Hugh came running out of the Pokemon Center and yelled, "eeeeeeeh! Im so excited!" He realized that the whole city probably heard him. Then he saw a kid around his age, his head was down. And he had a Frogadier behind him. "Cubone Cu!" Hugh Cubone sad and danced around on the ground. Hugh smiled and walked over to the Frogadier kid. "Hey!" He said to him.

(Yeah Honcho! Gimme just a second. I'm about to plop Sam, in the middle of the region if you want Hugh to run into them?)
(And yeah I'm thinking I want the Elite Four at least in the 60s so they can have really strong moves.) I'm not sure how to get there without making it really unfair)

Dante turned his head as he heard a voice called out behind him. Just great. His frogadier seemed to be thinking the same thing, looking down at the Cubone with a flat expression. The trainer turned to look at Hugh, "What do you want kid?" He said rather coldly.

"Hey!" Hugh growled. "If you want to think your so tough, I think my Cubone would love to stuff his bone down your throat!" Hugh grabbed his Cubone Skull mask. "Lets battle!" He put it on. "If my Cubone knocks out your first pokemon you choose, he stays in and you choose your second one. You get the point." He explained then, Hugh pointed at Dante, "Go Cubone!"

April's smile softened and she put a hand on Peter's shoulder to comfort the trainer. "I understand your concern. But think about it, if battling hurt Pokemon so much, why are there so many trainers to this day battling? And you have nothing to worry about, there is always a Pokemon centre in each city." She paused for a moemnt before saying; "Of course, if battling isn't really your thing... i guess there's contests or Pokemon performances? I'm not sure if they do those here though." Ace chirped something and April gasped, "Oh yeah! There is a romour that Contests might be brought to Shuri!" "I don't know... I could try a contest." Peter shrugged, but it didn't really sound right to her to do that. "I'll try for the GraniteCape Gym to see how I like it... I just wish I could have been more help during the fight." She felt better now than she did earlier, grateful to April for hanging around and talking to her. "But that just means I have to train with my Pokemon and do a lot of learning in order to become strong... like you!" She wondered if Akai would be willing to help her train, if he still wanted to travel with her and such. |

Dante scoffed, "I never stated I was tough. But whatever. it's your choice to battle." He snapped his fingers to gesture his Partner Pokemon to step foward. His frogadier steping out infront, glaring at the Cubone with sharp eyes. The trainer studied Hugh, smirking slightly at the mask. "And what is that mask for? To scare Frogadier?"

April chuckled at the compliment. "Just work hard. If you and your Pokemon team together, you'll become strong in no time." She then paused for a moemnt before adding with a smile, "and if you ever need to train with your Pokemon, I'll be glad to help!" Ace chirped in agreement next to it's trainer, it's leaf like tail flicking cheerfully.

Ezra was still at the police station, still too shy to really speak up. He'd managed to save a Houndour from that horrible museum, poor pup was clearly smaller than he should have been and was just as skittish as Ezra was at the beginning. The young dark type was pressed against the young man, not wanting to get close to anyone else but him. He had a pretty bad gash on his shoulder, some blood caking on his dark blue fur, but still wouldn't let Ezra try and fix it. He was hoping that he could wrangle the young pokemon once he checked in with the officer, maybe get all of them to a pokemon centre, but right now he was sitting and anxiously waiting for someone to take notice of them. |

Officer Jenny paused in organizing the other officers to begin clean up of the Museum and the gathering of the rest of the Shiny pokemon (it was made easier because the Collector kept really good records of the kinds of Pokemon he had and whether they were stolen or not). She went over to Ezra and smiled kindly at him. "Hey kid, you helped out with the museum incident didn't you?" She met his eyes, wanting him to feel safe. "It looks like you managed to find one of the Pokemon, mind if I take a look at him?" He looked injured and she needed to see if it was serious before calling for a paramedic.

Hugh smiled. "You'll see why! Cubone, Swords Dance!" Hugh's Cubone did what he said, and two swords formed around him, the Cubone did a little dance. "Now, Double Edge!" Cubone rushed the Frogadier, read to attack.

Dante narrowed his eyes before calling out a move. "Frogadier, Toxic!" The Bubble Frog Pokemon crossed its arms across it's body before letting out the purple toxic substance. The toxic should take damage out of the Cubone every turn, and they could win easily with that move; only if Frogadier can stand against Hugh's attacks.

"Aww, thats cute!" Hugh laughed, "Cubone dodge!" Cubone rolled underneath it. "Charge at Frogadier and use brick break!" Cubone got up quick and lunged at the Frogadier, and smashed his bone into it.

Dante huffed, he didn't say anything as the Cubone charged foward and used brick break. He was just standing there, watching; waiting. As soon as the brick break was about to hit, Dante called out; "Toxic." The Frogadier was damaged by the brick break, furiously stirring up the dust into a cloud, before letting out the purple toxic substance once again. Practically impossible to dodge at this range.
(I dont mind really. I guess Hugh can win? Since i believe he has more gym badges so would probably have higher level pokemon. But if Dante wins he can become Hughs rival if you wanted. Kinda like an ash and paul thing lol)

"Eh, well played," Hugh said, Cubone got up and got in ready stance. "Finish him off with Bonemerang!" Hugh said and Cubone threw his bone at him, and hit the Frogadiar right on the side of his head, and the bone came back to Cubone. And it repeated twice more. Now Hugh waited, to see if the frog pokemon could withstain that.
((Oke, Hugh could win I guess? And after maybe they could be friends? Cuz in his description it says, "He feels like he needs something, but he dosent know what." Maybe a friend he needs?

(I'm not sure they would be friends straight after. Dante would probably be really salty lol, they can start out with a really rough rivalry which eventually softens over time to form a friendship ^^)
Dante growled. The Frogadier took all the hits in, though it still stood strong enough to perform a powerful move. "Blizzard." The Pokemon then jumped a few feet away before blasting a howling blizzard of cold air, snow and small icicles at the Cubone.
