisted the urge to rub her arm and shrink away from the captain when he took a hold of her.
She chewed on her lip as they entered the quarters and she wrapped her arms around her and shivered quietly, staring wide eyed at Chance, her trembling both from the fear and the cold seeping into her skin.
Jesse's eyes followed the captain as he left and them turned his attention back to the group. "You heard him, back to work." He waved at true water on the deck before going above himself. After a moment, Aster walked down and picked up a bucket. -

Chance released her once the doors had been closed behind him. He stayed between her and the door, bracing against the ship's rocking. "This is the most secure place on the ship. You should be alright to wait out the storm here, and once things have settled down, we'll figure out what to do about you." He said simply. "My orders are simple. Stay in here and wait until I return." He and Jesse were the only ones with keys, so no one should be able to mess with her here, and those who hadn't actually seen her yet would probably already know of her presence. This was difficult. He knew a lot of creatures on his ship were uncomfortable with humans, at best. At worst... there would be hostilities. He needed to consider this carefully.
(Do you want to skip to the end of the storm and such?)

(Sure. Here we go)
Now, with the storm having passed and no one injured save for a few bumps and bruises, Chance now stood outside the quarters where he'd locked the human away. The others had gathered here as well, many of them now aware there was a human on the ship. He could tell from looking at their faces they weren't happy about this. From some he could read aggression and fury. They didn't want a human anywhere near them. Others seemed afraid and uncomfortable. Many on the ship had been treated poorly by humans, some almost killed by them, and they well remembered these encounters.
But if they did something to hurt her or get rid of her... Even if they were at sea, someone would end up looking for her. Someone would miss her, and they'd find out somehow that she'd been here. At this point, he decided upon his solution.
He looked over the faces of his crew once more, speaking. "As many of you know already, a human was found below deck hiding in our cargo. I'm aware of your distaste and I don't blame you. Humans haven't exactly been kind to creatures like us."

ROLEPLAY - "I feel like you're suggesting that we're going to allow her to stay." Lissa said from off to the side, leaning on her hip. She opened mouth to say something more when Jesse stepped forward, silencing her.
"What are you suggesting we do then, Chance?" Jesse asked cooly, arms crossed over his chest. -
