(Yeah, let's) Aldroan stood panting from the hike back to central city. He was in the center plaza, where a few vendors were still open. He had broken away from the group, and was headed home.

Chantal sighed as she gazed around at Central City. "I'll be lucky if the Airway is still open." She hummed to herself. "Can I walk with you, Chantal?" Faye asked, voice hopeful. Chantal shrugged before waving goodbye to Aldroan. Reicher turned to the two girls and shrugged, "I'll be heading off now, hope to run into you guys again." He said before walking in the opposite direction. Chantal and Faye said their goodbyes to Reicher before heading toward the heart of the massive city. "So, Faye, what's up? Is something on you're mind?" She asked. "A-actually, yeah. I leveled up when we were on your quest and I was wondering if you could use a level nine sniper-assassin in you guild." She asked a bit hesitantly. Chantal was surprised to hear that and gripped the cage holding the two Miscotts a bit tighter. "I'm surprised. I wouldn't have guessed you would want to join my guid. It's brand new and I'm the only member, you sure you want to join my rickety raider's guild?" Chantal replied a bit sheepishly. Faye turned her body slightly as they walked so they were looking at eachother. "Of course! So, you're considering letting a level nine in your guild? Really?!" She asked ecstatically. "Yeah, I mean, you're a little inexperiences, but we all are. You seem to deal some good distance damage because of your air-walking technique and you're easy to get along with." Chantal responded a little more confidently now. "I'll get your pin and when we get a few more gold we can have the crest carved into your bow, if you're alright with that. We can meet at sunhigh tomorrow at Corrindane Barroom." She decided and Faye nodded excitedly in response. The two girls walked the rest of the way and a large bird set off to the human's territory with the Miscotts then the two said their good byes and parted ways for the night.

Beomar sat up, thinking about the giants. She saw Aldroan walk by to his home, but didn't feel the need to speak to him. That night she had received a letter about the brave individuals of Center city, and that they were needed. She was supposed to pick atleast five, as it was for the good of Izra. --- Aldroan walked over to the meats vendor, and bought two slabs of salmon. He walled over to his tiny home, and laid them on the cinders of his hearth, before grabbing a log, and setting it under. He then blew the cinders to bring the fire back to life.

Chantal looked up at the bright sky. She had spent the morning getting a scribe to make an official document for Faye and she held that and Faye's pin. She made her way to Corrindane Barroom to see Faye waiting outside the door. She waved over and greeted her once she was there. She wasn't wearing her white gauntlets or cape today and had on black slip-ons instead of her normal clunky armor boots. Though, she still had her shield and sword slipped to her belt just incase anything happened. "Let's get a table; lunch on me as my welcoming you to the guild." She said as they headed in. -- Reicher stood in the Westron Archives. It wasn't very large or impressive, but that was because most of the records from the war had gone missing centuries ago and no one knew quite what really happened. Some people say that the giants never really left, that they were just hiding, biding their time until they could strike again. Others say they were all killed by a single knight. A number of people claimed that the giants were never here to begin with. Did he believe any of that? Partly. He wanted a certain book written in the magic language. Basically, if you weren't a magic user or scribe, you wouldn't be able to read it, or so the rumors say. He'd just heard about it a week ago from an Elvest when he was visiting the Roselock Towns in the Southern Forest Territories. He scanned the rows of books and found a thin, short book almost hidden by the larger ones around it and pulled it out. It was battered up and was titled Twev Lor Dosken by Carmon Tall. It translated closely to The Time of Giants. He sat down at a nearby table and opened it to begin reading. -- Six noticeable walked down the streets of Central City. A young woman stood in front, leading the group loosely. She carried a battle axe, the blade heaved over her shoulder. The female slightly adjacent and behind her carried a pair of sword in their scabbards with her case catching the light wind as she walked. A young girl with cherry red hair and a sword sheathed in its hold walked beside a seclusive and shy looking female dawned in a black, robe-like cloak. Bringing up the rear were a girl and boy who were casually dressed in cotton that were in shades of blue, standing out among the modern wear of leather and basic cloth linens. There were three things you could notice off the bat that gave way who they were. One; they walked with an air of suspicion of outsiders. Two; they were all warbeasts. Three; the golden, diamond-cross with the blue gem on the upper center, which was their guild mark, that dawned multiple times on each of them. Christine, the one leading, was annoyed by the rush of murmurs that followed them. "They're those foul Cherry Blossom Warriors, aren't they." "I heard they'll kill people for the right price." "Selling their skills is sick." "They aren't even a real guild, being one for hire. It's stupid." Yeah, they had a wide-spread, bad rep. They were heading for Dragon Tavern. They just finished a big job and wanted to do a little celebrating. Christine rubbed her shoulder with her free hand and sighed. "Who would have thought chasing out a hoard of stupid pigs would be so hard? Why'd they had to have those fox things keeping them tere then there was the matter with those really mean bear creatures." "I know, It ended up taking us three days because there were so many!" Alexa, the rabbit girl with the two swords, responded with annoyance and relief edging her voice. "And they were all between level eight and twelve!" Aimé, the adorable little red-head cat in the dark grey dress, said in a mix between a sigh of relief and a gasp of shock. "It would have been hard without Jamie and Katherine keeping us up with enchantments and healing." The only male of the group said, his wolf ears perked as he gave Jamie, the other wolf warbeast who just happened to be his girlfriend, a playful nudge on her arm. Christine gave a small laugh before noticing an older woman begging on a rug with a box that was most likely protected with magic. She fished out a few silver coins and tossed them to Beomar. She seemed to be a story teller of something, so she waited a few moments to see if the fellow warbeast would say something.

Leonard walked into the Westron Archives, looking for a book on the time or giants, as Beomar had recommended it. He went very far back, and to almost present day, but he couldn't find it. He sat down across from a strange looking meer man wearing mostly white. "Have you seen any books about the time of giants in here? Specifically one written in ancient toungue?" He didn't exactly want to ask the man, but needed the help. --- Beomar beamed to the woman who showed such generosity. "Thank you so much for your kindness. Would you like to hear about the time of giants? Maybe the origin of Warbeasts? Or maybe you would like to learn about me, or this town." She knew these warriors wanted something in return, but couldn't tell. She pulled her warhammer which lay on her rug slightly closer to her.

Christine was glad that the woman offered a list because Aimé burst out with, "Christine, Christine! Let's hear about the origins of warbeasts!," in an excited tone. Christine watched as Alexa turned to Katherine, who didn't seem to interested and, before speaking, waited for a nod from Christine, "Katherine, let's head to the tavern and get a table." Katherine nodded and thetwo girls walked off, leaving Christine and the other three to listen. Christine sat to the right with Aimé and Jamie in the center then Jake on the left, making sure to sit close so they didn't take up to much room on the road. -- Reicher raised his head as a man sat across from him and asked him a question. "Well, this is a book closely titled The Time of Giants and it's written in the magic language. There's not to much information, but what there is probably isn't the exact history." Reicher said. He was already halfway through the book as it was short, small and he was well versed in the magic language.

Beomar smiled as they all sat down "Good choice" She told them. "Long, long ago there were peaceful artisans known as giants. These giants were well versed in magic, and loved to experiment with the creation of life. There was one giant" She stopped, and realized there was a mistake "Sorry, there is one she-giant Izra, a goddess of the warbeasts, crafted them with her overwhelming magic and the ideals of beasts of the earth. She stayed with them for length to help them, their home being the Tree of Izra. It is a tale old as our existence, bearing with it the effects of our curse. What was lost is unknown to us, but surely it would have saddened our goddess giant. All Of Her kin were strong warriors, and have gone down in history. Bear the title of warbeast with honor, as it will guide you." She smiled "Any questions?" She was wondering if these low levels wouldn't believe her. --- Leonard slammed his fist on the table. "That's it..." He sighed, then told the man about why he called it the ancient language. "By the way, magic speech is less commonly known as ancient speech, or giant tounge, as the giants mainly spoke it, and invented it, and it has been lost in time, only the very powerful words have been remembered. The easiest way to learn it is to learn Warbeast call magic, the two are very similar. You just have to be awakened by a level twenty or above warbeast. Then you just have to learn it yourself."

Reicher listened before nodding. "Then... Toriharn telf. Ne clath torth zoq tewv sweezet harn. Ne torthlokt pthosweezet. Tori telfdalth harn Doskenlor Rinnne." It almost directly tanslated to Friend's words real. I command not to bear the powerbeasts' words. I not create enemy of powerbeasts. Friend real inside words of Giant's Time come myself. But, for anyone with a brain, it was more along the lines of, Alright, that sounds about right. I'd rather not learn the call of the warbeasts since I believe it would be insulting to them. So, I assume you believe in the Giant's Time like me. He tapped the open book in front of him when he'd finished speaking. -- Christine personally didn't believe in this stuff, but the other three seemed all to interested. "Awesome!" Jake exclaimed when she'd finished, eyes bright. "Wow, a giant really made us?" Jamie asked excitedly. Aimé pitched in too, "Wow, it's like we're the children of a goddess. Does that make us goddesses too?" If we're the children of a goddess, then why the (excuse my language) hell didn't she step in when we were treated like dirt. I refuse to believe this; that would mean those people who hurt us were 'divine'. Like hell they were.

He smiled. "Yes, i have searched the earth for writings and evidence of the Giants, and it is hard, but it's one of the most interesting things you can learn from. The Warbeasts often times don't find it offensive if you want to learn from them, but you will have to repay them, or be in debt." He hated to speak in Giant's tongue, as his magic is easily accidentally ignited. "I still wish to see many relics from their time, i just hope they are still anywhere." --- "I guess that's a way of thinking, but she wasn't even considered a goddess until she created us. Any Giant is worthy of thanks, so if you ever get the chance to meet one, take it." She thought for a moment. "You guys seem like a powerful group... If you would like to learn more about her, and get some rewards, I might have an adventure that will suit you." She wouldn't send them to her old master, instead she would test them to see if they even could help her old master.

Christine stood up and her group followed suit. "Thanks, but we'll have to think about that one. We'll come back and talk if we decide we're interested." She said before giving a small nod to Beomar then walking away, heading for the cavern. "Wow, Warbeasts are so cool!" Aimé said happily as she walked near Christine. "Yeah, we are." Christine agreed. -- Reicher shrugged. "Guess I'm just not interested in warbeast tongue. I mean, the language of the giants is so diverse and tied to many interesting things. I actually did some searching when I was in the towns of Roselock, you know, down in the Southern forest territory. They have a cathedral down there that's partly destroyed and, on display in the center, they have a broken sword and a shield with burn marks, holes and a lot of scratches. They think it was from some ancient hero, you know, like our present day heroes that go around helping people on requests. This book was the main lead from down there beside rumors, though none of them quite connected." He mused. He pushed the book between them and flipped back a page to point out a selection of text. "It mentions here that, though the giants spoke the magic language, it was widely used among the races and almost no one used our current tongue, I actually think it's only mentioned once of an odd verse uttered by a giant that was apparently a new spell or something." He said, flipping back a couple more paged to point it out. Then, he added, "but I can't read all of it for sure since the words on the outer side of the page are faded and only a few letters can be made out so you kind of have to guess on what it's saying."

Beomar gave a small smile as the group walked away. If they come back, maybe i'll be able to help them more than they'd assume. --- "Hmm..." He thought for a moment. "Have you tried a restoration spell? You know, the one that brings an item to it's former state? It doesn't always work, but does on most writings." Of course, this spell works best when used by a scribe, but most can use it.

Leonard touched his hand to the book, and spoke a simple combination of magical words. "Hew wok lor" And the words appeared. He shot a smile to Reicher then said another thing. "My name is Leonard, i'm a lore walker. We're not extremely common." He then pulled some paper out of a bag he had brought in, and looked for a quill. "Ugh! My ink spilled!" He spat "And that stuff was from Enstrals!" He turned back to Reicher. "Don't tell anyone, but I might need to take that book from the Archives." He laughed "I'll just come back, because i have to do translation and everything."

"I'm Reicher, a Seeker. Not very common either." Reicher replied. Truth be told, almost no one knew about seekers. Well, that was because they basically stole relics, scrolls and treasures. Well, it wasn't exactly stealing, more like, other people wanted them, but they got to them first. It was a big group of them of about fifteen people and every once in a while they would bump into eachother and share information, then, sometimes, their leader. Kiell, would call them all together to go over what they got and to figure out stuff about it. They were a bit like historians, but instead of preserving the state of the objects, they fixed them and used them, but, yet, they did try and figure out the history about them. Seeing as Leonard was a Lore Walker, he might have heard about them, but it wasn't like they were a guild. They were a group under a name and contacted eachother every once in a while. He actually had them all, plus some x members, on his friend list. When Leonard mentioned translating and maybe taking the book, his face got hard. "No way dude. There's a reason this is written in the magic language. Sure, it was written during the time they used it, but I'm sure even you can feel the magic on this book before you casted your little spell. If someone wants to read it, then they should learn the freaking language. There's no honor or worth in reading a book like this if you won't put in the effort. So, like hell am I going to let you translate this thing on paper." Reicher said coldly, ice forming under his fingers on the table. There was a reason why he normally didn't go to places where there are a lot of people: When he gets serious about something, his powers go off. Probably he couldn't fully control his powers when he was like this was because he was half human. Humans can't use magic so, naturally, they wouldn't be able to control it.

"I wanted to translate it so I could show it to Beomar. She has some ability in the magic language, but nowhere near as much as someone trained by a scribe, or a scribe themselves." He thought for a moment. "You were one of the ones Beomar met when helping Aldroan, right? She told me about the adventure once she got back. She requested me to gather information on Izra before I headed home to Esterfall, in the Forest, so i'm trying, with some of her help." He lived on the outskirts of the town with his sister, and a few friends lived nearby. Of course, most were full Elvest, but there were some dwarves, but only one human family, as the Elvest often times distrusted the greed of humans.

Reicher sighed and leaned back in his chair. "Sorry, guess I overreacted. I can't believe she doesn't know the magic language well. I mean, she's a priestess and warbeast after all." His tablet buzzed and he pulled it out to check what was up. It was a message from Kiell. "You want information on Izra?" He said, pushing the tablet over. The message was written in the magic language to keep others from reading over it so easily, but for Leonard it should easy as day. To meet at Lorstrall for a meeting on the Giants Time era. "Looks like he must have found something good if he's calling all of us so soon. Look at the date. We're to meet in two days, it should take just that much time to get there from the central city. If you want that info, I'm going to leave right now, heck, let's borrow that book if you're coming." He suggested with a wildly excited look.

Leonard smiled widely. "I'm in, let's go." His pack held a lot of books that these seekers could use. "Woah... Of course i'll come, and Beomar can use magic speech, but it does something to her. I think it had to do with her initiation, as Paladins weren't meant to be smart or learn, they were the muscle, effecient at keeping their peers alive. Her eyes turn white and she starts to pant, there is also the possibility that she was cursed by a non believer."

Reicher hummed. "Interesting. I'll get Snake to look into that later." He mused before nodding to Leonard. (I have no idea why, but I just imagined Leonard blowing up the archive because he was to lazy to use the exit XD ) He was a bit glad the man was coming, he was interested in him and he was sure the other Seekers would be as well. "Well, let's get going, Leonard. And while we're at it, might as well add you to my friends list. I think it'd be good for us to keep in touch after this." He suggested, picking up his tablet and walking toward the Archive's exit. He tapped away at the screen and then the friend request went in to Leonard and he sent this to Kiell, On my way from CC. Bringing a friend, you'll be interested. Of course, though, it was in the magic tongue. Bing. From Kiell: You've peaked my curiosity, Reicher. I'll be looking forward to meeting them. He slipped away his tablet and continued South. "We can reach the Southern Border by night-fall and I know a few places where we might be able to stay. Tomorrow will be easy to get to the place." Then, more to himself he murmured, "Gosh, Kiell, such short notice, you never know what you might pull in." He gave a small, short laugh before looking over to see if Leonard was following. "Oh, that reminds me," He said before continuing, "Arozet Tori, Rinn muq zoq hark evk par." (Air beast friend, come fast bearing earth and water.) "Loe, my white falcon, will bring us some provisions from my place. -Oh, I'm a sorcerer, but I can summon certain creatures." He explained simply.

Leonard smiled as they left the building. He had taken the book, because it may have had valuable information. He pulled out his slate tablet, and looked at his friends list, consisting of Beomar and two others. His sister, Edith, and his dwarven neighbor, Theo. He accepted Reicher's friend request, the shot a message to Beomar will be out of town for a while, i have found some valuable assets on Izra She messaged back saying Be safe. "That's cool, my sister has summoner as her subclass, so I can see why you'd use your magic to learn it."
Edith - Half Elvest - 24 - lvl. 12 - Scribe, Summoner - A tall, pale woman with dark brown hair, often times braided, green eyes. Her ears are pointier, and longer than her brother's - Lorewalker - Primarily uses her magic to create huge creatures, or many small ones. She will often times summon a beehive in the middle of a fight. Edith usually wears a white linen shirt, and brown baggy pants, but wears thigh guards, and elbow pads made of metal. She wears nice boots. Edith also carries a large mace, made by dwarves, who have some of the best smiths in the world. -

Now we have an agreement, we have to tell each other everything, but no one has ever even peered into our knowledge. Even if you just tell me, she'll hear about it." Leonard laughed. He shot Reicher a wicked smile. "Alright." He tapped on his tablet in the ancient languege (Too lazy to use the codex rn) Come here, i'm just leaving center city with a guys who has a group of people like us! She typed back: kk, i'll be a few mins, at the edge of the forest with beast. He turned to Reicher. "She'll be here soon, she just has to get Garry in check." Realizing Reicher didn't know who Garry was, he explained. "Garry is her finch." He wanted to shock Reicher by Garry's size, so he didn't tell anything else.

Edith was... eccentric to say the least. She was struggling with Garry, who was extremely intelligent. She had just gotten his saddle on, which her neighbor made her for an insane amount of gold, but he was struggling against her letting him on. He desperately wanted some food, despite having stolen from a chicken coop an hour ago. I guess that's why Leonard recommended against picking a giant finch to be my main summon she thought as she finally hitched herself onto the animal. "Okay, Up" She said, pulling on the reins. Garry lifted her high into the air, very quickly. The breeze on her face was relaxing, and she gave a laugh, as Garry started to glide. He had a red face, and a slightly pink chest, he wasn't very good at fighting, but was great transportation --- Leonard smiled as the bird came. "You're summons are adorable" He sighed "Edith has a literal beehive as one of hers, but the only issue. The bees are the size of your fist." He laughed. "She can't use it often, but it is one she likes to use. Most of her summons are just flashy, like most of my magic. We don't have to kill, if we can make people not fight us." --- Aldroan walked around the richer areas of Center City, wishing he could live in one of the houses. He was going to be evicted with the lack of income he now had. He had stopped on the steps of Corrindane Barrom, admiring the architecture.

Chantal had placed their order a few minutes ago after dealing with a bit of a wait and was just getting ready to hand Faye her contract and pin when the younger girl suddenly spoke, "hey, isn't that Aldroan?" Faye asked before standing up and waving from her chair. "Hey! Aldroan! Over here!" She called excitedly. -- Reicher shrugged, "I guess you could say that." Actually, thinking about it, a lot of his summons were pretty cute. His giant rabbit beast from te time with the trolls, then his little standing dog and his animal summons were all white, though, he wasn't sure if he'd go as far as calling Loe cute. Okay, she did was fluffy feathers and large eyes, but her sharp beak and piercing talons were a bit of a turn off. Not to mention Cori, with the body of a dob, the claws of a lion and the wings of a bird, she's quite a sight. -Though, she was definetely part dog with all her affection, probably the only scary thing about her is when she's tearing the limbs off of her meals. Still... "GAH!!! Why are all my summons fluffy?!" He burst out suddenly.

Aldroan looked around as he heard Faye's voice, then saw her. He waved as he walked over. "What are you guys doing in the rich area of Center city?" He asked curiously, sitting down. --- Edith soared through the skies, her bird the size of a house, and not fully grown, would of course fly fast. She was nearing them, so she pulled out her tablet, and typed to Leonard: We're about a minute away, Garry says hi! Leonard looked at his tablet, and typed back to Edith: kk, make sure to land right in front of the new guy, i want to scare him. He has tiny summons. She typed back: Will do, i'm coming up on the city. Garry started to swerve towards the smell of food in the city, but she pulled his reins, and kept him on track. Leonard turned to Reicher. "Have you tried getting them to high levels? Garry is level ten, which made him become scarier. He was a cutie earlier." Leonard wondered how Reicher would think a Finch to be scary.

Reicher sighed. "Yeah, Cori's level ten, you'll meet her later and Lark is level three, he actually isn't that cute. I've got loads of mid-level monsters. Loe was level eight." He replied, exaggerated misery lacing his voice. He looked up when he was sure heard something and he saw something huge coming this way fast. "That's freaking big... Wait, if there a little girl on that thing's back?! Don't tell me that's your sister! Geeze, that bird could reck the city if she's not careful when she lands!" He exclaimed, though he was more surprised than scared. Then a thought came to his head. "I'm done for. I am so done for. Kiell's going to wreck everything when he gets to your sister. My gosh, might as well say my goodbyes to the seekers now. Kiell's really going to have a blast when he hears this." He said with a heavy sigh. -- "You're just in time, Aldroan. Faye is just about to become an official member of my guild." Chantal greeted him. Faye let out a little squeal and she passed the girl the scroll of paper and she opened it. There was a quill inside along with the pin. "Just sign your name, I already signed mine. It's Exceed magic." She told her. As dwarves were responsible for accounting, Exceed normally took care of all the records that went through for the last couple centuries, though, past that, that being a century after the war ended, no one really knew what happened to those records. Faye signed her name shakily and let out another squeal of excitement as it disappeared and the pin was left. "Welcome, Faye, to Golden Horizon. You are now an official member of my guild!" Chantal exclaimed happily. "Aldroan, i'm paying ten gold for this meal, so you might as well dig in while your here. I ordered way to much and the age limit for drinking here is eighteen, so bottoms up to the two of us!" She said as she saw a waitress coming their was with a large platter. It had a whole roasted swine with a honey-spice sauce that tenderized it and there was Wolpertinger kababs and extravagant fruits surrounding them. "Two Golden City Ale please!" She said excitedly.
