(I'm at the movies now so I'll look over ur Pokemon when I get home. Just wondering how far into the journey you think your trainer is, like how many badges? So I can give how strong your Pokemon should be)
Peter looked up in shock at the sudden voice. She blinked as she recognized April. "Y-yeah I just got my Turtwig yesterday!" She nodded and glanced around. "I was just.... Uh..... I don't know." She frowned as she looked down at Ace for a moment, admiring how strong the Leafeon was. "Maybe I kinda rushed into this? I don't even know what I want to do now that I have Pokemon! I just kinds of grabbed them and ran with it..... And because of that...... All this happened." She looked around at all the wreckage around them, aware that she was just dumping her issues onto this kind, random trainer but unable to stop herself.

"I can tell you don't want to say why you're actually upset." She smiled, understanding. "So, I wont press it. But I do want you to know that you did well today!" Though her tone was lighthearted she was honest. She let those words sit between them for a moment. "Oh!" The dragon trainer hastily pocketed her pokeball to offer him her hand to shake. "I'm Kendyl, by the way!" It didn't seem necessary to introduce herself as a gym leader, he likely knew it anyway.

Okay so I'm working on trying to get a more formal way of figuring out the levels needed for each gym. So I took the average of the highest levelled Pokemon from each gym in most of the games (9 in total from all generations except Sun and Moon since they don't have gyms) and I'm thinking of making that the outcomes of each of those averages around the level Pokemon in the Gym Leaders teams should be. Here's the raw data I got: - 13
- 20
- 25
- 29
- 36
- 39
- 44
- 48
Elite Four
1. 54
2. 55
3. 56
4. 57
Champion is 63
I'm thinking that as long as a gym's Pokemon is around those levels we should be good. I'm also thinking of making them a little higher? bc that's 3 gyms in the 20s so maybe gym 4 and above could be higher so to make it more fun, and the journey for each Trainer should level up their Pokemon a lot with all the events I have planned for each area and such.
This is to help me screen levels for Gym Leaders/Elite Four Members AND help decided how many gym badges each Trainer should have based on their Pokemon's levels
Levels for this rp is based on moves they know so I don't pay attention to the inbetween levels so this is based on moves Known
(Moves learned will be based off of the Sun and Moon movesets)

When battling, Hugh wears a fake skull that looks like Cubones (Personality will tell you why). And does not wear a hat or anything else. Then wherever he goes he wears a black and grey leather jacket with a light grey undershirt. Finally, for pants and shoes, he wears just the regular black and red shoes, and he wears sweatpants that have a red stripe going down the side. Personality: Hugh is a very cocky kid, but still can be super nice. He is only 13 but he still is a lot mature then a lot of other kids his age, accept for his braggy side. Hugh is very weird though, he has the Cubone mask in dedication to his Cubone. He got his Cubone when he was very young, before he could be a trainer, and kept him in his room hidden, and would play with him when know one was around. Now there best friends and Hugh thinks if he wears the mask while battling, they will be extra strong. In fact, if you and the other trainers with you didn't call Officer Jenny, that collector could still have been stealing all sorts of shiny Pokemon from trainers." Ace looked at April and nodded in agreement before looking back at Peter with curious sparkling eyes. "I'm glad I got to help out." She smiled, "So you chose Turtwig, huh? Usually a trainer's first choice for a gym battle is in Granitecape City, they're a Rock type gym. So Turtwig would be at an advantage!" She paused for a moment before shaking her head, realizing she was getting slightly off topic with the sudden subject of battling. "Or if you're not planning to collect gym badges at all," The girl scratched the back of her head.

Peter frowned and scratched the back of her head, "I-I don't know.... I didn't think that far." She was grateful that this experienced trainer was talking to her and helping her out. "Maybe? Just to see what it's like to battle gyms and maybe to get stronger..... But I don't even know what I'm getting stronger for...." She sighed as she tried to think about her future and the future of her Pokemon. But all that she had ever looked forward to was getting her first Pokemon and... that was it! She hadn't thought farther than that. "What if I'm just going to get my Pokemon hurt for no reason?" She looked up at April with worry clear in her eyes. The younger girl looked as if she was about to start crying, it probably had to do with the adrenaline coming down as well and making her realize she could have gotten seriously hurt in the fight.

April's smile softened and she put a hand on Peter's shoulder to comfort the trainer. "I understand your concern. But think about it, if battling hurt Pokemon so much, why are there so many trainers to this day battling? And you have nothing to worry about, there is always a Pokemon centre in each city." She paused for a moemnt before saying; "Of course, if battling isn't really your thing... i guess there's contests or Pokemon performances? I'm not sure if they do those here though." Ace chirped something and April gasped, "Oh yeah! There is a romour that Contests might be brought to Shuri!"
