The gym leaders are basically supposed to keep an eye out for Team Infinite and report it back to Sam and the Elite Four if something happens near them) (Tom this is like the third or 4th time I've had to ask you to expand on your responses as per the rules. Consider this your warning, if it happens again I will ask you to leave the rp. We need to keep it fair for everyone to have a good experience and it's hard to keep everyone immersed in the universe if a member doesn't give us something to respond to) Peter looked up when she heard a large crash come from the entrance to the back room. The Collector had slipped away during his Magnezone's last move and was trying to find a way out of the building, leaving his Pokemon at the mercy of the strong trainers in the other room. She ducked her head and motioned to all the Pokemon to stay quiet so he wouldn't find them. Turtwig moved to stand in front of the shiny Pokemon, protecting them if they all got found. Okay Noble o are they doing something now. Oh and Happy birthday Noble.) They probably all would have just recieved Sam's message. |

Looking back up he said "There's a back exit around here I think, he must be going that way." he had walked past it before all this had happened.

"You aren't going to be able to hurt these Pokemon anymore!" Peter shouted at the man, trying to hide the fear she had as she was practically pinned against the wall as he got closer to her. Her call reached the ears of officer Jenny. "You're right! And your friend is back there too!" She started running through the rubble towards the back entrance, Arcanine following close behind. "You think you can stop me?" The Collector laughed, he was nearly chest to chest with Peter now. He could see how afraid the new trainer was, and he didn't blame her, these dumb kids weren't the first people to try and stop him and the ones previous had been much stronger. He went to grab her arm. "As if, I'm going to use you to get out of here and-" Suddenly something hit his leg, he paused and looked down seeing Peter's Turtwig trying to tackle him. The man couldn't help but laugh heartily at the weak Pokemon's attempts to protect his trainer. "Turtwig don't!" Peter shouted, not wanting her Pokemon to get hurt. She watched as the man went to kick the injured grass-type, moving to try and stop him. Suddenly, right as officer Jenny burst into the room, a bone club flew out from the corner and smacked the Collector in the foerhead, causing him to take a step back. The Cubone, that had been the first to get released at the start of the fight, stood in front of the group of Shiny Pokemon, eyes filled with rage at the man. He raised a paw and pointed towards the man and let out a cry and all the other Shiny Pokemon cried out in return and let loose a barage of attacks against the man. Peter took the chance to grab her Turtwig and run away from the fight, collapsing just in front of Jenny and turning to look back. The man was shouting in pain and anger as the Pokemon he had collected over the years got revenge on all of the abuse he had inflicted upon them. ( sweetclover1 did you still want a shiny Vulpix?) |

Akai busted into the room a step after Officer Jenny. He was panting, his stamina reaching it's end. The sight in front of him gave him some sort of satisfaction. The pokemon who were obviously mistreated, were getting a fair amount of revenge. He couldn't help but smirk. The guy deserves every cut, bruise, burn, and every other attack that was thrown at him. If he had had enough energy he might have ran over and started kicking the guy. But for now he was too tired.

Beside it's fallen foe Kendyl's Mienshao looked proudly toward it's trainer. "Well done Mienshao, Come on, let's go." She turned to follow the kid and Officer Jenny, "Zwei you stay right there buddy." The dragon pokemon made disgruntled noises but stayed in place. With a nod she rushed after the others. Kendyl frowned as she looked to where the Collector was being attacked by all the shiny pokemon he had held captive and mistreated over the years. He probably deserved most of all the damage he was dealt. She was upset that he had abandoned his Magnezone to their mercy. Kendyl looked on for a few more seconds before crossing her arms and shaking her head. "I think that's enough." She said over the din in the most commanding tone she could muster. "He's had enough. Let Jenny take it from here." (A new character appears!)

Looks: Pushing the short side of Average she measures in at around 5’4”. Her eyes are rich dark brown and are a brilliant amber when lit up by the sun, they are deep looking. Large, but well shaped eyebrows. Her skin is a warm brown tone, she pride herself on her super soft hands. Her hair soft and wavy, almost curly. It’s pretty dark brown but not too close to black. She looks to be around 17 years old. Usually wears jean shorts and a t-shirt. With white sneakers and a backpack. Nothing special, she’s not a fashionista. Outfit changes to suit the weather (ex. Colder weather merits longer pants.)
Personality: Quinn is mostly nice...She isn’t the most friendly person out there but she is willing to make and be friends with people. She is loyal to her friends (and her pokemon) and is generally trusting. When it comes to winning, she wants it. She’s competitive and has a bit of healthy ambition. She is willing to take a few risks (as long as the end goal is worth it). She’s overall a very calm person, preferring a mild emotional state. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have emotions, she’s just mellow and a a bit muted. As of right now she is still a bit of a timid battler. Her pokemon are new to her. She didn’t bring her performing pokemon with her from Kalos. Her pokemon nature would be Modest.

(sorry made dinner with my gf and then watched some TV with her)
The Pokemon all stopped attacking when Kendyl spoke in her commanding voice. They seemed satisfied for the moment so they moved away from their abuser, shooting angry looks at him.
"Thank you," Jenny nodded to the gym leader. She pulled out her radio and called for some back up to help gather the shiny Pokemon and get them into the proper care and see if the ones that had trainers before could be returned to them. She then walked over to the battered Collector, her Arcanine standing over him to disuade him from trying to flee, and she began the arrest.
Peter watched for a moment before going over to Akai, eyes a little wide and face covered in dust, much like him. "W-we did it... I guess..." She tried to grin at him. "How's your back?" She remembered he had fallen in the glass earlier. She was still holding Turtwig in her arms, letting the pokemon rest after the intense battle.

"Other than having a glass shard in my shoulder, and a couple cuts on my back, I'm fine." he sighed, thankful that it was over "How are you holding up? It must've been pretty stressful to stop that guy before he got out." Akai smirked and glanced at the collector "He shouldn't have treated pokemon poorly. Someone was bound to come by at some point that had an eye for health. Pathetic." the trainer was glad, but didn't feel like gloating anymore. He walked over to a block and sat down, taking a break "I wonder how everyone else is."

Peter frowned, she didn't really know what she felt. She was a mess of emotions but nothing was really present yet. "I'll... let you know when the adrenaline wears off..." She laughed softly and followed him over to the block. "Great start to our journey thought right?.... well my journey really. You already started yours a while ago.... Was the beginning of yours this exciting?" She was rambling a little, she wasn't really good at sitting in silence.

"Not really. I just went through a couple gyms. Honestly I felt like I was robbed, but this definietly makes up for it." he could confidently say, that out of all his gym runs, that this had started out the most dramatically. He felt like he was in an action movie or something. At her comment about adrenaline he had to nod with agreement. He was sure to start feeling the affects of being battered and... stabbed? Did that even count? Well, as long as they helped the pokemon.

"Yeah," Peter nodded. She glanced over to the trainer with the Mienshao. "Hey," She lowered her voice. "Who's that? Like I know the other woman is Officer Jenny, but who's she? And why is she so strong?" She took out her Pokedex and had it scan the Mienshao. Mienshao, the Martial Arts pokemon, It wields the fur on its arms like a whip. Its arm attacks come with such rapidity that they cannot even be seen. The Dex read out to her. "Woah, cool!"

April had dissapeared for a few minutes, following her Leafeon to make sure there weren't any trapped Pokémon. She then reappeared and walked up to where Officer Jenny and the rest were. "Is everyone alright?" She asked. Ace trotted foward a few steps to greet the other Pokémon politely. The Leafeon barely had a scratch, and looked prideful. The brown haired girl sighed and turned to Officer Jenny, "Should I go check to see if there are any injured Pokemon around?"

"It's only my second day as a Pokemon Trainer," Peter huffed and rolled here eyes a little. But she was intrigued that a Gym leader had turned up and helped. She wondered if Kendyl would have time to talk, she'd be interested to learn some stuff from such a strong trainer.
Jenny looked up at April after cuffing the Collector. "That would be great, be careful though because Pokemon tend to lash out if frightened or injured. Back up is on the way to help round them up but see if any are in critical need of help." She nodded to the strong trainer. "Thanks for helping out back there, that fight was a little hairy."

April nodded, "Nah. It wasn't difficult of a fight." She then glanced over at Kendyl before saying, "I've had a gym battle where i had to think." She stated, suggesting that her battle with the gym leader took a little bit of thought. She then gestured to her Leafeon. "Let's go Ace," She turned before running off with her partner to find any injured Pokemon. She searched the place, looking for any strays; she didn't call out since it might frighten some Pokemon. Ace sniffed the air, trotting around as it helped it's trainer look for injured or frightened Pokémon.

Akai nodded "You've definietly had it more interesting than me. After this you'll totally be ready for your gym battle." he wondered when the backup was going to arrive. Maybe they should help out with looking for pokemon. Getting to his feet he glanced back at Peter "That was a good break, you want to help look for pokemon?"

Peter frowned, she didn't feel like she was ready for a gym battle, her and her Pokemon hadn't even been able to do any damage to the Collector's Pokemon. She stood with him and nodded. "Yeah, let's make sure they are all safe." She looked down at her Turtwig, "Do you want to rest in your Pokeball or help?" She asked him. As if to answer, the grass-type squirmed out of her arms and jumped to the ground, letting out a little sound as if to show that He wanted to help look. "Okay then." She smiled and glanced back at Akai. "I'll check over there," She pointed to the area she had been in before the Collector had burst into the back room.

(The last of the fight, The collector has been aprehended and now they are all just unwinding and trying to make sure all the Shiny Pokemon are okay and waiting for back up to arrive and help.)

Galaxy crouched before her Pokemon, giving them homemade treats and using a few potions. Her blue eyes were focused, but dazed slightly. She stood up and calmly glanced around for more Shiny Pokemon that needed help.

Akai nodded and walked over to the other side of the room. He found a shiny caterpie and helped it out of the glass cage that had not broken all the way. He was actively ignoring the pain in hsi shoulder and back. The pokemon were more important and he wanted to focus on them instead of himself. For now.
