"Chrysanthemum, hang in there!" Laurel yelled as the beam of fire engulfed her Pokemon. The gardevoir emerged intact but visibly weakened. If she hadn't healed herself last turn, she definitely would have fainted. Laurel let out a sigh of relief, before calling out to her Pokemon, "Another Draining Kiss! Let's make this one count!" Only one more turn until Future Sight triggered... hopefully, she would be able to make it. "Flash use protect!" Sera shouted smirking as a shield appeared around Flash and blocked the attack from the other Pokemon. "Alright Flash use Psyshock!" she shouted a smile on her face as Flash's eyes glowed and balls of blue purple psychic energy appeared before the ninetales. He then pulled his head back before flinging it forward using that momentum to throw the energy balls at his opponent. The gardevoir took the hit, flying backward several feet from the force. Laurel clenched her jaw, inwardly hoping that the pokemon's resistance would be able to save her. Slowly rising to her feet, Chrysanthemum stood, badly beaten but still standing nonetheless. "Thank goodness," she sighed, watching her pokemon as she struggled to stand. "Try and hit them with a Psychic!" At this point, Laurel had conceded the fact that Chrysanthemum was going to faint. She could probably only take one more hit, even if she had a boost from a Draining Kiss. Instead, she opted to do more damage, hoping to take down Flash with her. The gardevoir nodded, launching a wave of purple energy at the ninetales. Just in time, Laurel smiled, watching as a second wave of energy enveloped the ninetales from behind. Future Sight! |

((I'm just going to roleplay Karkat and Vriska until either Detoxx or Lost return.))
Karkat kept his back turned on Eridan, glaring down at the ground as he thought of ways to get stronger. I could practice on trees, or on wild Pokemon, or on gyms... I just need to get stronger!
Vriska noticed Karkat had his back turned. She padded toward him. "Karkat, it's not your fault-" she started.
"It HAS to be my fault! I'm the leader! I should be able to keep the team together! But instead, I just cause more problems!!" Karkat hissed at Vriska.
"KK, you're being too hard on yourself." Vriska mewed softly. "You need to stop living in the past and move on. So what if one of our team members was a dirty traitor? He was the ne slowing our training. I've been a level 19 ever since he joined!"
"Vriska... You've changed a lot since you first joined the team..." Karkat murmured. "I just wish Eridan would have been the same way."
((Edit: I've decided that Karkat would be called "KK" by the other Pokemon on the team.))

"He has to choose his own path, KK. The important part is that the rest of us are here for you." Vriska purred softly and comfortingly.
"We'll have to train harder than ever, Vriska. MUCH harder." Karkat mewed confidently.
"You can announce that to the group later. Right now, we have a show to run." Vriska purred, holding up a paw for a high-five.
Karkat didn't leave Vriska hanging. She was basically his second in command. Yes, Terezi was calm and collected, but Karkat was the complete opposite. Vriska, with her split personality, could be calm and soothing one moment, then the next defending her friends with scarily savage wildness. Karkat slapped Vriska's paw like a high-five. "You ready?" he asked.
"Are YOU ready to speak for the whole group?" Vriska replied.
"I believe so." Karkat mewed, stalking forward to face Eridan. "We accept your declining of our invitation to be on our team. But please note, we won't go easy on you next time we battle!" he meowed, his voice smooth, strong, and confident. "We'll train harder than ever!"
Nepeta's eyes widened at Karkat's words. "But, Karkat, we're just gonna... leave him here? With someone we barely know?"
"Trust me, Nepeta. We can do SO much better than that stuck-up snob!" Karkat mewed, turning to his trainer.
Vriska started clapping. Terezi joined in. "Well said, Karkat, well said!" they both cheered.
((I'm thinking of giving Nepeta a Luxio and naming it Kanaya...))

(I would like her to be the first to evolve? But she needs a Moon Stone to Evolve. Perhaps she might find one and evolve without the others knowing and recognising her lol)
