"No I understand, I don't want Goldy to become too tired either." Gale nodded to Tie before looking at the mountain face with a critical eye, wondering if there was an easier way. "I've got it!" He called upon his Archeops once more. "Okay we need to stand clear so Tie come over here and stand back," He waved back down towards the path they had just come from, just a few feet though. "Archeops I need you to use Rock Slide right there and see if we can clear out a space to build a rest area at." Tie looked at Gale and walked back with his partners so they could stand beside him. Tie then looked at the Archeops and asked," Why use rock slide when you could use could use other moves." "Archeops has really good control over his Rock Slide, and it will help us clear a large amount of rubble and rocks in a short amount of time." Gale shrugged. "I'm open to other ideas if you have one. Would a water type move work you think?" He asked. |

Suddenly a hush fell over the festival goers, the trees and bushes at the edge of the clearing started to move and rustle. Everything was quiet for a moment as the people waited for the Pokemon to appear. Then there was a loud cry from the trees and a ton of Pokemon started to pour into the clearing. All types from around the forest appeared, some excited and others nervous and more timid.
Sam grinned as they watched the Festival start and people began to interact with the wild Pokemon from the forest. They nodded to Hunter and the other trainers. "I'll meet up with you after the festival. Just keep an eye out for any suspicious characters." They told the Gym Leader before going off with Flare to enjoy the festival and make sure everything went smoothly.

April gasped as the wild Pokemon suddenly burst out into the the clearing. Her lips curled into a smile as she watched the Pokemon wander around the festival. Ace and Luxray stood beside her, watching the wild Pokemon pass. "Let's see..." April called back Luxray, she turned and glanced around; unsure where to go first. Ace intereacted with many of the Pokemon, an excited and enthusiastic expression across it's face.

Hunter smiled as the wild Pokémon came out into the clearing. This was her favorite part of the festival when people and Pokémon came to together to have fun, she looked over to see ghost freak interacting with some the Pokemon. Hunter nodded to Sam as they headed off to enjoy the festival, she kept the reminder to watch out for any suspicious characters in the back of her head, this was suppose to be a special event and she wanted to keep it that way.

(Okay Random Pokemon it is! *Spins wheel*)
A Drapion stood in front of Ace, screetching with excitement. It seemed it wanted to battle with April and her Pokemon! It dipped it's head to April, showing that it was willing to let her make the first move if she wished to battle. It seemed that all the Pokemon around that wished to battle only wished to do it for fun and not for ill will. They all liked to prove their strength to the Trainers and show their excitement to the town for the festival.

Goldy then went over and helped Gale's pokemon clear the area. Gale shrugged, since his team was all flying types he didn't have many moves to chose from that would clear rocks, so he was making do with what he had. He watched as the two Pokemon made quick work of the cliff face, making sure that nothing was going to collapse on them. "Okay that's good!" He called when a good space had been made. "Perfect! Thanks you two!" He reached into his bag and took out a couple of berries that would help them regain their strength. "Here have one too!" He offered one to Carracosta as well. |

Peter grinned, glad to see Akai had a sense of adventure. "Great! I can't wait!" She wondered what other mysteries there were to be found within the wilds of the Shuri region. The bushes in front of the traveling trainers rustled suddenly and growling could be heard from within. (Y'all ready for some action?) |

April glanced over at the Drapion, assuming what the Pokemon was proposing. "You want to battle?" She repeated in which Ace responded with a gentle chirp. "Great!" She said, standing back to give space for the battle. "Alright Ace. Swords dance!" She called out. The Leafeon nodded and several blue swords appeared and spun around it for a moment. The swords stopped and pointed towards Ace before disappearing. A brightly-colored red aura rushes upwards along the Leafeon's body.

"Oh no we missed the start!" Quinn exclaimed noting the time and the sound coming from a few blocks away. "Let's get over there, there is gonna be plenty of pokemon and trainers to meet!" She started into a run toward the festival, her Quilava running at her heels.
Upon arrival at the site of the festival, Quinn was in some awe. There were people and pokemon everywhere. They were battling trainers and sharing berries with one another. Laughing and milling around. The feeling in the air made Quinn instantly happy and excited. "What do you think of this Helios?" She said still looking out at the festivities. He barked something up at her, which of course she didn't wholly understand, but she supposed he was excited too. "I wonder if we can catch any of the pokemon at this festival." she thought aloud. "Let's look for someone to battle! We're in a friendly battle kind of mood aren't we!?" What might have been a cheer came from Helios and Quinn echoed it and moved into the festival.

"Okay let's get this one set up as well," Gale glanced at the sky for a moment before turning back to Tie and the Pokemon. "You wanna set up the firepit again? I'm gonna start on the shelter, measure it out and make marks for where the posts should go."
Peter bumped into Akai's arm, looking at him questioningly for a second before looking up and seeing the bushes rustling. She frowned, suddenly afraid of what could be in the bushes. But she stopped herself and took a deep breath, not wanting to be scared.
A group of 3 Panpour jumped out of the bushes infront of Akai and Peter. They were wrestling with each other, not aware of the two trainers, screeching and laughing to each other as they playfully fought over a single berry. Suddenly the berry bounced out of their grasp and rolled past the two trainers and promptly fell into a Yungoos Burrow. The Panpour seemed upset about this and like they wanted to blame Akai and Peter for the loss of their Berry.
The Drapion reared back before striking forward with great speed and trying to grab Ace with it's Poisonous claws, using Poison Fang to try and Poison the Leafeon.
(Hey Rain is there any specific Pokemon Type that Quinn might want to add to her team?)

"Eh?" Akai relaxed, but only for a moment. The berry rolled past them and he pulled out his pokeball "What are you looking at? We're not that ones that tossed your berry into there." Akai snarked, locking them with an unreadable gaze. He was ready to fight if it came to that. This would be good practice for his Rowlet.

There was a Pokemon still in the trees that was watching the festival go on. It seemed like it was disinterested in the party, grunting whenever another one of it's friends tried to get it to come out and have fun. It wasn't actually uninterested, it was waiting. For a trainer to battle that would push it's limits. It had it's eyes on April till the Drapion pulled her into a fight before it could. But then another trainer caught it's eye, she was running late to the festival along with a Quilava and they both seemed strong and eager to battle. Suddenly it was gone from the treetops, appearing right infront of Quinn.
"Nuzz," The Nuzleaf grunted, getting into a battle position, showing it wanted to fight.

The Panpour looked at Akai and Peter for a little bit, till the Yungoose from the burrow stuck it's head out and started chattering to them before spitting the Berry seed out in their direction. It seemed to be making fun of them. The three water type Pokemon started to screech angrily and the three of them ran past the trainers and started trying to reach into the hole to get the Yungoose, but it was already deep in it burrow and out of harms way.
"Are they really fighting over this?" Peter asked as she bent down to pick up the berry seed with a frown. "There have to be a ton more berries around here right?"
The Panpour all turned back towards the trainers and saw that Peter was holding the remains of their berry and did not like that at all. One of them jumped forward and spun around, whipping it's tail toward her. As it spun a bunch of water formed around it's tail and splashed into her, knocking her back onto the ground with a strong Aqua Tail (that it somehow had as an egg move).
"Hey what was that for!" Peter snapped at the Panpour, not liking that she was now soaking wet. Other than that she was unharmed. That didn't stop her Turtwig from forcing itself out of it's Pokeball and standing between Peter and the Panpour, shouting angrily at the Pokemon in what must have been very strong language for they all stopped and stared at him before getting angrier. Peter looked to Akai, not sure what to do about the situation.
(lol this was fun to write)

Ace had just finished using Swords dance a few moments after the drapion lunged forward with a poisonous attack. The Leafeon could barely react as April called for him to jump out of the way, one paw was stuck between the poisonous claws. April gritted her teeth for a moment before thinking, if the drapion had the leafeon locked - then Ace would be close enough to attack, right?
"Energy ball!"
Ace squinted as the Pokemon prepared for the poison to kick in, as it's trainer called out an attack the leafeon opened it's mouth, a green coloured ball of energy began to grow.

Akai glared at the Pokémon and opened the Pokeball in his hand. Rowlet appeared in a flash of red and shook its feathers out, looking over the Pokémon in front of it with a cold glare. "Rowlet use Razor Leaf." Akai ordered. The bird Pokémon leapt into the air and spun, sharp leaves raining down towards the water Pokémon. If they wanted to start a fight, Akai would take the chance to level up his pokemon.

The Drapion's eyes widened as the Energy ball hit it square in the face, causing it to drop Ace. It staggered back a few steps and shook it's head, the move didn't affect it much. "Pion!!!" He called with excitement. A dark auara coated it as it whipped it's long arms and tried to hit Ace with Nightslash.

The other, the one that knew Aqua Tail and seemed to be the leader or at least strongest of the trio jumped above the attack. It jumped at Rowlet and scratched at it with it's claws. "Turtwig use tackle!" Peter called as she stood up, dusting herself off and wringing out her soaking shirt. Her pokemon jumped at the Panpour that was trying to scratch Rowlet and tackled it out of the air. "Good! Now use Withdraw!" The other Panpour has recovered and were coming at Turtwig and Rowlet with their own Scratch attacks. Turtwig curled into it's shell, raising it's defense against the attacks. |

In the air and its beak glowed slightly as it dove towards the Panpour that was moving the slowest. If it hit it would do a fair amount of damage and maybe take the Pokémon out.

Quinn was a bit overwhelmed, there was so much to see and do. It’d been a while since she had seen so many people and pokemon in one place. Something flashed across her vision and stopped a few paces in front of her. “Eh?!” The young trainer stepped backwards a bit, surprised. Quinn relaxed, noticing the pokemon’s stance. “A battle then?” Her pokedex buzzed in her pocket, but she ignored it, she knew this pokemon already. She glanced at Quilava. “You sure you want to fight a fire type?” Helios was already ablaze, the heat he created hit her like a wave. “Well alright then.” She glanced around. There wasn't too many people in this spot. “Okay we’re good, let’s go Helios!” Quinn stepped back a few paces to give the battle more room.

I think he's at that age to evolve into emo Teenage bird lol) The Panpour took the Peck directly and fell back, it was the youngest of the three and not the strongest. It hadn't fainted but it wasn't strong enough to fight anymore so it fled into the bushes. "Turtwig use tackle!" Peter called and her Pokemon slammed into the second Panpour, sending it tumbling back in the dirt. The First Panpour was furious and started to do another Aqua Tail attack, aiming for Rowlet. |

The Drapion too the hit with a hiss of pain. Before Ace could jump away it grabbed the Grass Type in it's claws and used Poison Fang again, releasing the Leafeon before it tried to use Energy Ball again. It was smart it seemed and was learning April's fighting style. |

It then sprang away, not wanting to get too close to any flames the fire-type shot at it. |
