Karkat hissed ad lost his temper, using Flamethrower. Nepeta nodded at her other Pokemon. "Come on, guts. Show them what we're made of!!!!" Vriska purred, and Terezi nodded.

Aradia pulled back into a defensive stance, her tail flicking. This will be her first time engaging in a battle since she had evolved, her moves would sure to be more powerful!

Felli smirked. Blair moved in front of the flames. The flames hit the pokemon head on. The second the flames touched the Lampent it's ability activated. Flash fire gave it immunity to fire attacks and upped it's fire attacks. This trainer obviously didn't know that fire was the last kind of attack you wanted to do on a Lampent. Pumpkaboo moved behind the Lampent to avoid that damage it could take from the attack.

Vriska pounced out of the smoke, using Shadow Claw. It was a set up. Karkat set up a chance for Vriska to sneak in.

Jack used Will-o-wisp. The blue ghostly flames smashed into the pokemon using Shadow Claw and left a burn on it. "Blair, use Hex." the move Hex would do great damage if the pokemon you used it on was affected by a status condition. The people on the street had stopped to watch the battle. Some muttered about it being two vs four. The lamp pokemons eyes glowed and the hex was inflicted on Vriska.

I have Lacy and Chasin open. Lacy is planning to attack though, so we have to wait until Noble is on to really rp with her.) Same for Grace because she hasn't been accepted yet.)

Felli swept out her arm as she ordered them to attack "Jack, use Bullet Seed on that Purrloin before it can recover! Blair use Flame Burst on the Litten! Quick." the Lamepent gathered energy and shot a burst of flames towards the small red and black cat pokemon. Her Pumpkaboo spun and shot a stream of softly glowing green seeds at the recoiling and injured Purrloin.

Karkat dodged the flames and pushed his friend out of the way. He got hit. It wasn't very effective. "STAY STRONG GUYS!!" Nepeta yelled from the sidelines. A blue glow enveloped the Litten.

"Pull back." Jack and Blair moved back, watching the Litten carefully. She knew it wouldn't be that strong. It was still in it's first evolution. But so was her Pumpkaboo. She knew the Purrloin was burned and was taking damage slowly, but they would have to find a way to deal with the fire cat.

"Jack and Blair, use shadow ball." they both charged up the attack and sent it at the fire pokemon. It wouldn't do super effective damage, but would do a decent amount of damage with both of the attacks.

The evolution was taking a while, as if the Litten were trying to fight it back. Vriska rubbed against him, giving him the courage to complete the evolution.

The shadowballs slammed into the pair of pokemon because they did not move. It likely caused a fair amount of damage. Whatever was happening with the Litten was fine with Felli. It seemed to be fighting against the evolution, leaving both the pokemon open to attacks.

Vriska was in between the two attackers and her friend. Her paws shook, but she used Pursuit.
Karkat finished evolving, turning into a Torracat.

It looked like the Purrloin might fall soon. "Blair, use Hex again on that Purrloin!" the Lampent float above the pokemon battle so it could see both the pokemon and hexed the Purrloin. The Torracat was going to be, in a word, annoying. Neither of her pokemon were really in a position to take it out. "Jack, use Shadowball on the Torracat."

Honestly, she only had two pokemon and if the trainer put in more she would lose. "Jack, finish off the Purrloin with Bullet Seed and Blair use flame burst on the Torracat!"

The flame burst was broken with the move. Lampent didn't have to worry about fire attacks though. "Fine, if that's how you want to play... Focus a Shadowball on it, both of you." Pumpkaboo spun away from the Purrlion and sent a shadowball towards the Torracat. Lampent followed suit and shot one down at it.

The recoil from the attack hitting the Torracat blew the pumpkaboo back. The grass ghost rolled back past Felli and was out of the battle for a few seconds. "Blair, quick, use energy ball to cover for Jack."

The grass attack was easily blasted away by the fire. While the attack was being blown away Jack had gotten back to the battle. "Launch Jack over their heads." the Lampent was used as a spring board of sorts and while it was over their heads it let out a rain of bullet seeds.

Jack took a bit of damage, getting nicked by the fire attack. It crashed into the ground on the other side. "Blair, use multiple shadow balls, let Jack get his breath back." the lamp Pokemon sent a wave of attacks. These were smaller and weaker but were distracting. "Jack, use synthesis." the pokemon started to absorb the sunlight and heal.

Since they decided not to defend, again, the attack hit them and Jack managed to restore his energy. Felli nodded to Jack and he moved close to the Purrloin and hit the pokemon with a close range Bullet Seed. Seeing that the pokemon had already taken a lot of damage that would most likely take care of it. Hopefully. Getting in close like this left Jack open to an attack.
