The steel pokemon got grounded by the attack. The poison inflicted damage to the litten "Return." Lacy held up the pokeball and her pokemon returned. Without another word she pulled out a second pokemon and said "Duosion, you're up."

Kalahni on the other hand, while a bit off put by the random greeting, didn't seem TOO nervous around the boy.
It was awkward sure, but she wouldn't pass up an opportunity to make a new friend. "Yeah," She beamed, taking the Rowelet from her head and holding his stomach in both hands. He squirmed a little but not much. "This is Poppy, we just started our journey today." She left out the part about her not really wanting to go on the whole journey thing, or use her Pokemon in battles. She supposed she'd bring that up if the boy wanted a battle, which would be ridiculous as she sent another glance over to the carnivorous Pokemon. "How long have you been on yours?"

Drake was standing outside of Sleepybay town, tossing a rock up and down in his hand before throwing it across the frozen pond and watching it skid across, startling a few Surskit in the process. He snorted and picked up another rock and did the same thing, this time aiming for the Surskit with a smirk as he just barely missed one.

Dante, clearly, was making his way to Sleepybay town. The Trainer wasn't going to spend long in that place since it didn't have the gym that he was travelling for. His frogadier walked beside him on two feet, slightly hunched over as usual. Dante lifted his head a little, noticing the presence of a strange looking trainer up ahead.

Drake, out of the corner of his eye, spotted Dante walking up and with a Frogadier! Pokemon like that would be useful for Team Infinite. Instead of skipping his next rock across the frozen pond he purposefully missed and sent it flying towards Dante, wanting to see if the Frogadier would be able to stop it in time.

Dante, although aware of the rock flying towards them, just kept walking. Seeming unfazed. It was at the corner of his eye in which he signaled to his Frogadier, who quickly jumped and swiped the rock out of the way. Dante said a thanks to his Frogadier before he huffed, eyeing the person infront of him; obviosuly curious on why the trainer was throwing rocks..

Drake huffed softly and slowly turned to face the approaching trainer. "Sorry about that," He shrugged, not sounding sorry at all. "Wasn't aiming for you. Nice Pokemon you got there." He rested his teal eyes on Frogadier before slowly sliding them back to Dante, not seeming impressed at all. "Couldn't imagine what would have happened if it hadn't helped you you there."

Dante sighed, i have no time to speak to bothersome trainers. The trainer slowed down and with an even expression, he replied; "Well if Frogadier wasn't there i would of moved out of the way." He said, looking at Frogadier who stood next ot him before glancing back towards Drake. "It's common sense, most of us have it."

"Aparently not," Drake shook his head with a laugh. "Common Sense is keeping your Pokemon in it's Pokeball.... there are people out here that would just... take it." His eyes narrowed slightly. "It's safer to keep it locked up." He moved till he was practically nose to nose with Dante, well nose to Forehead as Drake was quite tall.

Dante rolled his hazel eyes, stepping back to walk past Drake. "You make it sound as though Pokèballs are some horrible prison," His Frogadier walked just ahead of him, of course a trainer mentioning stealing Pokemon would put Dante a little on edge. He was just making sure it didn't happen, besides, something felt off about Drake. "Frogadier is strong, it can easily fight others off."

"Oh yeah?" Drake grinned and grabbed Dante by the collar of his shirt and shoved him back before he could walk past. "Prove it. Show me how easily your Frogadier can fight me off." He pulled out a Pokeball from a pocket of his Bomber jacket, the Infinity symbol plain on the sleeve.

Tie gave a quick nod and said," No problem bro." Tie then pulled out a pokeball and throw it at the Ryhorn inorder to catch it. Chasin gestured for Minior to float down beside him as he watched the other leader throw the ball at the pokemon. The rhyhorn didn't seem too nervous, even as it was freed, so Chasin didn't believe they would have any problem with it from now on. He was a little worried about the cave though. With all those rocks displaced it would have to be checked for stability. Gale watched as the Ryhorn was taken into the Pokeball, it shook on the ground three times before making a clicking noise. "Alright!" He grinned and patted Tie on the back. Even though they were gym leaders and catching Pokemon wasn't as big of a deal anymore, it was still exciting to see a Pokemon join someone's team. "Okay let's head back and look for those fossils," He jerked his thumb over his shoulder back the way they had come. "When we get back to CloudyHeights I'll be sure to put in a report about the Ryhorn and have a team come check the stability of the cave." Tie picked up the pokeball and placed into his bag for later. Tie then looked at the other two gymleaders and said," Yeah lets get back." Tie and Carracosta then walked back to the part of the cave that held the fossils and started to dig once more. |
