{ I just feel like Sorren doesn't have a good personality that fits the rp. Meanwhile with Bellamy and Nova, I could challenge myself to to a wider spectrum of personalities.}

(Aha- I am sorry. I had class. And then after class I didnt have anything to do but wait around at the school but it was raining and I couldnt resist going out to play in it.)
Ava mumbled in agreement. Exploring the island seemed fun enough, and though she would normally still be weary of strangers after so little time, she felt Kylie was trust-able enough.

Yuri smiled and nodded tentively as though she understood what Sin meant by the crystal clear water, which she kind of did. She hesitated to reach out but shakily held onto Sin's hand as the Hydro offered it out. Only three and a half foot deep Yuri, you're not going to drown your not going to drown... She gripped onto the edge of the pool side as though she had a feeling she might fall in. "How deep is the other side?" The Photon asked gingerly.
(I guess it was kind of the beach but I travelled out of England to an island XP)

Star is a fun character cause she's powerful, but she's really not good or evil. She just likes to have fun))
Star jumped back, holding her arms out in front her. Impluse pulsing through her veins as she held herself back. She was skilled in physical fights, but since this girl was a Magik, she wouldnt mind abusing her magic abilities to fight. "Back off. " she shot back at the girl. "If you want a fight, you'll get one." She said, strength in her voice as she stared at lily. "Or we can both chill and talk like normal people." She added

Okay, North. I don't think you can really know a character's personality until you're actually roleplaying them, in my opinion. But it's up to you. If you want to delete him you can. I will be making a rule afterwards though that there is no deletion of characters. It just messes up classes, roommates, and is extra work for me. Try not to add a character if you're not sure about whether you really want them or not.
Lol yes it does have a theme song. This first plot arc is all about battle, fighting, learning of the Hunters. There's a lot the Gifted and Keepers must do if they are to survive. This arc is kind of short though...just an introduction after all ^.^)
Lily grinned. "Oooh, little kitty wants to play?" she offered, eyes sparkling with excitement. The pool of sticky, dark liquid beneath her feet grew with her anger. But, before the two could fight, a student came walking up to get to the door, so she took a step back. By now, it was too late. An adult was approaching.
"What are you two doing?" Sally demanded, eyes narrowed at the Magiks. "Quit abusing your powers. Don't you think you'll be tired enough of using them once classes and power practices start?" she demanded of them. Clearly, this younger girl was new. But, the Aero knew enough to know that Lily had started the whole thing. She was a...messed up, sadistic girl, after all. Very typical of a Blood Magik, and even more expected of a girl that had been held captive by Hunters. Lily was the instigator. Yet none of the instructors ever blamed her, well, they rarely did, anyhow.
---
"I think ten feet?" Sin concluded. "But don't worry, we're not going over there," he told her as he held her hand and slipped back into the water, his tight muscles and sun-kissed skin sparkling as the fog was beginning to clear, the sun still bright through the clouds. "We don't have to, if you don't want to. We can do something else," he promised her. Sure, he liked to spend a good majority of time in his water. But for this girl? He would definitely do something else, if it suited her.
---
Kylie walked with Aris and Ava- being older, she took charge and was the lead. "Maybe the first step is to ask some of the other students- ones that aren't Keepers, would be best. The...Gifted," she rolled the word over her tongue, the idea of it being strange. "But no Vampires." With a short second, she added, "please," realizing how rude it must have sounded. She didn't want to instigate any fights, or seem like an awful person, but...Eh. They walked along the grass of the main campus, past the school building that held the classrooms and towards the empty grassy lawn that stood before the main building that held the lobby, cafeteria, and dorms.
---
Strangely- as always- the fog reacted to Zo's fanning negatively. Instead of disappearing back out the window in which it came, it enveloped the Keeper, circling around her as her motions gave it momentum. Atypical of any natural phenomenon, for certain.
Bray stood, heading over to Zo, the fog, and the windows. He quickly started to close both. "Just forget it," he mentioned. "The whole thing will be gone soon. I swear, I've been here five years now and this stiff never fails to amaze me. Creepy stuff, and creepy island," he remarked as they closed, and the fog was quickly cut off, evaporating momentarily.
---
Maze coughed, now choking on her food, having stuffed too much in. After a brief few moments of that, she cleared her throat and said, "We're living at a school. Its not like we can exactly just keep our things private," the woman noted, then taking another bite. "Besides," she mentioned with a mouthful once more, "I'm just trying to help. You need to get that kid in training, like, last year. Remember when I told you that? But no, you don't listen to Mazikeen, do you?" she remarked with a chuckle. "She's an 8 year old Shadower that only has the basics of her power down. Heck, at her age, Serenity was already on the battlefield with her parents!" she exclaimed, speaking of one of the well-known Shadower students. Maze started looking around. "Hey, ya know what would go really good with this?" she referred to her waffle. "Peanut-butter! Oh, man, I've gotta get me some of that," she almost purred like a cat, considering it.
---
Callie let out a brief snort. "No, I'm trying to act like a Guardian. Heavens knows I haven't done it so far. I completely avoided you at school last year, and let the Council treat you ill. I've been a real witch," she admitted with a sigh. "And I know I'll never be able to make up for abandoning you after...well, after you learned of the Gifted. But...I don't know," she finally let out, and yet she was trying to get closer to him, she was still physically pulling away.

Yuri was about to slip into the water beside Sin but her hesitating held her back and the Photon scrambled backwards, gripping tightly to the edges of the pool. The Girl had a flustered expression smeared across her face, she might of had enough for the day. When the Hydro mentioned something about doing something else she nodded desperately and stuttered, "Y-Yes, I would prefer that," Yuri quickly glanced at the Hydro before she noticed she still had a hold of Sin's hand and pulled away quickly, her face flushed vaguely.

(YEY SOMEONE TO RP!! *Tackles* Lol I am so excited to do Yuri/Sin I love them together <3 lol.
Want to throw Namika in the Keeper mix too, trying to figure out what the newbies are doing? Lol)
Sin frowned, surprised she had decided against it. "You sure?" he hesitated. "The water is perfect today. See, even the Selks are in," he motioned over to a group of three or four swimming, their brightly colored tails splashing around. "And they usually pick the ocean over the pool," he noted. But the boy didn't press any further, recognizing the Photon clearly had an unnatural fear of the water, not exactly sure why, but...he wouldn't judge. He let go of her hand, grasping the concrete edge and heaving himself out once more, water dripping off his skin and his black and red swim trunks as he reached the dry land. "We could check out the beach?" he offered. "Sun is gonna be coming out in not too long. Sand should be warm. May get really hot, but, eh." He shrugged, not caring. "Or what else do you like to do here? You don't hang too much, I haven't really noticed you around school before. And trust me, I would have paid attention to this face," he said with a laugh. Of course, he didn't get out with Photons all that much...

Yuri offered a fake smile, "The beach? As long as we're a few metres away from the water..." She rose to her feet, slipped on her sandals and placed her largge white sun hat over her head. She frowned and looked down, knowing she was probably being a pain from being so scared of water while a Hydro is being nice to her. She looked up when Sin had asked the last question and the girl sighed. "I spend most of my time inside... let's just say I'm staying away from the intensity of the ligh-... the sun," She paused for a moment to rephrase her sentence, knowing it would be so incredibly strange to the Hydro for what she had said. The mysterious Photon didn't want anyone to know her beyond the surface, not even Sin.

Sin laughed. "But you're a Photon. You're supposed to love the sun! Eh, let's just go. We're dressed for it. It's just the sand and sun after all. Doesn't get much better than that. Unless you're a Hydro or a Selk, of course. Or a Shadower or a Cryo, actually...And maybe Dark Magiks don't like it that much either..." he corrected himself, tapping his chin in thought as he laughed. "Oh well. My statement mostly holds true. Good enough, right? Besides, we've got sometime before lunch. And this is our last day before classes, battle training, power practices and the lot of it. Which, ya know...sucks," he remarked with a smirk as he stood and led the way out of the fenced off pool-area, into the grassy lawn of the main campus, stopping briefly to grab his towel and sandals from a deck chair he had sat them on.

"I suppose," Yuri commented with a thin smile, she waited until Sin had grabbed all his things before turning towards the direction of the beach. "The main beach? Correct?" She asked, her hat sheiling her face from the bright light. As soon as they began walking, the girl frowned in response to the Hydro's opinion on the school. "Classes here at Evermore are... interesting to say the least, they give me something to do other than practice on my violin or stuff like that."

Sin nodded, motioning with his hands in that direction. "Since it's closer, larger, sandier," he said with another laugh. "So, what's your life outside of Evermore like? Your story, ya know, all that fun jazz? You stay with your family, live among Humans, have a Clan, what?" he wondered, knowing it was unlikely she lived in a Clan. Not many Elementals did anymore, and particularly not Photons. They did good living among Humans. He was interested in Yuri, for sure. Wanted to know more about her; as much as he could, in fact.

A jolt of sudden uncomformity rushed up Yuri's nerves, making her soft skin prickle tentively. She shook her head and answered the question, "I live my Mother and Father, I don't see my Father often though. My Mother, she... cares about me a lot." She felt guilty for not properly opening up, she wasn't lying but was just... polishing over the dirt through words. "I-I can tell, she does her best. So does the Butler, and the maids too." The Photon spoke, "No, I don't live in some sort of Clan or something like that."
(I would have Yuri ask about Sin's parents but wasnt it sin who lost his parents? Yeah that would hit home XD)

(Lol she can. She wouldn't know that anyways, only we do hehehe.)
"Butler? Maids?" Sin remarked with a questioning eyebrow. "Oh cool, sweet! You rich or something? Haha that sounds epic," he told her with a smirk. "I've got some decent money leftover, can get pretty much whatever I wanted. Don't have to spend it on bills and stuff like those living among Humans," he said with a laugh. "Your crew, they Human? They know what you are?" he wondered- a dumb question, of course. But he was nosy.

Yuri's ocean blue eyes sparkled and she nodded, "Yes they know we're Photons, they're different species of Gifted as well. They wouldn't be human would they? If they have, they would of most likely put on those 'trials' i heard about," She opened her eyes a little bit, "You don't need to pay bills and such? Do you not live in the natural world with your parents?" The Girl asked, surprised.

Sin's heart skipped for a second as the question came up. "No, I, uh..." he paused as they continued walking through the marsh, the path here made by constant footsteps through the reeds on the way to the beach, so they were mostly flattened. "I live in Safehouses during the summer. Cool, huh? I've been to this one little cottage in Australia- pretty sweet, actually, up on the bluffs- and to a huge apartment setup in the States, and even to Ethiopia and China. I've got it made," he feigned a joke, trying to act friendly and carefree, as usual. But the truth was, putting it this way stung. Sure, there were quite a few other students here like him, without family, and that made him feel...well, less different. But hearing others talk about their parents, their whole familys, heck, even their family groups when it came down to Clans and communities, yeah, it hurt.

Yuri puffed her cheeks, tinting them cherry red, for a second before tilting her head. "I thought Safehouses were those horrible, icky, dirty places. So you don't live with your parents then?" She asked evenly, Yuri couldn't read minds but she could tell by the way Sin spoke that something was up. She wouldn't ask what it was of course, that would be ironic, she should let him keep to his secrets so that she can keep to her... many secrets. "I've been to a load of places: Moscow, Paris, New York, London, Rome, Athens, Tokyo..." She stopped there, not really knowing if Sin wanted to name all the places she has been. Mainly famous cities, but places with incredible views too.

"What?" Sin snorted. "No way. I mean, they're not your own home. But they're...more or less safe, and interesting. I mean," he started, smile appearing again as he tried- like always- to see the brighter side of things, "so long as you can deal with those self-righteous Keepers all the time," he added with a laugh. "But other than the school, it's the best place to meet a ton of other kinds of Gifted. I've hung out with Vamps, Specters, Magiks, Godsend, all sorts of Elementals...Ya know, the works," he mentioned as they reached the beach, looking over at the sands in front of them, the rocky cliffs to their left, the splashing ocean as the waves lapped against the shore a hundred feet away. "How come you've traveled so much, then?" he wondered. "I mean, I guess that's a perk of being with your family. Did you interact with Humans, then?" he asked her, curious. He found them the most interesting of all, those Humans that didn't have to become Keepers...they had a whole different world! His family, before, had technically lived in a town among Humans, but they hadn't gone out much. Not what they were looking for. So he hadn't really considered it 'living among Humans' since they didn't interact with them besides watching them outside their windows...

Yuri listened as Sin rambled on about meeting other Gifted students, however most of her attention was focused on the scenery infront of them. She didn't really like being close to the crashing waves, but watching them from a distance alongside the morning sky; Yuri considered it quite a sight. The breeze ran through her flawlessly blonde hair and the Photon reached to put her hand on her head to stop the hat from flying off. She snapped her attention back once the Hydro next to her asked the question, "Oh, we just travel a lot to see outside the country. Since most of the time, my Mother insists i stay inside the Manor and am only allowed outside in the garden when being watched by herself or one of the maids. I managed to sneak out of the house and into the garden alone once, but let's just say that didn't really end out very well." She paused for a few seconds before speaking again, "We interact a lot with humans when we're out visiting places. They're always trying to sell us random adverts and such or throw our money and visit restaurants, bars, clubs and whatnot."

Sin chuckled, finding all this interesting. "What? Why? Is she paranoid about Hunters attacking or something? I guess with different kinds of Gifted working for you, it could be a draw..." he shrugged, unsure. It all seemed really strange to him. As they walked through the sand, he reached to hold her hand. She hadn't pulled away when he held it before, but this time, instead of doing it simply in a comforting manner- as he did at the pool- or in a directional manner- pulling her to take her to the Hidden Cave- it was in a gentle, relaxed motion, just like, well, like...holding hands. He made sure they stayed close to the rocks on the far edge of the beach- away from the water- as they went. The fog was off the island, now, only in the distance off the ocean. The clouds were still apparent, but the sun was bright enough to be seen through them, not shining but heating things up none the less.

"I guess you could say that. Mother never really tells me why and doesn't explain certain questions very well. She either goes into one of her moods or answers with a simple, plain and non-detailed answer." Yuri replied, looking at the ground ahead as to not walk into any rocks. A few moments after Sin reached out his hand, Yuri held his hand; she didn't really think about it, even realise or fazed on what she had just done. She wasn't focusing much as he gaze drifted off into the distance, "I never knew the fog goes away from here, most of the time the fog was so thick you could barely see past several yards away."

Sin responded, "Maybe you should start finding answers for yourself then. I mean, isn't that what they're teaching us to do here? Find answers ourselves? Mostly in regards to the Hunters, of course, but eh. Same logic applies." As she gazed off, he nodded. "Yeah there's not that many good days here. Let's just be thankful it is right now. I mean, before classes and training starts, that's like the best time for it. When we can all just chill and relax. I love it!" he remarked, grinning ear to ear and beginning to spin. He took the girl with him, pulling her against him as he spin in a circle with her, smiling still as he threw his head back to enjoy the moment.

"I guess your right about that," Yuri stated, reassuring mainly herself. She fell into a void of confusion as soon as the Hydro began to spin, why was the Photon spinning as well? Yuri looked at her hand and her jaw almost dropped as she realised she was practically holding hands with the Hydro. She let out a high pitched scream inside her head as her face started to burn up a power red hue. Her eye twitched as she tried to figure out how she was holding hands with Sin in the first place.

Sin laughed further has he tripped in the deep sand, dropping down into the softness below them. He chuckled as they came to a stop on the ground, and he propped himself up with his elbow to sit up some. "I can't believe I never hung out with you before this. I mean, sure, I've seen you around, I think. A 'hello' here or there. But I don't know, just seems weird that I never caught your name." He shrugged. "I guess I'm just trying to say...I really like hanging out with you, Yuri," he admitted to her.

Yuri sat on her knees as soon as Sin sat up, listening closely and nodding every so often. Her naturally glowing eyes glimmered with happiness, an emotion that doesn't really show fully due to all the trouble the girl goes through, and the girl placed her hands on the lap of her white beach dress. "I have too," She smiled sweetly, "I should probably talk to more people and not shy away too much, there's a lot I've been missing and am still missing from this mysterious world..."

Sin nodded back at her as well. "Yeah. You should. I mean, I'm one to totally focus on my studies and training too- it's the only way to defeat the Hunters, right? But you've gotta have some time for yourself, too," he explained. "Life's short. You never know when it will be gone. Even in the Human world, people die all the time. In the Gifted world it's even more so, with the Hunters loose. Heck, might as well live everyday in happiness. So long as we're willing to fight, too," he added with a smirk and a wink at her.
