Finnegan Scott. Better known as Finn, King of Lakeland Coast Academy, a title he was very proud of but took advantage of regularly. With so many perks and loopholes, how could he not? However, on weekends or outside of school, what was the king to do? Gym, bother the freshmen, embarrass his little brother, Finley. The option were basically endless for him. But for now, Finn actually chose to do something casual for once, just a stroll around campus to see the sights, maybe run into a few friends, maybe a couple numbers from girls that he would never call.

Octavia carefully parked her small truck in the parking she had paid for before school had just started up once more and exited with a smile. The campus was always the same, but to be back was an amazing thing for the junior, her bracelets jingled as she proceeded down the walkway to the school. The young woman's title was something she held dear to her ever since she was accepted into the Sea Queen's group due to her edgy awkward middle school years so being as high as she was now was a supreme honor to her. As she walked down the path she smiled at some freshman and politely littered small "Good morning"s to those who she simply made eye contact with.

After a few minutes of walking around rather aimlessly, Finn started to think about his things in his dorm and if he had forgotten anything in his car. Sure, he hadn't run into anything that he knew was missing for sure, but he figured it couldn't hurt to walk out there and check for the sake of knowing. Before he knew it, he was walking toward Octavia, "Octavia!" he heard himself say brightly before he could think of anything to say, "Welcome back."

Octavia squeaked in surprise as she turned to where her name was called and a bright smile quickly formed on her face, "Hey there Finn!" She warmly greeted before approaching the young man. One of the other perks Octavia had loved was knowing many people especially people like Finn who had been a great friend of hers since their sophomore year, "It's good to be back, how are you?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

Finn stopped a couple feet from Octavia and gave his classic, charming smile as he looked down at her. "I'm good, I'm good! Rooting to end this year with a bang, but it definitely is good to be back. Nice to see new faces around here too that aren't just freshmen." Octavia was a great person and Finn loved her in the most platonic way he could since she was one of his closest friends. Being King was tough sometimes and he had to be careful with who he became friends with, he was just glad that Octavia was just there to ruin his life all those years ago! "How was summer?" he asked curiously, his smile failing to lessen.

Octavia nodded as she looked around, "Yeah it's super cool to see new people! But it must be hard for like, incoming sophomores and juniors who don't know what's up.. Oh well!" She shrugged with a small bubble of laughter. She paused for a moment, thinking how she could sum up her summer this year.. She could've mentioned a lot of things but most were just her at home eating cereal and staying up til the sun rose, "Well I didn't do much, but we did get to go to the Bahamas for about three weeks! It was amazing!" She gleefully replied as the memories of her vacation slowly came back to her.

Finn shifted on his feet subtly as Octavia spoke, trying to get a little more comfortable standing there. "I can't imagine moving halfway through your high school years, that would seriously jack up your credits." he commented with a small nod. Much like Octavia, Finn really didn't do anything all that special - ate way too much pizza, played video games and bothered his little brother. He wasn't a huge travelling person since he was bad at sitting still for any long period of time. "Lucky duck!! At one point, I didn't leave my house for a month." he chuckled, shaking his head at the thought. "It's good to be back in my element."

At his response Octavia gave a small playful gasp, covering her mouth with her hand and placing one hand on her hip, "You did nothing! Mr. Sea King I expected better of you! I thought you'd like go outside and do.. football?" She playfully scolded with her cheeks slightly puffed up.

Finn shifted his weight onto one leg and shrugged as he chuckled, "Football, that's the best you could come up with?" He laughed, but nodded, "I did that several times, thank you very much. But even I need some down time. Surprising, I know. But I'm people too, just a special type." He gloated and winked.

Allina and Xander pulled up into the parking lot of LCA, as the Academy was known as, looking for the permanent student parking that the Cross family had paid for. The Cross children's car was not the biggest, but man did they drive in style. Once Xander finished parking the car, Allina hopped out of the passenger seat and stretched. "Oh, it's so good to be back here," she said with a smile on her face. She looked into the car, seeing that it wasn't nearly as full as it had been in the past. The family had decided to rent a storage unit for the summer so the kids wouldn't have to move as much back and forth. This year, the Cross kids only had to bring their clothing and sporting equipment with them back to school. Allina looked around, took a deep breath and pulled her phone out, checking the time and to see if anyone else was around. "Hey, Xander, I'll see you later," she said with a wave to her older brother as she shut the door and walked off.
Xander nodded to his sister and did the same, locking the car as he walked off. They'd get their belongings later. Right now, they were going to catch up with friends they hadn't seen all summer.
